I have been coming here for years. Staff is always helpful. My favorite thing here are the Mexican potato skins. Love the old looks of the diner and the jukebox in the back. Great place to eat

I am fanatical about Jackson Hole’s pancakes. I never get tired of eating it. And to make a sandwich with a burger patty inside is to die for! For the most part staff is good, and they are always on point about water refill… at least during the times I go there.

Great diner food, their burgers and pano is are good. The waffle with strawberries and bananas is also delicious. The service is quick and they are open 24 hours, def would recommended especially for late night

Burgers that are the real deal!. Jackson Hole calls itself«the home of the 7 Oz burger». That’s a humble understatement. They take time to prepare each burger in a crafty manner. Each one is put under a small dome on top of a flat top, combining traditional with the untraditional into culinary art. Go here and enjoy… You will.

Food is worth the price, huge burgers. A little too greasy for me. Beware the blue cheese. It tastes like absolute vomit. Would potentially try another round here, sans the blue cheese.

We ordered a vegetarian omelette with a side of home fries, multi grain toast, waffle, and challah french toast. The omelette was too greasy and runny. The home fries and toast were good. The waffle and challah french toast were good. Both were flavourful and the saving grace of our meal. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a good addition. Overall, do not recommend the vegetarian omelette.

There burgers are HUGE!!! After coming here so many times, my fave dishes are: chicken finger parm, spinach and cheddar omelet, chili cheddar omelet, vegetarian fajita, and vegetarian quesadilla.

Overdoes the«dive» in «trendy dive». Ambiance: Makes out to be a sort of quaint grunge Route 66 type experience but leans a little too much to the grunge. Our menus were unclean, as were the tables. Parking is tight if you can get one at all. Service: Nothing special. Came here around 10am so it wasn’t crowded but got fairly ordinary attention. They are quick to refill our coffee though. Food: Nothing standout. Basic versions of pretty much everything from the waffles to the burgers that you could get anywhere. Price: Average. Nothing to recommend it.

Love this location! I’ve eaten at two other Jackson Hole Diner locations but this one is by far my favorite. It’s the quintessential greasy spoon to me. Big menu, good food and not an absurd price tag. I got the chicken wrap with roasted red peppers, avocado and spinach. I forget what they call it but it was delicious. Our waitress recommended it and she didn’t steer me wrong. Steak fries were very good also. Oh and I almost forgot my favorite part; the pickles they serve as an appetizer! Give this spot a try if you haven’t. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

This place is a little out of the way, off the beaten path, however you want to put it. It’s not super convenient to walk to but we did it anyway. All I have to say is that 1) the burgers are HUGE. 2) It’s a tad pricey to customize or add certain things and gets pretty confusing. 3) The staff is super helpful and understanding about how overwhelming the burger menu is. 4) The burgers are probably just a little too much for most people, BUT5) you won’t have to eat another meal that day. Overall, the vibe is cool, small town diner dropped on the side of the busy Astoria Blvd. They also have outdoor seating which was nice but inside is where the real old-school feel is at. If you want a burger the size of your head, this is the place. If that’s not a requirement for your burger bucket list than I’d maybe pass on it.

I’ve been coming to Jackson Hole for a long time. I would say it’s a New York institution. There are several locations in the city, but the one on Astoria Blvd is close to my heart. It is my go to place for a great burger. My favorite is the Baldouni. It’s a classic burger with fried onions, mushrooms and melted American cheese. The burger is big and is a challenge to actually take a bite out of. Most of the time I have to cut a piece to actually take a bite. If burger is not your thing, they have a variety of other vittles to satisfy your appetite. The best thing about Jackson Hole is its consistency of serving good classic diner food. They’re waffles and omelets are very good. Their orange juice is fresh squeezed. It’s not a large place but they can accommodate a big group. Although if it’s crowded, you might have to wait some time before you can be seated. Weekend brunch can be very crowded. They have parking so it’s good if you drive there. It is not close to a train station but the Q69, M60, and Q19 bus routes are close by. It’s definitely a fun place to eat reminiscent of old diners of the 50s and 60s. There’s a jukebox in every booth and a large one in the back. Sorry Happy Days fans, but I don’t think dancing is allowed(aiieeee!).

As a long time vegetarian I am always curious what diners have to offer. This did not disappoint! You can sub any burger with a veggie burger AND they even have a little vegetarian suggestion area. I went with the nachos and they were sensational.

Good ‘olé fashioned burgers x10 is what Jackson Hole offers the very hungry. While size typically doesn’t matter – or so I’ve been told mostly by the other half of our species – JH offers both size and quality. The menu is composed primarily of a plethora of burger offerings but there’s plenty for fowl feeders and vegetarians. This particular JH – like the one in Englewood, NJ – occupies a former ‘50s diner. Much of the art deco elements have been preserved. And did I mention that this is the place to go to for great shakes? Calorie counters need not apply.

It’s a Queens institution and part of it was filmed in the movie The Goodfellas, oh you never saw Goodfellas? You should punch yourself in the face. I am kidding, but not really. Truth be told, this is the quintessential diner, it is the classic diner except for not being 24 hrs, what??? They close at midnight sun-thurs and 2am on fri-sat. The place has the look, feel, smell and vibe of a classic diner, diners are a dying art and this place is a great place to keep that tradition alive. The item that they are known for are their big ass burgers, they are humungous!!! I think they say they are 7ozs and it’s basically a knife and fork job unless you don’t mind getting messy. The diner is very close to LGA airport so stopping in for a classic NY experience before a flight would be a good idea, it’s kinda in a weird location so a car might be the best option. There is public transportation but it’s a little bit of a pain. The food: Baldouni Burger– topped with fried onions, cheese and sautéed mushrooms. This is my go to for the burgers. Even though the place is known for their hamburgers, I oddly enough prefer their turkey burgers over the reg burgers. There was something about the texture of the beef that I wasn’t crazy about. The Baldouni aspect was great, their fried onions are excellent, they have so much flavor and are so perfectly cooked. The combo of cheese and mushrooms with the onions is such a perfect combo, that they do well. I recommend this. I am personally not a fan of steak fries so I would substitute onion rings or curly fries. I forgot if they have waffle but if they do, get that as well. Lol Blueberry pancakes– These had such a wonderful exterior crust, it was almost crème brûlée like. They will ask you if you want the blueberries on the inside or out, I prefer on the inside. You can see the guy take out fresh blueberries out of the frig and put it inside the batter, no cheap shit blueberries here, oh no sir. I enjoyed the pancake but my only criticism would be the pancakes could use a bit more moisture.

Came here on a weekend with a group of 4. We only had to wait about 15 minutes before getting seated. Once nice thing was they sat 2 of us first and allowed us to wait for the other 2 to arrive. They were nice about. I got their breakfast/brunch special: Angelina’s Marinated Shell Steak with steak fries, bialy, orange juice, and coffee. The steak was a big disappointment. I ordered it medium rare. It came medium. That wasn’t my main concern. My main concern was that the steak was soggy. Like it had been boiled. It wasn’t seasoned at all. It was a let down. The steak fries were as expected. Lots of potato. Not overly fried. Seasoned well. I wouldn’t say these are the best steak fries I’ve ever had but I would probably recommend the chili cheese steak fries instead of steak fries on the side. The bialy was decent. They probably don’t make it in house but it was okay. They didn’t put enough garlic in the center of the depression and they put the butter in the depression as well. For future people, I would recommend getting the butter on the side so you can spread it throughout the bialy. Otherwise it is just concentrated in the center and doesn’t taste that good. The bread was a little chewy. I ordered my eggs over easy and they executed that perfectly. The vegetables was overly oily. I also got a chance to try their chili cheese steak fries and I thought it tasted good. All the cheese was melted and they didn’t hold back on the beans/chili. The fresh squeeze orange juice was amazing. Practically no pulp. However, I suspect that they added quite a bit of sugar to the mix. I could be wrong but I highly doubt they could find such sweet oranges in the month of October. The coffee was eh. Just diner coffee. Little watered down. It was really hard for me to rate this place because of the poor execution on the steak but with amazing orange juice(dear to my heart). I ultimately decided that execution and technique is more important than my orange juice. Because they are known for their 7oz burger, I expect them to know how to cook meat. I saw them cooking their burgers and it seemed like they were executing them well. One thing to note is that those patties are HUGE. Despite their shortcomings, I will come back here and try their burger and see if they can execute that properly. In terms of service, it was excellent. They were attentive to your needs despite the busyness. One thing they can improve upon is the ventilation of the diner. It was very stuffy, lots of smoke from the grill, and not a lot of ventilation.

The food was great and they made me so happy! I was in my way to JFK and stopped there for a burger to eat and ended up with a small one to go. The burger was tasty and the service was great. I had a great experience. Also, when they packed my burger to go, they took the care to wrap the lettuce and tomato separate so nothing got soggy. They really paid attention to the details. This is my go to spot from now on when leaving NY.

Only got the burger because it was rated #2 on foursquare in Astoria. This is the second one they sent. Raw meat, microwaved. There are no sear marks on the meat and it took 3 minutes to make. Tastes disgusting and they refused a refund. The stuffed french toast was good. The mozzarella sticks were ok. Chicken fingers were frozen.

This is a good burger place. The menu had 20 different burger styles. My turkey burger was huge and I ended up taking it home. My milkshake was ok. I could have saved those calories. It was a nice diner spot

273 reviews have been written prior to this one so there’s no need to go into deep detail… Jackson Hole brings you a variety of Big Ass 7oz Burgers that are pretty damn tasty. These Big Ass Boulders of Beef are paired with Big Ass Steak Fries that are just as tasty. Part of the fun is figuring how you’re gona devour this meat-o-rite sized manwitch without the burger & bun falling apart in your hands. A big greasy mess will ensue if you try and eat this burger without a plan of attack. Being the civilized gentleman that I am, I wimped out and cut the burger into two neat halves. One half for the diner and the other half for the road. With that said I really enjoyed my Kaluba Burger(see pic) and my strawberry milkshake. I’ll be back and maybe i’ll leave room for dessert? Jackson Hole. Good Stuff!

A few decades ago before Al Gore invented the Internet and back in the days when you were actually forced to speak to human beings to get a burger recco, a fellow Manhattanite suggested Jackson Hole on the UES. While the burgers have always been the largest I’ve seen in New York, the weak service, low-grade diner-style ambience and inconsistency eventually led me to other great burger establishments such as JG Melon and Corner Bistro. So on a recent sojourn to Laguardia, I noticed a Jackson Hole off the GCP and decided to give it a fresh spin after a 15 year respite. To be truthful, despite the change in borough, not much has changed: The run-down diner feel is still pervasive and the waiters in the Elmhurst location seem to be eligible for ESL classes, but the burgers remain gigantic, properly cooked and delicious together with the complimentary bowl of dill and half-sour pickle slices. I ordered the one with the fried egg and cheddar and it was massive and messy. The onion rings were excellent and the cokes quickly refilled by a responsive team of servers. The prices have risen over the years. A lone burger will now set you back about ten bucks without the platter, but after being away from Jackson Hole for so long, I was happy to pay $ 10 for quality and it felt good to be back in the good graces of JH. A follow-up visit in which I requested ‘RUSH’ service because of an upcoming flight only confirmed that this is a well-trained, excellent staff of hard working waiters, bus boys and cooks eager to serve up gigantic portions of good food without pomp or circumstance. As a man who despises cold weather, the Jackson Hole Diner is as close to the real Jackson Hole as I’ll ever get. And that’s just fine by me.

They quote it’s the home of the 7 ounce burger, but it sure feels more hefty when you’re inhaling it down. The prices for their burgers and meal with fries, etc may be above average for a «diner ambiance,» but it fulfills your craving for a solid burger. It may fill your coronary arteries with some cholesterol as well. The diner is a small chain with it’s other locations spread out in Manhattan and other areas of Queens. This location is a bit annoying to get to so you’ll definitely need a car. Western Burger — can’t go wrong with the combo of bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. Only issue is that fried onions on your burger here means sautéed, not fried, not crispy. Chicken Club Panini– Surprisingly good with bacon, cheese, and solid pesto flavor. Overall Jackson Hole is old school diner establishment that seems to elevate its diner good food game. The menu is typical and large with your upgraded selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads and specialty hot foods. Also the smell of dessert here is going to slay you and bring out the inner fatty to party.

I give this place a solid 4. I am taking off a star bc the windows we were sitting behind were very drafty… I think they need to re seal them or get new ones. The food and service was great! This was my first time here and my bf who lives a few blocks away has always raved about this place. He said their burgers they are known for. The menu is pretty much all burgers, breakfast foods and some other platters but otherwise straight forward. Since it was chilly i decided to have a bowl of chicken soup. It was delicious out of this world amazing. The chicken was super tender tasted as good as grandmas homemade soup. I would come back and get it again! I decided to order the turkey bbq burger! It was a lot of ground meat! It was def not frozen. It was huge. But i was starving so that did not prohibit me from enjoying it. I needed lots of napkins bc there was a lot of sauce and some grease from the bacon but totally worth it. I decided to swap the regular fries for the curly fries. It made me happy. Highly recommend the soup and will be back to test out another burger.

Dinner proche de l’hotel de LaGuardia. Typique américain, on y mange très bien avec un large choix. Accueil très acceptable. J’aime bien lorsqu’ils viennent reservir une deuxième tasse de café, et gratuitement.
