A very conveniently placed DSC in LaGuardia. I don’t love flying out of LGA, but sitting in the lounge makes the experience a lot more bearable. Airport lounges can run the gamut in terms of quality, but Delta usually does a pretty decent job. I don’t have Delta status, but you can gain access to these clubs(as well as the Centurion lounge) if you have a Platinum American Express card and same-day ticket. For Delta Sky Clubs, it has to be a Delta ticket. The food offerings at this particular location are pretty standard(bar snacks, small salad bar), with a separate Nathan’s Hot Dog«stand» to give it that NYC flavor. In my opinion, a fairly low-cost way that keeps the customers pretty happy. The bar selection is decent, with a lot of things available for purchase(meh), but they do have complimentary Brooklyn Lager on tap, so it’s a pretty good place to hang. The staff was very kind and courteous, and the staff behind the bar was very attentive to my every need. Make sure to tip them well, even if you’re not«paying» for your drinks. The general seating arrangement is pretty nice, and you never feel too cramped, even though the place can get kinda crowded during peak hours. Yet, it’s a fairly calm oasis, away from the crazy boarding areas in front of the gates, so I definitely relish utilizing a lounge when I can.

In general crown rooms er sky lounges are pleasant — friendly people, good space. The only frustrating thing about thi concourse d lounge is the wifi — repeatedly bad — I mean 5 – 10 minutes to actually get a connection bad. I have had this problem consistently. It’s like they doubled the size of the club and kept the old router. The other question that always gnaws at me every time I am in a crown room is, who thought that low chairs paired with high, shoulder level tables was a good idea? Did somebody actually get paid for that sage piece of interior decoration advice? Is there such a thing as interior design malpractice?

Great lounge and a surprise find! Firstly it is spacious, then there are power points dotted throughout. There is freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and the food selection is pretty good. As I was on a morning flight, the breakfast was: oatmeal, bagels, yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereals. They also have a full service bar, though you pay for that. The washrooms(men’s) were clean and large. Made me glad I had come to the airport early! If you have a Platinum Amex, you get in the lounge free(as long as you are traveling on Delta of course!)

I’m a fan of the Delta Sky Club in Terminal C. It is much nicer than the Terminal D Sky Club for one reason = windows! You can watch planes and there’s lots of light. Huge space with plenty of seating. I’m very pleased that Delta has improved the food and now serves decent soup, pasta, and popcorn! You have to order at the bar though and the house(free) wines are just average.

Certainly not the best delta lounge, but I appreciate the clean, spacious lounge. I have yet to experience over-crowding at this club that you often experience at other delta terminals. You’ve got your standard delta spread– a couple of soups, salad, olives, cheese, etc. I just wish there was adequate workspace with more comfortable chairs in addition to the high tops with no-back stools.

Nice, very nice, clean and relaxing from the hectic pace of the craziness of the delays and crankiness of the many passengers who were held up. The employees of Delta are all very courteous and continuously thank you for choosing Delta and bend over backwards to please.

Delta sure knows how to properly welcome you into their terminal and make you feel comfortable. The seats and comfier than most, you can also use one of their complimentary tablets and feel free to charge your device at one of the many usb or electrical outlets. If you are bored you can watch TV. I arrived at the airport super early and ended up hanging out here for a while and all of them amenities helped me pass the time faster. Not only that but you don’t even have to leave your seat to get food. If you order using their tablet they will bring your meal right to you. Now that’s convenience and you don’t have to worry about leaving and missing your boarding call. This definitely makes me want to fly Delta more often.

Serviceable lounge, It’s larger and more open than others but the décor and offerings are rather bland. I’ve been here a couple of times. One time the coffee machine wasn’t working and this time I couldn’t even find it. For breakfast they had hard boiled eggs(I skipped those) and bagels, muffins and some fruit. Staff is friendly and they keep the space clean.

The lounge is solid. Food is kinda average. Occasionally the servers will bring horderves around for you to sample. However, they put too much sodium into the soup and cranberry chicken salad. My head hurt every time I ate them.

I think if I had not just come from the Delta Sky Lounge at Orlando’s MCO airport I wouldn’t have been so harsh on this one. This one was very cold — very loud — and very bright and clinical. The furniture was not very comfortable — lighting was like a hospital and the layout was not conducive at all to comfort or privacy. I wasn’t very impressed…

Generally Delta Sky Lounges are pretty standard, and offer the same basic amenities. The LGA location in Terminal D is usually a bit more spacious than others, however is currently under construction which means some of those amenities are displaced, and it is a bit louder within as a result. In any case, same great customer service you’ll find with similar comforts at Delta’s other locations.

FREEZING! Why they had outside bleed air blowing into the giant diner-like sitting area is beyond me. Otherwise a pretty nifty setup with iPads complementary at every table to order food or use for apps and the newspaper. Just make sure you have a jacket on hand.

This is the SkyLounge, inside Terminal D. Its a good lounge. The best part about this lounge is the space. Compared to the very cramped quarters outside, this lounge has tall ceiling, many comfy chairs and plenty of breathing space. Its pretty quiet in here as well. There is a bar and the bar tender is quick. You won’t have to wait for long to get your drink. You step up, make eye contact and your drink will magically materialize. Which is very important, because many of us have 20 – 30 mins in the lounge max, and we have to head out there to get in line to board again. So speed and efficiency service from this lounge is a great thing. I have to say the best part about this lounge is the peace and quiet it offers. Its crazy town out there and this lounge is a calm oasis.

Located right after security, this Delta Sky Club is amazing. Spacious entry way, and even more spacious sky club. The breakfast offerings were good: hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, mini muffins, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, yogurt, and a few other light snacks. The bar does not open until 8:00am, but there were bartenders setting up beforehand, making sure that it could open on time. Very quiet inside, with plenty of power outlets at every seat. Wifi was strong and not spotty at all. I haven’t visited the Terminal C Sky Club, but Terminal D is perfection.

If I had to pay for this lounge, it would be a little disappointing in terms of food choices and complimentary alcohol choices. There is a lot of space and places to spread out which is nice. Snacks are the order of the day here with popcorn, spicy snack mix, and pretzels along with soups, crudités, olives, etc. to munch on. Only a couple of beers(Miller lite is one) and house wines are complimentary. The lounge is close to gate D1, is clean and the staff are pleasant.

The SkyClub @LGA Terminal D is one of my preferred locations. Since the guest rule was amended last year, the experience at this particular lounge has been outstanding. For anyone unfamiliar with Terminal D, it is insanely crowded. SkyClub comes to the rescue. Location is within 250 feet of just about all of the gates in Terminal D. Staff are friendly and helpful. When flying in and out of here weekly for work, most of the staff knew me by name. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Snacks are adequate to hold you over. This particular lounge is easily one of the reasons I can justify my loyalty to Delta. Highly recommend visiting this SkyClub during your next visit to LGA.

Free food, free drinks, soft chairs, plenty of electrical outlets, TV, clean bathrooms, a printer(really?! who needs one?), room to stretch out and more. What’s missing? Loudly talking business people with too many drinks in them? No, they have that. Never mind. Thank goodness for Delta lounges in airports, away from the annoying terminal business, like, why can’t anything be understood that’s broadcast over the public address? If you have to sit around in an airport my friends, this is the way to do it. I actually got a lot of work done without having to plug my laptop into the outlet behind a pole meant for the vacuum cleaners. Best $ 29 you’ll ever spend. Go out into the terminal and buy a couple of beers and some food. You’ll spend that much and more. Written by a long-time Delta Sky Miles Frequent Flyer with time on his hands! There, take that!

Do you often find yourself stranded in the middle of no where(in this case, LaGuardia Airport) because of your flight delays?(Psst, I’m looking at you Delta…) Do you like lounging around? Do you like complimentary snacks and beverages? Do you like clean bathrooms that don’t smell like… um… the bathroom? if so, I’ve got the perfect place for you. The Delta Sky Lounge at LaGuardia Airport, located conveniently at both the C and D terminals, will offer all the above amenities and more. Sure, it’s crowded, but it’s New York. You’re bound to be surrounded by people everywhere.
