Berlin Bike is by far the best bike shop I’ve found in CT, and I’ve tried a lot of them. It’s not the closest to my house, but it’s worth the extra drive. I recently worked with Bruce to special order a Velo Orange frame and components. It was very easy and Bruce always helped steer me in the right direction. On multiple visits to the store I’ve seen nothing but great customer service for everyone who walks in the door, which is definitely not always the case at other shops. Can’t recommend this place enough.

It’s like walking into your buddy’s garage.
Bruce, Chris and the gang actively steer you away from overspending on unnecessary upgrades, and won’t sell you a bike until they understand what you want and need. We’ve bought several bikes over the years, and every time we felt like we got great VALUE. Good quality, good advice, great service, and a really good price. Here you feel like you got a little bit more than you paid for!

This is an awesome bike shop — I’ve had excellent customer service every single time I’ve visited their store. They really take the time to work with you and are so incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you need a bike, a repair, a tune-​up or accessories, I definitely recommend visiting their store!

Excellent shop, very helpful staff who are great at helping answer bike and equipment questions without being pushy. They have an extensive inventory of bikes and accessories. Super helpful in resolving equipment problems and even exchanged a pair of road shoes that didn’t exibit a problem until I hit a longer ride (65 mile point feet complained the shoes were too narrow). I highly recommend Berlin Bicycle Shop.

Excellent customer service, many long time customers including myself. They don’t talk down their customers, pressure or up sell them. I highly recommend them. They are very patient with their customers especially to those who are new to buying a bike store quality bike, a big investment for many people.

When I was in the market for a bike i looked a lot online and found some bikes i liked and then drove around to stores to try some of them, and realized nothing i liked online was the right bike for me.
I ended up going to about 10 bike shops and trying 2 or 3 bikes at each one and ended up with a Specialized Vienna from Berlin Bicycle. the sales people were friendly and not pushy, and they let me ride a bunch of bikes and decide what worked.
