I tried the hazelnut, sea salt caramel, and the pear sorbet with midori, which were all delicious! I especially liked the pear sorbet with midori. The staff is friendly, and you can sample whichever ones you want. Definitely worth returning to!

A good place to visit, even if only to sample the MANY different flavors to your hearts content. Prices are a bit high, but not so unusual for gelato. Try the mint stracciatella and the salted caramel and you will return for more. They sell it by the scoop — or take home cups, pints and quarts. A nice touch is that they place plastic wrap over the top and under the lid to keep it fresh. Truth be told, I have had better gelato — but had to go to Europe for it, so this place saves me money on the airfare. What’s particularly nice is that they are open on Sunday’s and throughout the winter, so I do not have to wait when my taste buds want that silky smooth taste that only gelato may satisfy.

I had the good fortune to stumble upon Jenny & Frank’s Gelato at the Lansdale Farmer’s Market a few months ago. At first taste of their salted caramel gelato I was sold. That is about the creamiest, smoothest gelato, flavored perfectly without being overly sweet. At 10am you don’t want your breakfast gelato overly sweet! Now they operate a store right here in West Norriton, just past Rita’s on Ridge. I love Rita’s like any other Pennsylvanian, but this place is a summer game changer. We just had their salted caramel, stracciatella(did I spell that right? It was like creamy chocolate chip vanilla), lemon and white chocolate peppermint. All awesome! Also sampled their chocolate hazelnut(like what Nutella probably tastes like in heaven) and their seasonal blueberry basil which was good and interesting, definitely one for the foodies. Besides selling scoops they also have pints and, wait for it, gelato cakes! Why did I have to find this place 2 months AFTER my birthday? Oh well, someone’s birthday must be soon and I know what they’re getting.
