Food is amazing as always. Fresh, tender, and great. Had the BBQ chicken BLT, wonderful. My sister had the pulled pork nachos and my brother in law the tri tip sandwich– he said was the best he’d ever had. Design & atmosphere inside is great and our server Aaron only added to our pleasant experience. Thank you!

If you like BBQ, this place is incredibly average, especially relative to the prices and reviews. Really there isn’t much to say. Famous Daves has better BBQ, and that’s embarrassing for a local restaurant. My tri-tip was without flavor and anything but juicy. The meat was fairly dry, ribs were small, sauce was just okay. I paid extra to sub in Mac and cheese as a side, and it was flavorless and bland. Honestly, I can’t imagine any reason to visit this place ever again. If you like legit BBQ, please don’t ever visit this place. Only giving it two stars because I reserve one star for places that are truly awful. This place is just substandard.

Tried this place out on 6÷7÷16 for dinner. Got seated immediately, briefly waited for our server Weston, he was awesome! Knew the menu, made some great recommendations. We were served in less time than it took for our waiter to greet us! I had the ribs, half rack, Coleslaw and fries, could not finish it! DELICIOUS! BBQ sauce was on point, spicy, but not too hot. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich«Carolina style» with the slaw on the sandwich and fries. Sandwich was huge, bun was a perfect texture and held up for the entire meal. No soggy bun! We also had a tap beer, Coors light that was ICE cold and it stayed cold! This prompted a walk down memory lane trying to recall the best cold beer we e ever had, this was hands down the COLDEST beer we’ve had in ages! Strong work Bodacious Pig! So, because it was a special occasion we sleuthed and split a peach cobbler a la mode… OMG! I cannot say enough about the food, our excellent wait staff Weston, and the entire experience!

Wow! This place does not disappoint! Although we came here at a busy time and had a big group it was all worth the wait. Aaron was our server and he was awesome! Took our order as soon as we sat down since we took a look at the menu while we waited. We waited about 10 mins for our order to come out, but it was all delicious! If I’m ever back in ID this place will be at the top!

Ya… So… their pulled pork sandwich was to die for! Add that coleslaw for those added flavors. Ended up getting the mac and cheeser as a side and it was good but it wasn’t something I would crave. I will try the fries next time. I had to add a lot of salt but still tasty! The reason this wasn’t a fiver star for me is because the service was really slow. It took someone 5 minutes to notice me waiting to be seated(it wasn’t busy) then it took about 15 minutes to get a menu and water. Thankfully it was a leisure day so I reminded myself to relax. Food was the redeeming piece. Givvvv’er a whirl, you will love!

My wife and I and the in-laws when to Bodacious Pig last night. I’ve been there many times before, the service has never been anything but excellent and the food is out of this world so I highly recommend that you try Bodacious Pig at least once.

The meat is smoked and has a great texture. A must try if you are in the eagle area. I recommend the ribs, brisket, & pulled pork nachos. Love the décor– they have an interior decorator come in and switch it up every 3 months.

Great food, great service!!! The owners and staff really know what their doing here at BP. I highly recommend the Pig Style Tri Tip sandwich, Brunch Burger, Oink Oink Burger, Ribs, Pulled Pork, BBQ Shrimp, Pulled Pork Nachos, Wings and don’t forget the AMAZING Bread Pudding! It’s to die for. Always consistent here at BP. When I get asked where is great BBQ here in Idaho, I always send people to Bodacious Pig BBQ. Check it out you won’t be sorry!

I love the pulled pork sandwich Carolina style and sweet tea! I would give them five stars but the service is hit-and-miss. We have been here several times. The spicy bbq sauce is my favorite.

I lived in Kansas City for a while, so I’ve had some pretty amazing bbq, but I must say, this place ranks up there pretty high! I had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was very tasty! It was a different style of bbq than I’m used to. It didn’t have sauce on it but there were two kinds of house bbq sauce on the side. It was very tender and it included some burnt ends. As good as the meat was, the bread was unlike any I’ve ever had. It was so soft and you could tell it was fresh baked. The service was excellent as well! Check this place out!

Bodacious, indeed! I’m so glad we gave this place another shot! Our first visit was opening day or possibly, their soft opening and it was rough. I had seen so many great reviews though, so tonight, we came back and boy am I glad we did! We ordered the same meal as our first visit, the Combination 3 meat, intentionally and it was delicious! The sausage, try tip and pulled pork were all tasty and not dry and wow, the fries! The service was fantastic! Absolutely love their décor and on a side note, the booths are so comfy! They have crayons for the little ones, another plus! We will be back again!

Very good. I try to visit a local BBQ joint any new place I’m in. It was a good up between here and another place. Glad we went here. They have sweet tea, always a bonus. The sandwich for lunch was plenty of food. The beans are different but good. The pork is good and they chose a great roll to use for the sandwich. The mop sauce was pretty tasty. And our service was good too. If I lived here I would definitely be back.

Best BBQ in the area! I love the tritip and pulled pork dinners! Great for a quick call in order, stop and grab, or go in for great service!(I have done all 3) Make sure to get the potato salad… it is totally worth it! They also sell there BBQ sauce by the bottle for your own BBQ at home. ;) As a last thought… they also catered a work party and they did a great job there too!

Well damn if we didn’t get lucky and find this place. Nice BBQ in the little town of Eagle. Saw the great reviews and decided to hit it up! Wife and I ordered the Tri Tip sammich and LOVED it. So tender and so flavorful. Served on garlic bread as a bonus. Mine came with a delicious Cole slaw and I accompanied it with a local IPA. We will be back!!! Thanks for another great meal on our trip to Boise!

With a business called Bodacious Pig BBQ, you know if things live up to the name you are in for some juicy BBQ goodness. We tried it all, so you don’t have to.(I know, I know, the amount of self-sacrifice is remarkable.) If you want a slam dunk order, get the ribs, alongside their classic cole slaw, and either their rich mac and cheese, solid caesar salad, or the beans. Ask them to bring out the hotter BBQ sauce if you feel up to it. We found our order of pulled pork a weaker link despite some others saying this meat selection was the best of their three options(pulled pork, ribs and tri-tip.) Our pulled pork was on the dry side and missing some of that juicy, succulent moisture(fatty goodness) that makes some pulled pork roll-back-the-eyes delicious. I’m a big fan of soft chunk of bread with BBQ, but it’d be nice to have a less buttery option. Overall, a nice meal and a good value, with the terrific ribs and traditional but really tasty coleslaw being standouts.(Small portions, but stick to your ribs filling stuff.) The atmosphere at Bodacious Pig is casual and fun: a little sparkle, a little wood grain, some nice leather booths. The service here was friendly and responsive. Overall, a nice stop for any fan of BBQ.

Once again Tyler(server) nailed it! We got the tri tip with pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and beans We also got the oink oink burger. Do it! Patio was open and had awesome music! Can’t wait to come back this summer for more food. This place is seriously good eats, tell your friends! 06/09/2015. Well looks like we’re a diary out this place: cannot express how much I love this pink pig. Today we tried hog wash tri tip sandwich not in the menu PLEASEORDERWICKEDGOOD! Oink oink burger was delicious, other than our server Tyler liking Lebron everything was perfect! We will forgive him for his poor judgement(best server). Until next time!
