Games & Cards Superstore

My friend’s son has been wanting to go there to pick up some things for his Pokemon collection.
We were greeted by Art, one of the owners. Really nice guy. Helpful, but not at all pushy.
I was impressed with how patient Art was with my friend’s 9-​year-​old son. He answered all his questions in a very friendly manner. Art even had an opportunity to make a little bit bigger sale, but told the young man that the «deluxe» version of what he was buying wasn’t much different than the regular version… expect for the price. How cool is that!
Looks like they have about every kind of card you can imagine. They also have a computer system you can use to look up the price of the cards. They make it really easy for you.
I saw someone coming in to sell their son’s card collection. I guess they also buy cards and collections too.
Parking is on the street, but there’s plenty of it. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and had no trouble at all finding a free parking spot on the street.
I’m not a card collector or a gamer, but if I knew someone who was, I wouldn’t hesitate to tell them about this place.

If you are a card collector, this is a great place. They are so organized that everything card that they have is on their website with a picture. I have been to many places where you look through a box with hundreds of cards and hope you find one that you like. Here, you can browse their website and search for the exact card (s) you are looking for. I would highly recommend it!

What I love about this place is that if you’re a geek or nerd (like myself) you will feel like you’re coming home.
The day I went in, there was an epic MTG card game going on. It was quite intense. Too intense that the body odor was noticeable the second I walked in.
Advice to you bigger guys, invest in deodorant. You do smell bad, maybe you don’t realize it but wooooooooo.

In a large city like LA where good shops are hard to find, I highly recommend this place. Well organized with good inventory to boot. Art, the co-​owner, is approachable and most importantly, cares about customer retention. If you know local card shops, this is not a quality that is instilled consistently. They have a rewards program that is also a nice perk if you are buying there often.
They have a large database of cards, to which I wish we could sift through in store, but can be accessed through their website. Store is in a good location that isn’t particularly hard to get to either.

Amazing store which is well organised and very easy to find singles cards to complete your sets via there well organised computer system. Staff are super friendly and down to earth who will go above and beyond to make sure your happily satisfied. Probably the most organised card store I’ve ever been to who really love what they do and prices are really good on boxs and cards parks etc. Definitely a place to check out.

Super Store is right. The selection here is fantastic. They’ll get anything you request on order. They have good discount items for the thrifty. And it is just a good-​time place to hang out and check the goods at. They offer a great selection and good pricing.

Really great business. I placed an order for pickup via the website on a vacation on July 4^th, and got a call on Saturday to confirm the pickup before I even called them to see if it was ready! They even wanted to make sure that I had selected pickup correctly since I had an out-​of-​state address. Store is clean, people were friendly enough and I got all the cards I needed. Really great selection, very fair pricing. I walked in and my order was ready to go without a problem.
My only gripe was probably the website, I was able to order everything fine but the cart doesn’t «save» your selection to your account between sessions, so I had to order everything in one go rather than add things as I thought of them. Not a big deal but something I hope they plan on fixing.

This place has a great selection of sport cards as well as TCG cards. Wide range of Magic the Gathering cards as well as Yugioh and Pokemon.
Cons; Parking and enough Pokemon cards? :-p
Pros; Friday Night Magic, sports cards, and prices on cards are fair.
Overall; This is my #1 shop for both sports and TCG if I can’t find anything online.

Good sized shop with a nice selection of cards. I felt the prices were fairly high, especially for older packs of cards from the 90’s and early 2000’s. Didn’t want to budge on the price of a card that was clearly dinged up in several corners. It’s nice having card shops to go to but I prefer to get my cards cheaper online.

I recently moved to Eagle Rock and have been thrilled with this Games & Cards Superstore. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and they have a great inventory as well. They also have a great website where you can place your order online and pick it up in the store.

Short review. I was almost embarrassed to call but my son is now into Pokemon and I wanted to get him a used set that was less expensive than the four bucks PER PACK they charge at Target, and they were super nice and super helpful on the phone…
I didn’t tell them that I am a published graphic novelist, which would have given me some no doubt nerd cred either.

I grew up going to this store when it was Thunder & Lightning. Art & Harry are awesome guys who have always been good to everyone! Genuine people with honest opinions and suggestions, experienced and well knowledge. You can not go wrong with Games & Cards!

Harry and Art are some of the nicest guys i have ever come across in the hobby. they’re knowledgable, friendly, and will tell you straight up about the products — meaning they won’t try to rip you off. i can never go in there for 5 minutes, always end up chatting away, which is a good thing unless the misses is waiting in the car…

The guys who work there are SUPER friendly, SUPER helpful and really cool! Theye got an awesome selection of games and cards — great for anyone who likes to collect. I bought a few board games from there, decent prices, super organized!

HUGE selection of baseball cards and yu gi oh stuff but barely has any pokemon. really useful if you are looking for the best quality binders, card sheets, deck boxes, sleeves etc. pretty much anything you need to keep your cards organized and safe this is the place to go.

Awesome card shop you guys do a great job with the organization of the store and availability with card accessories like plastic sleeves, etc and it’s cool to stop in and be treated well even if all you are doing is buying a 3 dollar clearance pack. They have a great selection of football cards, baseball, basketball, hockey, and UFC and they carry a lot of different gaming cards (not really into that stuff) The guys running this shop know a lot about sports and are always willing to have a chat with you and just help you with anything you need.

Pretty good card shop… run by some good guys who know their product and will converse about anything, especially the dodgers! They have all the new stuff right when it comes out. Prices are decent. Online shop has better prices and may qualify for free shipping. They usually load up on the good stuff like SP Authentic for all sports, leaf limited football, topps sterling, bowman sterling, spx, etc. They also have all that Magic stuff if thats what you like. Good selection of singles and memorabilia as well. I always try to stop by when I am on the 134!
