Overall this is a nice place to eat dinner if you’re in Eagle Point(especially if you have kids). The menu is similar to the Pizza Scmizzas in Portland, but very different atmosphere. I went on a Friday night, and it was packed. It took about 45 minutes to get our appetizer and then an additional 15 minutes to get the entrée. We were happy with the breadsticks we got as an appetizer and the pizza was good. I would not recommend the fries. They are battered in flower before fried which gave them a weird chalky after taste.

The Pizza is really good and I love how clean the place is! However, I haven’t really had any luck with their customer service. Quite a few times we’ve called in an order, and when we arrive well after the time frame they gave us, our order was not placed because the employee who answered the phone forgot. Pretty frustrating and they’ve never offered any discounts or coupons for their mistakes.

The food is really good! I love this pizza. It’s the service that has been really horrible. They just moved to a new location and we decided to give it a try and see the new place, it wasn’t the best experience. We ordered drinks and when the bartender brought them to us in the dining room she starts screaming«yeah!!! Rock n roll!!!» at us. Really off putting. The food was still good but they absolutely RUINED a good thing they had with the karaōke. It used to be really intimate and SO fun when it was a Wednesday night thing. We’d go all the time. Then they went and switched it to weekends and got a new KJ, it wasnt as good but we rolled with it. However the new set up in the new place is horrible! Karaōke in the middle of the dining room and they hired the two most awful KJs we have ever seen. They aren’t fun and can’t sing. So disappointing for a place that was so fun to go to before.

We ate here 3 times and will never return again service is slow and the food is not that great. The chicken parm sandwich tastes like banquet frozen chicken and you can never find a bartender when you want a drink. Will spend my hard earned money at kaleidoscope never going back there again The owner was moving a ladder around during the lunch hour disturbing us, he was changing light bulbs then he proceeded to yell at a waitress for mis pouring a Pepsi.

The pizza was tasty and came in a reasonable amount of time. Lots of interesting choices. Server was friendly and I liked the rock n roll atmosphere. This location has live music and while we were only there a short time after the band started they were good. Looking forward to going again.

My family is new to town and we’ve been underwhelmed by the Southern Oregon food scene. We decided to try this place this weekend for the first time, and it was not awful. The server was very friendly, and it didn’t seem to take long for our food to arrive. I had a side Greek salad, which actually was a nice sized pile of seemingly fresh spinach with a nice dressing and some other veggies and feta. The kids enjoyed their pizzas, and the adults had sandwiches that weren’t much to write home about, but they weren’t awful, either. However, the one major negative(which cost them a full star on this rating) was the massive number of black flies in the dining room. At one point, I counted seven flies buzzing around the windows and even killed one near our table. I hate to think about how many flies might be in the kitchen. Seriously, I’ve worked in food service, get some fly trap lights and put them in the dining room to control the bugs! Food and service were good, flies were not so good. We’ll likely be back at some point to give it a second chance.

Great pizza and pasta. Beer was cold and good price. Great selection with a full bar. Interior is decorated very cool classic rock style. Attention to detail was noticed. Some of the best pizza around will take my family here from now on.

Surprised by the one star reviews. My family and I have eaten here 3 times now. I’m not an Abby’s pizza fan and am always searching for a better local pie. I thought Schmizza’s pizza was pretty good. Their pub fries were good. My daughter likes the spaghetti. Good selection of beers on tap. The first two visits the service was slow but I gave them a pass. They had only been open a short time and it was busy. We plan on going again. It’s nothing to write home about but definitely not horrible.

So, uh, what’s with all the filtered reviews? Anyway, considering the Pizza Schmizza chain is certainly worth a visit when you’re in the Portland area, I’m not sure what’s going out in Eagle Point. The menu’s more or less the same as best as I can recall, but that’s where the similarities end. While the Portland locations are generally staffed by disaffected hipsters, they’re at least pleasant enough for the short while you’re dealing with them. That, and they get your food right. I’ve been to Schmizza’s EP location, and it’s a crapshoot as to whether or not they get your order right. Will they tell your food will take much longer than needed to cook — thus ensuring it sits and gets cold? Yes. Will the tell you your food will only need a short while to cook but need more time — thus ensuring a lengthy wait? Yes. Will they under/over cook ingredients so that your pizza tastes terrible? Yes. Will you wait at the counter forever for someone to show up and help you? Yes. I figured my first few experiences were just a matter of them getting their sea legs. Unfortunately, the only thing consistent about this Schmizza is that they’re rather inconsistent in their service and quality. It’s a shame as I mentioned, their Portland-area franchises are generally fantastic. Maybe one day they can be on the same level as Kaleidoscope. So far, that hasn’t even been remotely the case. Oh well.

Wow!!! Bad service… poor«sysco» quality food, decent, but very over price beer. So, lets start early… took about 10 – 15 minutes to get our drink orders…(watched a couple on the couch wait close to 30min to get drinks.) Bartenders name was Cicily, or something similar… Very bad dyed blond hair… very VERY bad tattoo sleeve. I had to bus my own table… walk to the bar to order beers and food… she was a bit busy, could have used a cocktail server to help… but she SUCKED. Didnt once ask if i wanted/needed another beer… Other«waitresses» similarly uninterested in guest happiness.
