The (apparent) owners and some other «important» peeps were having an intense discussion about FOR SALE signs posted in cars, parked in nearby Taos. «That’s not allowed in Taos, but I feel like it’s *different* here.» Hmm, ok. I sensed that they felt Taos was somewhat of a ridiculous, overrated place, which I can see happening… thanks Julia! Ice placement, etc, were also topics of strong feelings amongst this group of four or five.
The woman who rang me up had impeccable nails and makeup, not cheap, just super glam, and I wondered where the F she had this done in EAGLE NEST NEW MEXICO.
To make it better, they had Coke Blak.
No other convenience store in NM had it. And I stopped in about 30.
Yum.
