A brew with a view — seriously one of the coolest venues ever. We found this gem on Unilocal and the road to get there is definitely less traveled but there is plenty of signage so just keep going! When you arrive you will see a small wooden shack and that is the brewery. You’re literally in the middle of no where and it is so peaceful. We tried a flight and agreed that the pale ale was our fav so we had a few pints and took a growler home to enjoy. I’m not in northern NM very often but I would love to come back!

Worth the drive! A bit out of the way but a true experience. Delicious beer & even better surroundings. The owner brews beer out of his grandfathers old welding cabin.

Great brewery! It’s a little out of the way but totally worth it. Homestead Amber Ale was delicious! Cody, the owner brews about 4 – 5 and rotates 13 different beers. Great views too!

The Comanche Creek Brewery, a few miles north of Eagle Nest, NM is a fun adventure. Located on a private ranch, there is good signage to lead you to the rustic cabin that houses the brewery. The scenery and views are exceptional. And, the beers, yum! I’m not really a beer person, my husband is, but I’m changing my mind after trying their Touch Me Not IPA. Most IPAs are bitter, not so here. It was wonderful, flavorful and smooth. The ‘Ol Smokey, a dark ale with a slight hint of smoke was also very good. For 75 cents you can get a small taster, so it’s not expensive to try everything… then you can get a pint of your favorite and sit out on the patio, taking in the views as you enjoy their excellent brews. When visiting the Enchanted Circle area in northern New Mexico be sure and take some time to visit the Comanche Creek Brewery. Note: there is a port-a-potty in back. Not impossible for those in a wheelchair, but located on a ranch, dirt and rock, fairly level ground to the flagstone patio in front of the cabin. I walk with a cane and had no trouble.

Amazing location, awesome people, solid beers. Doesn’t get much better, keep up the good work. My favorite is the Iron Mountain Porter.

If this isn’t the best view of any brewery i have been to, it is close. Awesome! The beer is pretty good as well. A couple things you need to know: Kind of hard to find. It’s off rt. 38, right outside of town, but only a small sign indicates where the road to turn is at, so drive as slow as possible and keep looking. Once you turn on Comanche Creek rd, the brewery is a mile or so up a dirt road. This is a private ranch that houses a brewery, so once on the right path, you are basically on this family’s property… Just takes a but to get to the brewery. Call because hours are odd and can change. I think you can find the beer at local bars but it’s worth the effort to come to the source.
