Jos A Bank Outlet Store

Impressed with the customer service we received and with how tidy the store is. Due to the great selection and a helpful sales associate, my husband and I left feeling very satisfied with a bag full of new clothes.

Have stopped into this store on 3 separate occasions, and had horrid customer service. I’ve also witnessed the racism/​stereotyping another reviewer mentioned. It’s very blatant and an uncomfortable shopping experience. Skip this store and head to Edina or Woodbury.

I would like to consider myself a very fashion forward male and have shooed at JoS A Banks many times. In all my years as an executive in customer service, never have I had such a horrible experience as I did here on 3… yes 3 occasions and unfortunately all were handled by the Manager — David!!! On the 1^st occasion, I asked for a simple new suit and told my size 41Regular and the manager looked at me and said out loud well «sir, you are certainly not a Regular but for sure… a short… given your proportions and the fact that you have ample room around the waist area.» Not only was I so floored and embarrassed, he also managed to say this out loud in front of several customers. After he pointed (and didn’t walk me over to the area) I had to ask him for further help and without even looking at the suits he just said, «we are NOT going to have what you are looking for so you might as well just head to the Full Line store. He didn’t even look at their inventory and while I was waiting I observed him twice be out right rude to 2 groups of Somalians and after they left, I heard him say «those people are so frustrating because they just want a deal and never buy, the worst kind of customer.» Never in my 25 years have I heard such horrible behavior. Not only is the manager out right a biggot, but he has no use for helping anyone find what they need and will insult customers given the chance. I would highly NOT recommend this store and I have already followed up with the US employment department group called OCEA to further investigate such prejudice behavior. If the manager had done his job and actually treated me with even an inkling of respect, he would he learned that I am one of JoS A Banks top customers in MN and I know this because I regularly shop at the… yes wait for it… The Full Line store. I unfortunately am not sure that I want to continue to shop at a store that hires someone who is prejudice and discriminates against groups of people due to their race and weight. This store is absolutely the reason that America still harbors sad and illogical human behaviors who abuse their power and spread hate. I wish anyone that has the same experience as mine and I have already heard of 2 after colleagues of mine went into this exact store and said they too had such a horrible experience with David the manager, to please write about their experiences so people like this aren’t in a position of power. Distasteful and Shameful.
