Luke warm experience with the Race Director(RD) or whomever is behind the management of their Gmail address. [After a search on LinkedIn, it looks like it’s a two-person org; the owner and an assistant]. Customer service isn’t their thing. I had asked for a refund on a race(weeks before the race, shortly after registering) after catching the error. My only delay in not catching it sooner was that the registration email didn’t mention the race, short of a shorthand abbreviation which I didn’t catch. I politely apologized and asked for a refund and, after several quick responses, they simply decided to stop responding — no explanation, no refund, no apology, no mention of the policy… nothing. I’ll keep trying and update my review if anything changes but as it stands, I’ll certainly avoid their races in the future on policy alone.
