University Commons is a great place to live!!! The staff is amazing and it’s located very close to Duke campus and the duke campus bus systems. There is also a pool and small gym. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone in the durham area!

A suitable place to live while in grad school. The buildings are old which comes with a few small annoyances like outdated radiators to heat the apartments and nails sticking out of the floor. Besides that though, the staff is nice and helpful, the location is good, the grounds are pretty. Their gym is small but that’s fine with me because I have membership at another gym. The pool is nice. Parking is somewhat limited as the lot around the back fills up at times, but there’s street parking available for overflow. Prices are reasonable and water is included in the rent, which is nice. In my unit, the kitchen appliances are new, which is a nice plus. Also, the windows at University Apartments (but not University Commons) are really big, which makes the apartments nice and light.
