I have been going to Tonya Redd for a quarterly .5 hour massage for 9.5 years now. Love the atmosphere, the professionalism, her style of practice, and the price! You must try this place or you are missing out. Take it from a repeat :-)

Jennifer is fantastic!
I have been facials with Jennifer for the past 6 months or so and I’m very pleased. Started with a a livingsocial deal and I keep coming back. It’s always risky to purchase these kinds of deals for beauty services and I’ve had my share of bad experiences, but this time it was a win.
She is very knowledgeable and can explain the science behind what’s going on with your skin. She seems to be genuinely concerned about the health of her clients’ skin, which I appreciate. It also helps that she’s very friendly and a great conversationalist.

UPDATE: got the ends of my hair dyed purple by Natalie, and it was great. We had to bleach it first, which took a while but worked very well. She put in the dye and it took a while before it took but looks great. She did accidentally get a spot on the top if my head with the bleach which is a bit unsightly, but she got it out fast and covered it up with dye, so now it is just a dark red-​brown color. The dye faded after about a month to a less appealing lavender-​pink-​grey color. The whole trim/​bleach/​dye job cost me $ 90 which I found a but much but the purple was great. Going back to get the purple touched up soon, and with just the dye it is $ 25. Overall, 4 stars, docking off a star for the fade color and the cost. Natalie is very friendly, and know the good balance between chatting and letting me chill and read.

I had an hour-​long massage at the body café. After waiting about 15 minutes after my massage was supposed to start because they had to go buy more massage lotion, the massage was mediocre at best. She spent most of her time powdering my skin rather than massaging my muscles. It was plenty relaxing, but not what I would consider a massage.

Monica and all of the lovely ladies at the Body Café are great. I had my eye brows waxed here, as well as getting an amazing pedicure. It’s a really relaxing spot to get some much needed pampering done, and their online appointment maker is super convenient.

I am loving this spa! I was looking for a relaxing place to get a pedicure and massage. I had tried lots of places here in Durham and was never completely satisfied. Today I saw an offer on Groupon and thought I would call and check them out. It was almost 12 when I called reqesting a pedicure and massage. The friendly staff actually found me a spot at 1pm! Everyone was super friendly but also in tune with what I needed; calm, quiet relaxation. My massage therapist, Tanya was great and gave me one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. I plan on returning as often as my budget will support and bringing my friends.

I’m surprised to see just 1 review for The Body Café.
I’ve visited the spa innumerable times during past 2 years for facials (sometimes with peels, sometimes without) and even gifted my mom a facial here when she was visiting me.
GREAT facials by Monica Couch (and everyone else is very welcoming).

I totally recommend the relaxing facials at this spa. calm and soothing environment, great products, awesome staff!

I work next door to the Body Café and never have had the time to go in, until today. These ladies are so fantastic. The peaceful mood is set by the Mediterranean wall color and gold accents. The young woman at the desk is incredibly helpful and there is water AND coffee (oh yes this is a plus). I had a facial this trip, which was done by Monica. She did a really fantastic job. It was incredibly thorough and yet relaxing. I don’t know of many technicians who actually schedule more than an hour for a standard facial and don’t just scoot you out of the door at the end. I was really pleased with the prices and service rendered ($ 80 included EVERTHING you could think of). I will come back really soon
