I was given a nasty, luke warm cup of coffee. The cup had a nasty, huge stain on it.

Th drive thru is efficient, helpful, and pleasant. Love the large table for group work. The drinks are consistent with other Starbucks, and that’s much better than the local Starbucks in Harris Teeters in the area. The staff has a good attitude. The only issue with this location is if you park during the rush hours, you may never be able to leave your parking spot.

Always busy so drive thru can bog down. I’ve only used the drive thru. Staff is friendly as well. Gives me my iced mocha latte fix. I get it half pumps so not so sweet. It’s Starbucks so it’s consistent

VERYNICEVENUE… The folks here are always very nice and accommodating. Plenty of room for seating inside and out. I mean, it’s really spacious here. WiFi is decent and the music played within and throughout is always a good mix of genre’s(right now, I’m listening to an old hit ‘Enjoy the Silence’ by Depeche Mode… earlier it was a song ‘Ex-Factor’ by Lauryn Hill). A little mood music never hurts when studying or researching a paper while sipping on a strong cup of coffee(to stay awake of couse).

Nice place. The couple of times i went there, The coffee is too bitter for my taste. The internet is very slow. The staff is friendly. They are too busy to empty the trash and clean the tables from dirty customers.

Its Starbucks… so of course the review is going to be great. The employees are extra happy to serve you. It seems like they love their job and they have only gotten my order wrong once… Great Service, Great food, no messed up drinks:)

Not the best designed Starbuck’s I have been too. The parking situation is horrible if you really want to get out and walk in. During peak rush hour times. the car lines are long and they block you in. Guess people just don’t want to add steps in their life like I do.

I ordered a small decaf coffee at 3:11 pm yesterday. I finally got it at 3:47. I am a private tutor and I often meet my students at Barnes & Noble. I get the café routine. I don’t like to make my living at someone else’s business without«paying my dues» and buying something at the café. Yesterday I decided to meet my student at this Starbucks because it’s not dinky tiny like the other ones; I can actually find a place to sit. Yesterday when I went, there was no line, and I walked up to the counter and waited for one of 3 people back there to notice me. That took a few minutes. I’m used to the decaf taking some time, because of whatever weird process they use to make decaf, so I wasn’t bothered when they told me it’d take 5 or 10 minutes. I sat down and waited. I listened, and watched the counter politely, I was sitting right in front of it so I couldn’t miss much. After 15 minutes, and about 23 mochaccino frappuccinos had come through the pipes, I started really watching that counter. It was empty. After 20 or 25 minutes I finally went up there and saw a mysterious cup on the counter. I wanted to ask if that was mine(I hadn’t heard anyone announce my decaf like they had announced the frapuccinos) but I had to call out for the lady to pay attention to me. I dunno why she thought I’d be standing there if I didn’t need something. So I asked if that was my decaf and she said yes. I took it to the condiment station and noticed there were 3 unlabeled jugs of… well I hope some kind of creamer. Usually they are labeled Half & Half, 2% Milk, Skim, etc. Not here. WTF. But it didn’t matter because when I pulled off the lid, my coffee was cold. Not actually cold, but I could stick my entire hand in the coffee and be comfortable. It was not hot. There’s no way that cup was only sitting there on the counter for 5 minutes. They must have poured it long ago and only just remembered to put it out. So I took it back, and again I had to speak up to get some attention even when I was right in front of the lady. There was a young man standing there too, with his back to me, swinging his arms around uselessly and doing absolutely nothing. I don’t think he ever knew I was there. I asked for the lady to microwave it, because it was cold. She said they didn’t have a microwave(??!) but she could make me another. I said fine. She said it would be another 5 to 10 minutes. Stab me in the nostril. I stood right by the counter this time. I don’t like when other customers are pushy or make a scene of themselves, and I didn’t like hovering over the one guy sitting by the counter working on his laptop. But you know, it had already been half an hour since I’d ordered my freaking coffee. So I stood there. A different lady finally came with a cup, «Did you order the tall pourover?» What is a pourover? I was like, «I don’t know what that means.» Then she had to explain to me the process of how they make decaf coffee at Starbucks. Doesn’t she realize I don’t care? She’s the one who took my order 30 minutes ago, for Christ’s sake! We finally established that this was my decaf. I figured it probably had spit in it, but at least it was hot, which would kill the bacteria in their saliva. I took it to the condiment station and poured whatever white stuff came out of the first jug I grabbed. I think it was Half & Half. I realize now why so many Starbucks customers are rude and bratty. They have to be, or they won’t get what they want. I’ve never had such terrible service at Barnes & Noble. They always look me in the eye, listen to what I want, and make sure I get what I paid for. In the future, I don’t think I can feel bad if I don’t buy something when I visit this Starbucks to tutor. The whole ordeal was a distraction from what I was trying to do: help a student with her schoolwork. The whole point of a café is to be a place where folks can relax and to get something done. But I just spent half an hour fighting tooth and nail to get my few dollars’ worth of semi-quality product. Not impressed, guys.

Super early morning trip back home-home & I needed coffee ASAP. Thanks to trusty road signs, I saw a Starbucks on my route & thanks to the Starbucks app, it’s a drive-thru location. It’s a little ways off 85& situated in front of a shopping center. For 7AM on the morning, on a Saturday, I was shocked they were busy. When I got to the order speaker, there were five cars ahead of me. We creeped through the line. The lady on the speaker was the normal, cheery voice I’m accustomed to. When I got to the window, a pleasant barista greeted me. My venti skinny caramel macchiato was hot & delicious. We all know Starbucks pricing. ;) But there is ample parking for customers.

Pretty good place to come enjoy some coffee/tea and sit down to study or hangout. There are enough seating areas with 4 long tables and quite a few smaller tables. There is also outside seating if the weather permits ^^ fresh air is always a plus :) the staff is quick to make your drink and they are awesome! Nice atmosphere for studying away from the library if you are like me who can’t study in complete silence.

This is a great Starbucks for studying! It’s huge with a few large tables and plenty of other little tables… I like to spread my stuff out! Free WiFi is always a plus and I like the music choices they play while I study. There is also some outside seating if you prefer that!

This is one of my favorite Starbucks, hands down. So spacious, plenty of tables and couches. The staff there is always super friendly. Even though it’s kind of Starbucks’ specialty that if the drink is not perfect, they’ll remake it for you, when I found coffee grinds at the bottom of my coffee, they were super nice, apologized, and remade it.

Where do I begin? It confounds me what the draw of Starbucks is. I’ve never had a cup of coffee at any of them that didn’t taste like burnt mud. Normally I avoid them like the plague. I happened to be given two gift cards over the last several months. Why I didn’t just pass them onto to one of their devoted followers, I don’t know. Anyway, I came in for just a regular cup of iced coffee, decaf iced, that is. I was told they don’t do iced decaf. Really? How hard can that be. I’ve gotten it at other places. The closest they could get is a decaf Caffe Americano. I should have known better when I heard the word espresso, just a deeper burnt mud flavor. When I was served the coffee there were a few ice cubes floating on top and the plastic cup was warm. I was like, where’s the ice in my iced coffee? They added a few more cubes. Sorry, but it was rancid. I was headed to Bruegger’s for a bagel and asked for a glass of ice there and poured my coffee over it. Now it was more tolerable. I realize one has to develop a taste for European coffee’s, but if one just wants regular old fashioned coffee, at least for me, this is not the place. Plus, I refuse to order the size I want in Italian. Please, I’m over the fancy schmancy fru-fru 30 something sub-culture that has risen to the top and become an unwelcome overplayed norm in our society. I look forward to the day when everything old becomes new again, like a good old fashioned cup of coffee. Could coffee shops springing up everywhere serving old timey perked coffee in a diner mug become the new«in» thing? Sounds good to me!

This is my go to Starbucks in Durham. They always have the friendliest barristas. This Starbucks has some of the best customer service of any store I’ve ever been in.

Customer service really stinks here. And it is getting worse. The women in the front is cold and rude. And I think she may be even be the one in charge. Today, the person who replenishes the condiments came by when I was pouring my sugar into my coffee and just start cleaning the table. She would slip in and out around me without saying a word. And then she has the audacity to ask me to move so she could get to the drawers where I was standing. Can she not wait? Where is politeness and courtesy? This store particular has exhibit this kind of behavior that needs to stop. I come here only because it close by my office. I wish there are other options. Someone open a shop to give SB competition please ! gets worse. In past I have suggested to management

This is one of my favorite Starbucks anywhere(and god knows I’ve been to tons, including in Europe). The baristas are very good, there’s plenty of places to sit and lots of plugs. Also an eclectic crowd, which I appreciate. Only downside is getting out to 55. They need to redo the parking area.

This is by far the biggest Starbucks I have been too! I have been coming here to study for over 2 years now! The music is a little too loud… but I always bring my own earbuds to listen to pandora. There is always somewhere to sit, the only problem is finding an outlet. The staff here are AWESOME! Always friendly, VERYQUICK(even when its PACKED) and will fix any mistake or wrong order with a smile! I have tried many other Starbucks locations and this one will remain my favorite spot to come to study!

Stopped in this Starbucks for a caffeine refuel after landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on our way to Winston-Salem. Dopio espresso Machiatto was strong and hit the spot. Just what the brain cells needed! There is a lot of seating inside this location!

I think I’m partially writing this review in hopes of someone giving me the names & addresses of any local, independent coffee shops in the area! Starbucks isn’t my first choice in my hot chocolate obsession, but as a work traveller, Starbucks is almost always easy to find. Working on this side of RTP when travelling, I can’t beat its location. The folks are friendly & tolerate my non-Fretalian ordering(I want a small hot chocolate with no whipped cream — you can call it a tall no whip hot choc if you wish). Even when the line is long it goes pretty quickly. And they never forget my receipt for my expense report. Plus I’m a sucker for the holidays and the return of peppermint hot chocolate. Much better than regular hot chocolate.
