Great gluten free pizza — good vegan too — gotta ask. Super fresh. Fast delivery too.

This food is just not good at all. I ordered delivery and if you’re wondering what it’s like, it’s seriously cafeteria food; relatively bad, generic food that you eat because you’re hungry and it’s temptingly convenient. The pizza isn’t *terrible*, but it’s definitely not good. Delivery is okay, it came quickly! Only took about 25 minutes, although I’m pretty close-by. Oh yeah, they forgot my drink too. Arg.

I really wanted to like the pizza but it just wasn’t good. We ordered my favorite, a white pizza and not only was it cold, and I mean not even close to being warm, it was flavorless and bland. Maybe their other food is good, but I can’t throw away another $ 20 to find out whether or not it is.

Very fresh, very prompt delivery. Excited to find a reliable pizza restaurant that delivers so quickly.

This pizza is pretty darn good. I have had the pizza Margherita, regular cheese and pepperoni– all of them were pretty good. The pizza Margherita is my favorite so far. Looking forward to trying more.

The pasta is terrible. I love Italian food so much. But the meat sauce was bland and I didn’t want to eat it. The salad has nothing on it and isn’t worth eating. The Alfredo has no flavor. The fried zucchini was 90% fried batter. I really wanted to like this place but I’m mad I paid over $ 20 for delivery. If you have any decent standards for Italian food, this is not your place.

Love this place stopped after the Duke game and had some delicious pizza. We re from Chicago area and this was a great treat and the guys were very nice there!!! the pizza had a nuce amount of cheese, crust was tasty and we put jalapeño petals on the top of our pizza… maybe they’ll make a pizza like that soon!!!

Good pizza, tasty, cheap, reliable, nothing particularly special. Have never tried delivery, but don’t need to because it’s so close.

The pizza was hot and fresh, as well as the lasagna. One thing I wish they did have was an online menu or site. We had to go there and order take out because we didn’t really know the menu.

Wow. I am shocked this place has good reviews. Last night I called to order a Stromboli and mozzarella sticks. Super simple right? Wrong. I called and the man could barely speak English. He kept saying I was ordering a pepperoni pizza. It took 9 minutes to place the order. Seconds later another man called me back to confirm the order, because the other man had messed it up. That man was great and super polite. They said it would take 20 minutes. Wrong again, it took 50 minutes. When I got it it was 18 $… For a SMALL Stromboli(7.50) and the appetizer mozzarella sticks. At that point I didn’t agree, I just wanted to eat. BUT I couldn’t eat it because it was so terrible. Barely any cheese(when I asked for extra), ham, pepperoni and then barely cooked onions and peppers. It was foul. THEN the mozzarella sticks were soggy. I am so disappointed and will never be back!!!

I ordered dinner for myself and my two kids. Decent meal, about $ 30, gave an up-front 10% tip on the purchase at the register even though they aren’t waiters. After eating our food my youngest was still hungry and so I attempted to order a single slice for him. A slice was $ 2. «$ 4 minimum credit card purchase.» I had no cash. Didn’t seem to matter I just spent $ 30 or the restaurant was empty. These minimums used to be illegal. The merchant had a choice. They chose to be complete jerks and never have me return. They can stay empty as far as I’m concerned and I’d like that 10% back.

A really good pizza place! I’ve ordered 3 times and 2 out of the 3 were were prefect experiences. The first was a bit off(smushed toppings from too much weight being on top of the pizza box), but I’m glad I gave it another try. The delivery never takes longer than 30 minutes and the pizza is really delicious. If you like New York style be sure to choose the round pizza options. The square 15×15 is a Sicilian style which is a super thick-spongy crust. The topping have always been fresh, and you can tell they use really good mozzarella. Using pre-shredded processed cheese is a huge pet peeve of mine. Enjoy!

Living in south Durham near RTP, there aren’t a lot of pizza delivery options. I was looking for a sub, and unfortunately we were out of their delivery range. So we ordered for pickup. It was ready in fewer than 20 minutes. We were able to order online from their website. That process was smooth and appreciated. The pizza was New York style that you will see in a lot of places. Wasn’t bad. The sub was one of the better Italian subs I’ve had in Durham. This parking lot can be hell to get in and out of on a busy night. We were lucky to find someone leaving a spot as we were coming in.

A Yankee in North Carolina. Order a pizza, and it conjured up memories of NYC pizza. A nice crunch to the crust, a great balance of topping cheese and sauce. flavorful balance. friendly staff.

Just ordered delivery. Got calamari appetizer, pizza, and cannoli for dessert. It’s an order that turned out to be like the good, the bad, and the ugly. First the good. The pizza was actually quite delicious and enjoyable. Well above average I’d say. The bad. The calamari was greasy, rubbery, and pretty much un-enjoyable. It was at least edible, but that’s all that I can praise of it. The ugly. The cannoli was just simply horrible. It was nearly impossible to cut into it even to split it in half. But I shouldn’t have bothered as the«cream» on the inside was like very cheap, very sweat cupcake topping. Not at all light, fluffy or appetizing. I took a second bite to give it a fair shake and then ended up tossing it all in the trash. So to sum it up I’d consider Pizza Mia for a repeat pizza order based on the tastiness of the pie. But I think I’d give a miss to anything else on the menu.

I haven’t actually tried their pizza but I have tried the spaghetti and Philly steak and they were both very good. The Philly steak was well stuffed. The spaghetti also came in a large portion. I never finish either and always have leftovers. They were both served super hot. The spaghetti also comes with a side salad so it really is more than enough food. I would say the spaghetti could be shared among three people. They offer tiramisu and cannoli for dessert. They’re both pretty good. It’s also great that they deliver. It didn’t take long at all for the food to arrive and it was all very nicely packaged and separated. The staff are always very nice. I would recommend trying Pizza Mia especially if you’re looking for a late dinner delivery.

We still haven’t found our go-to pizza place in Durham, so we decided to try Pizza Mia as they were close by and had solid Unilocal reviews. I ordered the Caprice Salad with oil and vinegar dressing and it was excellent! My husband ordered a white pizza with tomatoes, spinach, and mushrooms. The pizza was pretty good, but not mind blowing. We’ll probably be back to try their subs, order a salad, or pizza by the slice. The staff was quite friendly and they do offer a gluten free pizza crust, they also offer delivery. Give them a try!

«Cheap, tasty pizza right off Duke’s west campus» Under new management, the former«Brooklyn Pizzeria» on Erwin Road has re-opened in much the same style. They currently boast a $ 5.99 lunch special for 2 slices of pizza(one-topping) and a drink. System is straightforward– walk in, order your pizza, they fix it, you pay, you help yourself to a drink at the soda fountain, and they drop the pizzas off at your table(or hand it to you if you’re still standing there). Pizza is New York style– thin, crunchy crust, light on sauce. If you ask for some toppings that weren’t already on pizzas sitting out(only ones ready were plain cheese & variations with pepperoni), they toss some of that topping on top of a cheese pizza and stick the slices in the oven for a short while. I had spinach and mushroom. The product was good– slices were quite big and folded nicely to eat. Toppings were generous in quantity. My pizzas were somewhat surprisingly«wet», but that may have been from the spinach(which was kept in the refrigerator before being put on the pizza and apparently in a bowl with water or something). Also had the calzone here– again, really good(albeit with more ricotta cheese than I’d prefer), and a good deal for $ 7.99 coming with 4 toppings and a good size. They also have a kids menu, too. I probably wouldn’t get the main dishes, though– over $ 11 for chicken or eggplant parmigiana is a bit on the steep side, especially when you can get those for less from Durham Pizza and other places around. Service was friendly… someone who I assume to be a manager came by our table and asked if we were happy with our pizzas. Place is clean overall. I confess I’m not a pizza fanatic, but I have to say I’m a fan– low price for a lunch, convenient location, and good product.
