Say what you will about authenticity and quality, but Changs gets five stars from me for consistency and the ability to serve me gluten free food. In fact, their dedicated gluten free section of the menu contains many of their best dishes, including their signature lettuce wraps, fried rice and Singapore street noodles. As with any better-dining chain, or any chain for that matter, consistency is the key. I’ve never had a bad dish at any PF Changs. I’ve had a couple carryout snafus. I’ve learned to be patient and to check my order. Their online ordering platform works well, but it helps frame your expectations if you understand that you’re ordering from some central corporate dispatch center which then assigns your order to your local store. The website allows you to order from your history which saves time, and you can do a fair amount of customization, but again, check your order at the store. The one thing that has never happened to me, and the thing that matters most, is that I’ve never gotten sick. Asian food is pretty easy to prepare gluten free, but it isn’t always easy to find an Asian restaurant where I can communicate clearly the need to protect my food from contamination. I trust this restaurants processes.

I like this PF Chang’s and have been going here for years. Unfortunately it’s gone from good to great but it’s still good. I’m grateful to always get great service at the bar when Sean and/or Brandon are working.

It’s a bad start at lunchtime when there’s a 20 minute wait for a table on a Wednesday, which is not good when one’s allotted lunch time is limited to an hour, and the drive is 10 minutes from the office. Okay, that’s not the restaurant’s fault, and I’m considering that in this review. The service after being seated was SLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW, as was the time it took for our food to be prepared/brought out and drinks to be refilled. Food — Korean stir fry BBQ Chicken was pretty good albeit not very spicy. Was hoping for some kick. The place actually seems rather small for a PF Chang’s. This one wasn’t bad, but it doesn’t rank up there as great(like the one in Tyson’s Corners, VA) either.

Dinner with friends and good food. We had a nice meal here and good service. I had the peanut cashew chicken and always love it. I also had the orange whiskey sour. I think that was the name. Also very good. Everyone had a good time and good food. We’ll be back.

It was me and my boyfriends first time here and we went with a group for a family birthday. As soon as you walk in the waiting area was so small I couldn’t believe it, it felt so packed I didn’t know where to stand. The hostess seemed a bit snobby when we asked where our party was seated she said she didn’t have anyone there by that name which wasn’t accurate. We finally got that figured out and were sat at the«captains table» which happens to be behind the bar and directly in front if the kitchen. a very awkward place for a table to be, it was a bit noisy and there was a lot going on. We could see directly into the kitchen and not a single person was wearing gloves which I found very disturbing. The rating already wasn’t very high so I wasn’t very thrilled. my meal came out fine it was okay the dynamite shrimp and egg drop soup was great! But I wasn’t too fond of my kung-pou chicken. I probably won’t attend this place again. It’s not my cup of tea.

This was one of the best tasting experiences I have had at this restaurant! I have always hated how they would intro something new and it was mediocre or would taste different every time we came. I had the Hong Kong Sea Bass as an entrée. Initially, it was«cool» and rubbery. Sent it back and the manager was determined to make it right, supervising the repeat prep carefully The fresh one was EXCELLENT. Perfect veggie stir fry with asparagus to complement it. I requested chile pepper sauce and the flavor went through the roof! Pros: they are not afraid to change the menu, the sea bass was great, ambiance — good number of kids but not too loud Cons; Took a little while for the food to come(hence the cold bass) I will come again and get the bass!

We had lunch here on a very rainy afternoon. Our server was great. I ask her what she recommended and her suggestions were all winners. She was attentive to our needs and did a great job. The food was also very good. We started with a California roll. That wasabi was STRONG !!! I loved it !! My entrée was the Korean BBQ chicken with brown rice. It was spicy(just as the waitress described). Very tasty. My daughter had the chicken lettuce wraps and she also enjoyed her food. It was a great lunch. We would definitely go there again.

I don’t usually gush about a chain restaurant, but our lunch at P.F. Chang’s was delicious. We ordered the crispy honey chicken, Ahi Tartare, a California roll and a lobster-avocado roll. When we ordered, our server told us that since their sushi is hand-rolled to order, it may take longer. Um, I expect it is rolled to order! We did wait a bit for food, and finally three of the dishes arrived at the table with apologies. The fourth dish– the California roll– my daughter had made a special request and I imagine the kitchen did not do it and the server caught it before it was served. Regardless, about five minutes later the manager brought the California roll over, apologized profusely for the wait and took it off our bill. What a pleasant surprise. The Ahi Tartare was wonderful. It was a big scoop of ahi tuna on top of sliced avocado with fried won ton chips. It was silky and full of flavor. The lobster-avocado roll too was really good. The curry aioli was a nice change and really enhanced the roll. The honey chicken was really a sweet and sour chicken and my daughter enjoyed it. Overall, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, service was attentive and the funky, fusion menu is a nice change from our typical sushi spot. We will definitely go back.

First time at PF Changs was unfortunately a disappointment. Me and my gf both got the Changs spicy chicken with Lo mien and white rice. The chicken was okay a bit more sweet than spicy. Lo Mien was good no complaints. They brought us brown rice instead of white and said they ran out of white rice. For rice being the main thing that accompanies their main entrees I find it ridiculous that they«ran out» of white rice. The brown rice was dry and seemed under cooked. Not to mention we waited about 45+ minutes for the food to arrive. I paid $ 60+ for food me and my gf didn’t enjoy. We expected so much better honestly. Our waiter was nice and the inside is beautiful But the food was below par. I don’t think I’d come here again.

The food was awesome as usual. We live an hour away and make it a point to eat here every time we are in town. This time we had an awesome server. Maybe the best I’ve ever experienced, a really nice Hispanic guy I wish I could remember his name. But really good experience all around. Again!

Dropped my and picked up a Singapore Noodle. Was somewhat disappointed — noodles quite tough and lacking in flavor. Chicken & shrimp were OK but would have liked to have seen some chinese BBQ pork in there was well.

Very disappointed in my take out order tonight from PF Chang’s. I generally like PF Chang’s, although I don’t venture here much since really it’s just overpriced Chinese food and I like trying more authentic places better. Tonight I called for a take out order and was put on hold for about 4 minutes until someone finally picked up to take my order. I had been craving soup all day and just wanted a mix of egg drop and wonton soup, which most Chinese restaurants usually do. They checked with the manager who said they could easily do half egg drop half wonton bowl of soup. When I picked up my order the soup was laying down sideways in a bag with nothing else in it. I had to ask for to go silverware and napkins, which I felt should have automatically been provided in a take out order bag. When I got home, I was disappointed when I opened up my soup. There were no wontons in it even though they said they were doing half wonton soup. I did see what looked like one little piece of the outside of a wonton, so maybe they tried? This was very disappointing. So, you would think they just gave me egg drop but the soup didn’t even have much egg pieces in it. Seems like they mixed the broth but then gave me no wontons and there was less egg. The carrots in the soup tasted mushy like they’ve been sitting in there for a while. The flavor just wasn’t there either. Especially since I was craving soup all day, I was very unhappy with my order here. At least the soup was hot.

Yes, P.F. Chang’s is a chain restaurant. But it’s a good one! As long as you are okay with that I’m sure you’ll love the food and have a great experience. It may seem pricey but if you go into it realizing that the portions are big and meant for sharing, it’s a pretty moderately priced restaurant. My boyfriend and I went to the Durham location today for dinner and had amazing service. Our server, Brooke, was so attentive but not in the«leave me alone and let me eat» kind of way. I was genuinely impressed with how great of a server she was from beginning to end –bringing us extra lettuce in case we needed it for our lettuce wraps, replacing my drink before it was half way empty, and offering us drinks in to go cups for the ride home, just to give some examples. Food was great and there wasn’t any delay in bringing it out.

Tasteless, bland, and overpriced. Typical chain restaurant that has been around so long it has run its course and compromised quality for quantity. On the bright side, huge portions and good, friendly service.

I have come to love PF Changs. There are definitely menu items that are better than others and now that I’ve found some delicious ones, I love coming here! My advice: Sit at the bar and get appetizers and a drink. The appetizers(tuna tataki, ahi tatare, lettuce wraps, etc.) are amazing. The Asian pear mojito is also great. I tried the lemongrass chicken salad and enjoyed it. In the past, I would come here with a big group of friends, sitting at the tables in the darker, loud parts of the restaurants but I like the bar much more.(You can get orders in quickly and easily.) Back then I’d order orange chicken and those sorts of dishes and be disappointed because it was overpriced Chinese takeout. Skip that, eat the appetizers.

I think I owe this restaurant a review. I came here alone for lunch today prior to a big meeting. I was seated in a little nook away from most folks, when I am alone this is a serious bonus point. Yay! The downside of this area is that I was forgotten about. After I was seated, I didn’t see another worker for at least 20 minutes. No water, no acknowledgement. Finally I was noticed and a waiter was sent over. He asked if I had decided and when I replied that I had decided a long while ago everything changed. This restaurant went above and beyond service. First my appetizer and drink were immediately served. I had also requested an item that was not on the menu. The chef made it for me anyway. Next, I was attened too in abundance. The manager served me a dessert on the house. I was also given a coupon for a free appetizer on my next visit. Each time the waiter or manager apologized. The food as always was good. My special request was wonderful. I truly appreciated the the energy to rectify the misstep. I will be back. Thank you

PF Chang’s is your easy«I’m craving asian food but don’t know where to go» place. It’s also the easiest option when you have family in town having that craving and can’t think of where to take them. Luckily, it’s always delicious to me. Their egg rolls and wraps have always been my favorites. The wonton and egg drop soups are also easy go to choices. I do like that they serve Pad Thai, hadn’t seen that option in their before. The restaurant is nice with lots of statues replicating the Chinese dynasties, but of course PF Chang’s is a chain so you’ll that in each restaurant. But when you want Chinese food, and don’t wanna risk a small hole in the wall place, in the middle of nowhere that risks tasting like bland mush, PF Chang’s doesn’t disappoint.

I liked it. Came for a late lunch and had no crowds to deal with. Server did great refilling beverages, and food was excellent. I’m a fan of fries rice, and it was up to snuff. My husband is fairly snobby and typically doesn’t like chains, but hey Chinese food is Chinese food. And I’m Asian. I like PF Changs on occasion, but for some reason I still think I’d prefer to go to a Chinese restaurant that is less«Americanized.» Personal preference, of course. Nothing wrong with this place. We ordered chicken fried rice and orange chicken(things we were craving over the last few days), and it definitely hit the spot. The fried rice was done really well, and the orange chicken packed a ton of sweet and tangy flavor. Definitely left feeling satiated, and the price was fair as well.

My first time in the busy Shops at Southpoint area and here we are on a busy summer Friday night. My boo was taking me out for a belated birthday dinner and we decided to go here. While the parking lot was packed, we were pleasantly surprised that at around 7PM, we were able to be seated right away and there were no other customers waiting. Highlights: Our waiter, Isaiah, was nice enough. He seemed very stern and serious. He checked on us several times throughout the meal and was never overbearing. Odd that boo ordered fried rice, for his rice choice(up charge) and Isaiah came back later and said it wasn’t available. However, my meal was shrimp fried rice and that wasn’t an issue. We were perplexed with this. Isaiah brought us some crunchy fried noodles and sweet and sour sauce as a «sorry for the inconvenience.» I would much rather had free chicken lettuce wraps. ;) Wait time between ordering our food and receiving it was around 10 – 15 minutes. Receiving our check and waiting for the receipt didn’t take long either. Restaurant was clean. Other notes: My shrimp fried was pretty good. The shrimp were a decent size. They’re constantly offering limited time dishes, drinks and such, which I think is a fantastic idea.
