Liv’s had Cajun food the night we tried them for the first time. My husband got red beans and rice. I got Chicken Jambalaya. Both were very good well seasoned dishes. The jambalaya was a little dried out but still very good. The red beans and rice was very good and even had bacon! The only problem was our bowls were small for the price of $ 8. I was done in 5 spoonfuls! Plus no bread with it? I thought it would have been more realistic to charge $ 5 for that size without bread.

I had a good experience here. I got the Asian pork tacos which I thought were delicious but could have used some siracha. 3 large tacos made it pretty filling. I tried to get the wife a chicken tinga quesadilla but they ran out. I got her the chili cheese burger which I thought was great and it surprisingly came with tater tots(nothing else came with a side). The chili was very good and used more of a beef pot roast meat than ground beef. According to my vegetarian(currently) daughter the black bean wrap was really good. My only gripe was that it was slow which was intensified by the fact that it was freezing and I was wearing short sleeves. They also took my order for the tinga quesadilla and later found they ran out but let me pick a more expensive item with no extra charge.

OMG! Short rib burger. Wow! Delish! Bacon marmalade! A damn fine burger. Pulled pork sliders, also very good. Tasty tater tots. Awesome service! Thanks for being at the NCGLFF!

I WISH I would’ve known that there are food trucks on Unilocal. In that case, I would have NOT eaten here. I stopped here during the DTR Food truck Rodeo in May. I got there pretty early and the line was not long. I asked the cashier how long it would take for a Short Rib burger and corn nuggets, and after asking the cook, she told me it would be 10 minutes. Great. HOWEVER, it took 25 minutes to get my food. Am I exaggerating, you ask? I wish. I know the exact time b/c I texted my sister after I ordered that I would be 10 minutes. 25 minutes later, she had finished her food from another truck and came soaring to my rescue. She unleashed her Gemini wrath on the cooks and only then did my order magically appear. After all that drama, I was banking on the food being dreamy like the food truck meals on Food Network and the Cooking Channel. NOT. The burger was dry. I think they forgot about it on the grill for the entire 25 minutes I was waiting. Not to mention, I thought it was going to be a burger w/short ribs on top and it was just a regular ground-beef-like burger. The aioli in the description was also missing in action. When I bit into the corn nuggets they were raw in the inside! I was eating wet batter and corn. Disgusting. ONTOPOFITALL, I spent $ 14 on a dry burger and raw corn nuggets that took $ 25 minutes to make. You’ve been warned! *wags finger*

Stood on line at 1:53 pm Placed an order for a rib burger and a diet coke. Waited patiently and Watched people who came after me get their orders. Heard the female cashier mention the pending rib burger to the cook several times. After almost 20 minutes waiting I found out my order was not started. Meanwhile my wife finished her meal already. I asked to reverse the charge on my debit card, the cashier then told me it take 10 minutes to cook the burger. Implying this is my fault for not continuing to wait. Now until this point I had no issue even though she got my order wrong initially. Charging me $ 14 instead of $ 11. I figured it was all a misunderstanding. But I then got a text from the bank being charged $ 14 and no food. Again she acted like this was my fault. I then asked if she was sure the charges were all reversed both the $ 14 and $ 11. She then got defensive. I decided to be the better person and just walk away then call the bank that’s when I heard the cashier shout you’re welcome! I then called the bank which confirmed the $ 14 charge was NOT reversed.

First off, the prices are steep. If this food truck was in the presence of others(like at a food truck rodeo), I would have passed this joint in 5 seconds after glancing at the prices. However, my boyfriend and I had time to kill before a DPAC show and were hungry, so we decided to give this place a try. I only had $ 20 on me, so my choices were limited. I ended up ordering a Grilled Marinated Steak Tip Wrap, which came out to $ 10.21 after tax(it’s advertised at $ 9.50). I would’ve added a small order of fries, but $ 4 is ridiculous for that size… Taste-wise, the wrap was just aight. I didn’t taste much of the marinade in the small amount of steak pieces, and it tasted like any old Greek wrap. If I’m paying $ 9.50 for an item from a food truck, I expect it to be pretty darn tasty. As for service, it sucked. The guys running the truck were stern and super unfriendly. Definitely won’t be back.

Should have read the other reviews before ordering. My co-workers got the steak tip wrap and fries and really enjoyed it. My chicken wrap, on the other hand, sucked and was wayyyy overpriced. The chicken pieces were small and dry. The prices posted on their menu don’t include tax. So a $ 7.50 sandwich becomes an $ 8 sandwich at the window. Why not just post prices that include tax like every other normal food truck?

3.5 stars. The menu is primarily grilled wraps, with a delicious-sounding blue crab burger and some salads tossed in; fries sold separately. Looking for something light, I ordered the white bean hummus wrap, which is hummus mounded into a warm pita, and topped with goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, and roasted red pepper. For what it was, I thought the $ 7 price point was a touch high. Hubby ordered the steak tip wrap, $ 1 more, and had lots of marinated, tender meat in his. Definitely the better value!

I on the other hand was completely smitten by the Maryland Blue Crab Burger. Nice and thick loose crabmeat patty with Old Bay aioli, adding spinach and tomato and kosher dill slices, all in a brioche bun. I almost swallow the whole burger without any sort of manner until I realized I was under public’s eyes. I did feel weird when I place the order. The big guy just look at me in a stern manner. No greeting and no emotion. Maybe he’s just one of those naturally un-jolly chef LOL! P. S. Check out Alivia’s website for the food truck. You can actually place your order and checkout on the website and pick it up at the truck. Just make sure you know where the truck is first!
