Lena’s Lunchbox

After months of tall tales and delicious stories from my friends around Durham, I finally decided to try out Lena’s Lunchbox and her incredible cakes for myself. Lena goes out of her way to get you your order, even if you’re giving short notice. The cakes are presented and styled beautifully, with the option of any customization to fit your needs. Durham has its own cake boss, and it’s a 16 year old girl! Most importantly, the cakes are absolutely delicious! So far I’ve tried the Dark Chocolate Orange cake. The center was moist and with just the right density. The flavors were rich, and the light creamy orange frosting did not overpower the rest of the cake. Beautiful presentation, and she had it to me the morning after I ordered it!
