Veggie burger is great BUT it is very expensive for food court food and it always takes way too long to get the food.

My husband got excited when he saw a nearby restaurant offering a veggie burger other than Burger King’s terrible excuse for a burger. Wayback’s «very veggie» burger was actually really good, a crispy brown rice burger with cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard. I added pickles to mine and my husband got his with mushroom. We will definitely be back for another burger. I want to like this place, but there were a few draw backs. It took close to ten minutes to place our order because they seemed to be short staffed and our cashier had to start cooking the food for the people who ordered ahead of us. Relatedly, our meal took longer than I expect for a quick-service burger place to prepare. Our cashier was apologetic, but the process still took 45 minutes. The meal was also a but more than I expected. Our burgers were about $ 5 and to make your meal a combo(drink and fries or onion rings) it’s about $ 3 more. Still quite a bit cheaper than Red Robin or BurgerFi, but not quite drive thru priced. All in all, I had a generally positive experience and I will be back when I’m craving a veggie burger but don’t want to spend $ 35 at Red Robin.

Two stars for the soda machine, zero for the food and service. Great soda dispenser. Mediocre burger and fries, wait staff is often slow on the uptake, unhelpful, and takes forever to help you. Major disappointment I was so much hoping to like it.

«Decent but pricey burgers at Northgate Mall» Recently opened in the Northgate Mall food court is this popular burger place. The biggest draw for people in the food court seems to be their big touchscreen soda dispenser, which can also mix sodas, so you can get, for example, a vanilla cherry coke(as my daughter did). Besides burgers, they also have hot dogs, veggie or turkey burgers, and many milkshakes(this month’s special was an «eggnog» milkshake). The«Jake’s Burger» is a double-burger of two small patties, and costs $ 4.69(just the sandwich). Pluses: + Burgers made fresh + LOTS of free topping choices, including standards but also grilled onions, jalapeños, cole slaw, BBQ sauce + Bun is very light and fluffy + Turkey burger quite tasty + Malt vinegar available for fries + Cool touchscreen soda machine + Friendly service Minuses: — Beef burgers about the same quality as Wendy’s(though round) — High cost– burger not cheap and add $ 3.19 for smallest combo??? — Since burgers made fresh, not especially fast for fast food– may wait 5 – 10 min — Fries unimpressive Synopsis: Decent place for the variety of toppings available and an OK burger(though«just» OK). Definitely not in the same league as CookOut(which has far better burgers for a far lower price), so probably not worth driving out to get this. But it’s a decent spot to get something maybe a little more interesting than a Burger King combo if you’re at the mall already– just be prepared to pay more than you think you should. Honestly, I think I’d prefer Cajun Café or something else, though. 2 – 3 star border– I’ll round up given the soda combos, topping variety, and the good turkey burger.
