Diva Nails

I normally come here to get my nails done. It’s a hit or miss at times. The last time it was a miss and today I have waited 2 hours now. I won’t be back. If I hadn’t just got in the seat I would be looking else where to go! They truly need to learn how to get people in the chair in the order they came!!!

I came on a Sunday afternoon & the place was PACKED. I sat for 30 minutes – it was the only salon near my apartment open. A girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do! Going to a new nail salon is always scary. I’ve suffered chemical burns a few times from nail techs with old primer. I’ve also been cut by one tipsy tech’s nail drill.
After the wait, a young lady sat me in Vinny’s (if I heard his name correctly) chair. I was a little wary; everyone doesn’t know how to do coffin shaped nails. He assured me it was no great task. I also told him about my chemical woes in the past. I should have trusted him from the beginning. Vinny did a GREAT job! The shape was executed flawlessly, and the primer never irritated me. If you stop by, be sure to book an appointment with him. He’s an older gentleman with glasses. I’ll definitely be back.

This is definitely a no frills nail establishment perfect for the woman that wants a job well done without having to sit in a salon all day.
After complementing a coworker of mine on her nails for their neatness and shape, she told me where she went. I am nail junkie (been wearing «fake nails» of all shapes, lengths and colors for the last 13 years) so I more specifically asked for the technicians name. She recommended Twan and Tony, stating that they were both good. The following Friday I phoned the shop at 3pm for a 6pm appointment with either of the two, Tony was able to fit me in his schedule.
GPS directed me to the location after work and upon my arrival I was reminded of home (Los Angeles– the real LA not Bev Hills or Hollywood). The shop wasn’t fancy, their wasn’t a ton of colors to choose from but it was packed! To me, packed means good.
My pedi was quick but no parts of the process were skipped. The technician scrubbed the heck out of my feet, cleaning off callus like no other. I wish I remembered his name. Oh and as I my pedi was going down I picked through several gel polish swatch cards for the perfect red hue. I went with Heateave by Perfect Match. After my pedi, Tony signaled me to his desk for my gel fill in. He was polite but not overly talkative and meticulous with my nails. The shape and neatness turned out amazing and he did it so quickly! Expectations exceeded… Job well done Diva Nails!

Always busy. Okay quality and pretty efficient on getting you in and out. Always like to go to the either one of the three guys in the front they do a pretty good job. Very busy place though.

AWFUL! This was hands down the WORST manicure experience I have ever had. I had to file my own nails becuase the woman did such a poor job. The entire manicure took less than 15 minutes. You get better service with just a polish change at other salons. STAY AWAY! Also the lady spent the entire time trying to upsell me a gel manicure, which I declined 4 times.

Went here today to get my eyebrows done. When the lady was finished with my eyebrows and I looked in the mirror there were stray hairs everywhere. I asked her to please finish plucking the stray hairs and she argued that she couldn’t so I told her that if she wouldnt I would. She gave me the tweezers and left the room. I proceeded to finish plucking the stray hairs. As I was paying I told the cashier how I was not happy with the service because I had to do half the work myself and she did not care at all. Extremely poor customer service!

Based on my first review and the outcome of my 2^nd time (to fix my first experience), I’m still not pleased with the quality of work.

I get my French tips done here. Not many people come here for Pink and Whites, but they do a great job. It’s reasonably priced compared to most area salons. It takes about an hour and a quarter but its worth it for nails that dont lift!
