This Bojangles is consistently very slow. There doesn’t appear to be any reason for this slowness. The lines inside and outside are always long. Accessing the restaurant is a major hazard and hassle, as the entrance is at a major intersection that always has traffic. And the exit drive and parking lot aren’t large enough for a safe turn around to get to the drive thru. On occasion they will also mix up orders. The last time I came here for breakfast I asked for a steak biscuit and received a tomato and cheese biscuit. How one makes that large of a mistake is beyond me. But usually when I come here for dinner, my meal is correct.

The wife and I have never eaten at a Bojangles’s before. Didn’t even know what they served, so decided to give it a try. I had four pieces of chicken, mash potato’s and the«free» ice tea. The wife had the 4 piece supreme dinner, French fires and a Mt. Dew. The chicken was good just a little to much batter on it. To crispy. The wife disliked the very salty French fries. I don’t care for sweet ice tea. When it says ice tea I figured it was just iced tea. Not sweet tea. The wife likes it, once done with her Mt. Dew she went and got some«free» sweet ice tea. I just added more ice in mine, hoping to water it down more. We have decided we more in likely will never eat at another Bojangles again. It was okay, but plenty of better places to eat out there.

OK, let me start by saying that I have long been a fan of Bojangles Fried Chicken and Biscuits. I love them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bojangles was the one chain restaurant I missed most when I moved to the west coast and the first place I went when I moved back last year. However, I do not usually eat at this location. I went here today though and it was one of the best Bojangles experiences I’ve had. The only complaint that I had was that the service behind the counter was a bit slow as they really prioritized the drive through traffic. Now on to the food. The chicken was just about perfect. It was very crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. It was also slightly spicier than I normally get from Bojangles which I liked immensely. The fries were perfect. A lot of times Bojangles under cooks and over salts their fries but today they were perfectly crispy without being crunchy. They also didn’t triple load the salt like I often see. My girlfriend’s grilled chicken salad was also beautiful. Not a wilted veggie in the bowl and very tasty. Two hints about Bojangles. 1 I always like to get the chicken dinners because you get free sweet tea. 2 They expect you to leave your tray and garbage on your table so they know which table to clean right away. At the time I wrote this they had a health department score of 99 and seem to consistently score high. Here is their inspection report.

Pretty good friend chicken with decent sides. Avoid the fries though — they are just really salty and soggy. To be honest, when I’m in the mood for fast food, I’d choose to go up to Hillsborough road and hit up the Cook-Out that is there every time.

great food — thats the important part. However, the seating is a bit outdated, uncomfortable and could use some warm soap and water occasionally in the seating area.

The chicken is very good. Before now my fav. Fried chicken was poppeyes. I love the hint of spice, and sometimes you get a piece that will make your Lips burn a bit. Yummm. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars is the customer service is really lacking and more times then not, they screw up your order. Plus they are not very friendly, from the drive thru they just throw you your food and don’t say a word. On the other hand its fast food. They are not working for tips, but getting my order right would be nice.

Ahh… moving back to the South from California. I missed my deep fried chicken, okra, fish, or anything else I can get my hands on. :) In all seriousness though, I enjoy Bojangles. For fast food joints, I can’t really comment on the taste of things, as it is pretty standard and I have to admit… I don’t mind it all. My wife is the one with the refined palate. Me, if it is cooked. I will inhale it so fast that taste is long forgotten about. Just being honest. So finally to the rating. I give Bojangles 4 stars for the quality of service that I have experienced at this store. Always quick and give me a smile as I order. I know… I’m easy! Leaving the drive through line is a bit tricky here. there is a traffic light as soon as you exit to the street. So it can get backed up. Traffic flow isn’t the best.

My friend and I had just gotten back from an early-morning trip and we stopped here for lunch. I ordered a sausage biscuit, a cajun chicken biscuit, and a drink. When I got to the end of the line, they wouldn’t give me any honey mustard sauce, saying that I would have to pay extra for it. I tried to pay the guy for the sauce, but he said that I would have to go back and wait in line all over again. I can understand a restaurant wanting to charge for extra sauce, but I would have thought they would have given me a couple of packets with my meal, or at least asked if I wanted it before I paid. Disappointing.
