Bernard’s is a very classy little place on 9^th Street. I came here to buy some white gloves for servers at work, and was impressed by the manly dark wood and mirrors all throughout the store. If I were a guy and needed a tux, I’d go to Bernard’s. I’m pretty sure they have gowns (prom/homecoming style) also available, but didn’t see any out.
The clerk behind the counter (maybe the owner?) was very welcoming and after learning I worked for Duke gave me a 10% discount! So not only did I score some great gloves, I also scored points with the boss for saving that extra $ 1.20. Every penny counts people.
Did you know that you can now rent camouflage tuxedos for prom? There are also matching dresses. I learned this while flipping through a catalogue. Due to this discovery, I now have a new acronym: OITS. As in, «Only in the South.»
