One of the reasons I decided to move here is because the apartment I was moving to had newly renovated and located above the model. After only 8 months, I’m leaving. My concern is lack of safety, noise and sanitation. One time, someone was checking to see if my door was locked by turning my door knob. I reported this to management and was told that it was probably someone thinking it was their home and to get a home alarm. About a month later, there was a note on my door that there was a recent break-in. When I asked management about it, they downplayed it by saying it was someone the person knew. About two months ago, a person moved out at 2am. Yes, 2am. I called the police because they were making so much noise and the police came out and told them to «hurry up». Since living here for just 8 months, I called the police on 3 different occasions. The other time was because there were 3 cars loitering by the pool around 11pm playing extremely loud music. The other time was when someone was checking to see if my door was unlocked. There is only one dumpster and it stinks very bad; especially in the summer. My neighbors around me are quiet, but the loud music coming from cars as they enter and exit the property is nerve racking. So loud my pictures shake on my wall. This is at all time of the day or night. One particular person leaves between 4−5am every morning and every morning I’m awakened by the loud music thumping from his car. Management did put notes on everyone’s door asking that people not loiter with loud music and to be considerate of others. This helped just a little and the last time I complained, management said there really isn’t anything that can be done. Bottom line is my experience is VERY different from those posted here. Maybe at the time they lived here it was managed by a different company, I don’t know. All I know is right now, it is nothing like what the other people wrote. I am sorry I have to go through the expense of moving so soon, but for my own safety, peace of mind and to be able to live in a community of reasonable quietness; I have to move.
