Man I forget how much I miss these big Walmart Super Centers until I go into one. I mean Walmart is Walmart, but the Super Centers has a legit grocery store attached to it. They really get the good stuff too. I mean when you are visiting it’s not like you can grocery shop, but as I was looking for some Oj I noticed they had«honey butter». I have never seen that in any grocery store, or maybe they do have it and I just never noticed. Nonetheless, Walmart Super Centers rock!

It’s a Wal-Mart. It has one of the more attractive appearances on the out side I have seen at a Wal-Mart, everything else is on par with what you would expect.

It’s Walmart so it has everything. To the point where you get LOST. I hate how they are always moving things/sections around so even when I think I know where I am going everything is in a different place –__– But not going to lie you can pretty much find anything here. Except for pomegranates, i have no idea why they didn’t have any. Checking out sucks. There are never enough checkers working and the line for self-check out is usually long… But this place is good because you can get a lot of different things at one location.

I only go to Walmart if I have to, because we don’t have a Target store in Durango. The only good thing is most of the stuff is pretty cheap. There always seems to be a long line to check out, and the self-checkout never seems to work.

Very tourist unfriendly, no overnight parking in their huge lot. Otherwise you’re standard Wallyworld

Best thing about this WalMart is the Blimpie sub shop in the front of the store. Otherwise it is standard WalMart, nuf said.

Overall customer service at Wal mart– Durango is great. Today was different! I’d been to the Cust. Svc Dept to send a Money Gram overseas. As usual, the customer service was great. I got home, couldn’t find my receipt for it(which is as good as cash for money pick up) and called Wal mart customer service. One dept picked up and transferred me, after quite some time, another dept picked up, transferred me again; this went on for 3, what felt like, long ringing intervals and 3 transfers. Finally, Customer Service picked up. I explained the situation and believed I’d left the valuable receipt there. The CUSTOMERSERVICE Dept told me that everyone in C.S. was at dinner and to call back later! I asked the gal to please look around and she said she didn’t know where to start… again she told me to call back later! Great Job Wal Mart Customer Service!!!

Wal-Mart — the auto center — gets 1 star. Those guys couldn’t even change my oil because they didn’t have the right filter. They told me to go to Napa, by the filter, and bring it to them so they could change it. Then they don’t put the oil cap back on, so when I get home I notice a burning smell, and there is a nasty oily mess all over my engine. Way to go, boners. Wal-Mart — the store — gets 3 stars. The employees are always helpful and friendly. Even the folks stocking at 11:00 pm are polite and ready to help if I need it.

As a blanket statement, I hate Wal-Mart. However, I hate this one the most. It was manageable until they revamped it and made it more confusing and tackier instead of making it better. Fact: it has the highest concentration of tourists in the entire town of Durango. Which makes it even harder to stomach going there when all you want is a little uncrowded peace and quiet while shopping. Fact: I would rather go to Farmington and shop in their Wal-Mart. And that’s saying a lot.
