Spring Break road trip with a pit stop in Durango… Unilocal led us to RGP’s and the BESTSANDWICHEVER! A bit of a hybrid with fry bread and the best combo of ingredients leave me dreaming about my next road trip through Durango! I had the Southwestern, my son had the BLT and Hubby had the Gyro. All yummy!!! Jen and the crew are the bomb!

Fast friendly service. We really liked the cheap prices, especially for Durango. It has a nice laid back informal atmosphere. Overall, a nice little lunch spot.

This place is incredible. The owners are helpful and happy. I ate the Superman sandwich — delicious! Will go back whenever I’m in town.

Incredible wraps. We split the Superman. The homemade flatbread was an ideal combo — soft but grilled achieving a subtle crisp. Assembly of roasted chicken, bacon, feta, tomatoes etc was done with care — full attention to detail style. It’s not rocket science but too many places don’t get it right. I hate wraps that are over stuffed(making them impossible to eat ie: they break) and when ingredients are piled high but not blended. Not the case here. RPG’s nails it. Each bite is blended to perfection … And they don’t overdo it on the dressing. There’s no real atmosphere(it’s in a mall) but with food this solid it doesn’t matter. I’d rather enjoy what I’m eating than focus on décor. So if you want a sure thing food wise — fresh, healthy, made with focus and intent — GOHERE. As a side note, the staff is top tier. I’m in Austin where service isn’t top of mind to say the least. The gentleman working the register was PROACTIVE in explaining the menu — top picks here… We make our bread fresh… You can sub anything you want… You two will be fine splitting a sandwich… The guy manning the grill was appreciative of my feedback.(I told them we were first timers and loved the wrap)… Net: It’s exactly the kind of service you wish existed everywhere but doesn’t. Full props and thanks. This will be a staple anytime I’m in Durango. Enjoy Unilocal peeps!

Superman chicken pesto was out of this world! The couple who own the place talked with me for a long time, answering all my questions and recommending things to do. This meant a lot cause I am new to the area. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

WoW! This town is amazing! This is our SECOND amazing meal. These guys make their bread wrap and then grill?/Toast? And they are wet & juicy! It’s inside this funky mall with Ashley furniture. We had the two popular wraps: Superman & Jen & Chris. One with turkey 1 with chicken. Both equally amazing! Unfortunately we live in San Diego :-((

These guys are LEGIT! A good friend of mine is a student at Fort Lewis, and he ‘forced’ me into eating here. They keep strange hours…11−3, and only accept cash, but that’s not really that big of an issue. I ordered the standard gryo, but their menu had tons of other options. The walls here are adorned with cycling memorabilia because, well, Durango is a super bike friendly town, and from what I hear they are really good friends w/Todd Wells – which is pretty cool. The food tasted great and the owners were super accommodating. This place was a highlight for me on the trip out to CO!

Pros: Awesome Food — delicious, creative, and fresh! Great Service — always upbeat and polite! Both are consistent. Cons: very wasteful. Disposable everything(plates, forks, cups) — even when you dine in. Still use styrofoam containers. Be sure to check this place out. Great little hidden restaurant. Just wish they would be a little more eco aware. I’d gladly pay a little more for my delicious food to avoid disposable dishes and polystyrene.

RGP’s is a spot I have to hit at least once every time I go home to Durango. It’s a bit hard to find if your from out of town, located inside the downtown Durango mall(not like your average mall, big building on Main Street with a few shops). But once you find this place it’s worth every mouth watering bite. It gets a bit backed up around lunchtime, but trust me it’s worth the wait!

This place was outstanding! We were skeptical cause we don’t really like tortilla wraps but the handmade flat-bread-like wraps, all grilled and warm and fresh… ahhhh! It was to die for! I had the Reuben and it was my Favorite. In our group we had the Reuben, the superman, the southwest, and the chicken pesto. Rueben was our favorite, then southwest then superman. Oh boy! They were so flavorful and big portions and coleslaw was great too! Super friendly service! I would recommend this little place FORSURE& will come back next time we visit Durango. Just delicious!

We very much enjoyed the friendly staff and food. Though I have negligible negatives, I can’t say I would rate it 5 stars. Positives: Tasty, warm and delicious flavor combinations. Super helpful staff. Food arrived quickly. Negatives: Cash only and food was on the messy side. We are definitely glad we tried them out! Husband had the southwest turkey wrap(it was a bit too spicy for me) and I had the chicken pesto panini(or ‘pananay’ as the cashier called it :-).

This place doesn’t look like much but the food is delicious. Me and my friend each ordered a different wrap(superman and the Chris and Jen) so we could try both. The flavor combo was awesome and the bread was/is great it was toasted to perfection. My favorite was the superman. This is a must in Durango.

While living in Durango,(which seems like ages ago), this was my go-to lunch spot! Make no mistake, the wraps here are OUTSTANDING! The Southwest Turkey wrap is by far one of the tastiest sandwiches/wraps I’ve ever had in my life! This is also a husband and wife owned business. As I recall, the restaurant was always clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating with each visit! The ONLY downside is they don’t take credit cards. Being that it’s 2014 and many of us don’t always carry cash, I think this is a must in today’s world. I understand they’re a small business and they don’t want to pay the fees, but I know for a fact there were times I didn’t go there because I didn’t have cash on me. I’m sure the same is true for others as well. Not sure which is worse, losing business or paying credit card fees… Regardless, I highly recommend this place for a quick and tasty lunch!(Make sure to bring cash)

RGP’s has some darn good wraps. My mom was raving about RGP’s and I was a bit skeptical because I came here a couple times when I was in high school and I wasn’t that impressed. However I have totally changed my mind because these wraps are DELICIOUS. The restaurant is located in the old main mall in a little corner, so it fills up fast. There are not that many tables inside but a lot of people take their food to go. I ordered the turkey wrap with no cheese and with greek dressing. Each wrap comes with either chips or coleslaw which is legit so I got the slaw =) We had a big order which meant we had to wait awhile, but my mom said they take forever in general so be prepared to wait a bit. It’s worth it though! The wraps are giant and they taste great! My turkey was amazing, especially with the greek dressing on it. The coleslaw is delicious as well, I ate the entire container haha Parking can be a bit difficult and as I mentioned before seating is limited but the food is good, portions are big and the staff is friendly.

I am amazed I hadn’t tried this place before today. It was awesome. I had the Cajun Wrap with a side of cole slaw. Wow! The wrap is so crisp and the filling is fresh and full of flavor! The slaw was sweet and satisfied. This is a great place to grab a quick, cheap, and satisfying lunch. No frills dining. Pleasant service that is prompt. You cannot lose.
