Food is made by a true chef! Ingredients are fresh and herbs are picked right in front of you. I could tell from his hospitality and food that Michel has a passion for serving people. We had savory and sweet crepes, and EVERYTHING was fantastic!

Lovely little crêpe stand– shady outdoor seating, amazing food, and super puppy friendly. Good for vegetarians and omnivores alike because while he was a little wary of our specialty order, he put special care into making it and added extras that made it even better!

Michel was kind, welcoming and happy to keep the pace slow enough to visit. His food is incredible. We had both savory and sweet options and were delighted. Do not miss this gem when in Durango!

A wonderful must visit! Michel’s crepes are amazing and he is so wonderful the entire experience is fantastic. We visited twice in four days and tried 9 crepes between the four of us. When you go to Durango Michel’s Corner is reason enough for the trip.

I tried the smoked salmon and the lemon cream, and both were exceptional. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in his work.

Best crepes anywhere! I had the chicken and wild mushroom that left me drooling! Michel is very welcoming and has an amazing little layout on the corner in downtown Durango that is warm and inviting complete with a flower garden and fountain.

Michel’s crepes are the best you will find outside of France(and maybe in France, too). He is super sweet and accommodating – our 16 month old can eat like a horse and Michel made a crêpe that was appropriate for him(including a price adjustment) without us requesting it. Also, his patio is lovely and authentic with beautiful flowers and a fountain. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!

We wanted to come last night but it was closed when we got here. It was so worth coming back this morning. Crepes are delicious and Michel is so kind.

Best crepes I’ve ever had. Michel, the chef, is quite the character, generous to a fault. We ordered two different wines and since the bottle had about a quarter left he gave us the bottles! I had the Salmon which was amazing. My wife had the ham and Brie and apple that was very tasty. Kids had two others that were also good. Loved this place!

Best crepes I’ve ever had! I mean it, not kidding. We visit Durango once a year from California to ski and always missed this little gem on the corner on College/Main st. First time trying, chicken mole crêpe was amazing, fillings/crêpe/melted cheese all blend in perfectly together and we went back for seconds after only 2 hours. Michel is amazing as well, he’s not only a chef but an artist, every crêpe he makes is an artwork itself. We will definitely come back year after year. PS Apple ciders-a must to go with your crepes.

So glad that we had the chance to stop by here before catching a flight back to Austin. Michel is the nicest man, and his crepes were all so delicious! He’ll even customize the crêpe filling to your liking. The apple spice cider was really good too! If you’re ever in Durango, you must stop by Michel’s Corner!

Amazing gourmet dining experience from a corner«food cart». Michel is kind and funny, everything is fresh and high quality, the flowers and patio are gorgeous, and the prices are very reasonable. What’s not to love? Can’t wait to go back to Durango to try more of Michel’s creations.

Michel Poumay has the perfect formula for this downtown corner. Sweet or savory crepes. $ 8 or $ 10 each. All served to order from a charming cart. Wine also available. Michel’s garden is beautiful between outdoor tables with umbrellas and French country tablecloths. My apple cinnamon crêpe was delicious. Savory crepes are topped with edible nasturtium. Ooolala!

Wow. Delicious. I have been waiting to try this place for a long time. The hours are short, 10 – 3:30, but worth it. The tomato, basil and mozzarella crêpe was fantastic. The patio and service were great too.

We had the savory crepes– spinach feta and ham Gruyère tomato. The truck is surrounded by big pots of healthy herbs that he uses in his cooking. Delightful and delicious!

Michel is such an awesome chef, and his crepes are pretty good! Michel used to own a really fancy French restaurant here in Durango, but unfortunately it is no longer around. Thankfully he is still cooking for the people of Durango, this time his specialty is the crêpe! His cute little cart is super convenient for lunch or a snack, and the seating area is beautifully surrounded by an array of flowers. My family and I ordered a bunch of different crepes, both sweet and savory. I have to recommend the savory ones(even though I love sweet) because they tasted better. I had the spinach, egg and feta which was pretty good but there could have been a bit more egg. My parents had the turkey with green chili which was really tasty; I’d probably order that next time. We also shared the apple cinnamon sweet crêpe which was okay, but the texture of the crêpe was very doughy and a bit too much. Check this place out for a snack, you can grab a table and people watch, or just enjoy the beauty of downtown Durango =)
