OUTSTANDING!
Look, there are TONSSSS of Massage Therapists in this town, and I have been to a LOT of them. But I wasn’t happy with any of them lately (my good one moved).
So I tried Shera.
She is AWESOME. And I am super picky about massages.
I’ve had a lot of surgeries, have all kinds of weird stuff going on with my bod– and SHE MADE ME FEEL FABULOUS! If I could justify seeing her DAILY, I WOULD!
Without a doubt, she’s the best in town from my experience!
UPDATE– I’m BEYOND DISAPPOINTED that Shera has moved to Durango:(. I have never found ANYONE as good at massage as her. She gave my old, achy, scar tissues body HUGE RELIEF.
You lucky bastards in Durango get her now — CONGRATS

When I really need a massage, I call Shera first. Her massage is great for athletes and at the same time she knows how to ‘hold-​space’ so you can cry your eyes out. I would recommend Massage Intervention to anyone, and I do. I carry her card with me all the time.

I have had two 90 min massages within 3 days and have another 60 minute massage scheduled for this coming monday. I guess that says alot about what I think of her skills. I went to her in conjunction with having acupuncture treatments for sciatic nerve pain affecting my lower back and right leg. She is very informative and thorough. you will get a very professional treatment by a very skilled provider.
After the first massage I was only marginally better immediately but by the second day I realized that I was able to move without as much pain. (20−30%) After the second massage almost immediate improvement. .another 20−30%. I will be getting a second acupuncture treatment on friday and another massage as I said on Monday and have every expectation of vast if not complete improvement.
I will be a regular whether it will be every two wks or more or less often… but I will be back!

Simply put, Shera is awesome! This was my first ever 90 minute massage, I highly recommend it for anyone that truly needs to get the knots out. She worked my muscles into submission, now I’m just a big lump on a couch. Every two weeks is my regular schedule with Shera now I think I will throw in a 90 minute massage ever so often. If you are looking for a great massage to help get your body back in shape you can’t go wrong here. I would give Massage Intervention 10 stars but this system only goes to five.

Shera was wonderful. I was gifted a massage by a very special friend and I was not really sure what to expect. Her space is soothing and very relaxing. You can tell every element in the room has been picked with special care and purpose. I loved her different use of aromatherapy oils at different times during the massage, yet none of them were overpowering or invasion. I am very senstive to smell and they were perfect and of course she asked first before using the any scents. The most important part however is the strengthen is her hands. She has a very soft touch, but there is so much power in her hands she just works out all the tension and pain in your muscles. Highly rated and she’s really sweet too!

I had suffered from a neck pain issue for a few months. Shera got in there and took care of it. After one massage I was able to move my neck more than I had in months without pain. Her studio is relaxing and her spirit is light and heartfelt which made the massage an overall great experience. Her years of experience show through. I would highly recommend her.

Shera offers a wonderful intuitive massage. She is professional, friendly and highly knowledgeable. She is respectful of needs for peace and quiet as well as feedback regarding pressure, heat, etc. Great massage. I would definitely recommend and will be back (hopefully next week :)).

I think the other reviewers use of the word «intuitive» is very accurate, Shera is that. She responds well to change in pressure requests, as I have some spots that require light pressure and others that require deep pressure. She has a lovely soul and you leave there feeling relaxed and energized on a deeper level. I really did feel that my mind was relaxed too when I left. I have a few favorite massage therapists in this area, and I can easily say Shera has moved to the top of my list.

as mentioned here, shera is for sure an amazing human being! she pours her immeasurable heart & soul into everything she does and that includes giving her clients the most «connected» of massages. she hears what you have to say about your wants & needs, and she «listens» to what your body tells her as she works. and yes too, the atmosphere is divine, contributing to a most relaxing, healing, regenerating experience of body work, heart & soul!
