I am a local and purchased my 1996 Honda Foreman from Handlebar new. I have always done my own service like changing oil etc. The battery on my Foreman went dead. I did my usual shade tree mechanics and determined it was the starter relay instead. I bought one online and tried to install it but after waiting a couple of weeks to get it my feeble old mind forgot which wire went where. It wouldn’t work properly. I took it in to handlebar with a new battery, starter relay out and what I thought was a fried wiring harness. The service manager found me in their data base-still! Then came out and said lets don’t unload it because it may be a minor fix. I was just going to drop it off and fully expected to pay a bunch of money a week later after they had corrected my mistake. After 15 minutes the mechanic, Lane came out, got on my trailer and fixed it in a matter of 10 minutes. They charged me nothing! Beat that anywhere?, they are awesome!

I’m a travel. 3000 miles into my trip I needed a chain adjustment. I called 4 places. Two in Glenwood Springs and two in Durango. The first told me it was a 10 min job and they could not fit me in. The second was a dirt bike store and would not do a street bike. The next again could not add a 10 minute job for someone on the rd. And then«Handlebars Motorsports». Immediately they agreed to help me. First class owner, service manager is top rate. This is the way a motorcycle shop should function! If I lived here I’d buy from them and use them for all my service needs.

Tom was very helpful with helping me figure out finance and getting the best deal. They mark up a lot of smaller things in the store but its local friendly and they don’t try to push you into a mistake. Over all a great little bike shop for Durango. Zak
