We stopped in tonight after seeing the good reviews and we were slightly disappointed. I ordered the bean burger and it was soggy and greasy. The BLT was good but TINY. The fries tasted good!

This place was amazing. My buddy and I spent 5 days backpacking and couldn’t wait to get back to civilization to grab a burger and beer. Perfect spot. Burger tasted great. Beer tasted great. Fries tasted great. Service was great. Can’t wait to go back to Durango so I can go eat at Grassburger again!

Durango hospitality shines through with the obvious game being played between the property owner and tenants(Grassfed). I was unlucky enough to be caught up in the parking fiasco. Needless to say I will never be back. Good luck!!!

This burger was decent. I like that they offer lettuce wrapped versions and that you can get a mixed order of sweet potato fries and hand cut regular fries. This works out great because dh doesn’t like sp fries and we didn’t want 2 full orders of fries. The tahini dressing for the salad was good too. The only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is because we are spoiled with Diablo Burger in Flagstaff, az, which are also grass fed, but thicker and they are cooked med rare.

Good burger but pricey. Ordered mine rare and got medium. Ate ut rather tan complaining. One irritation: raw onion is free on a burger but grilled onion costs $ 2. Wtf.

Burgers were cooked perfect the fries were awesome. Highly recommend. I will come back soon. Ice tea was horrible. I would think a restaurant with great food would have great tea.

Really good burgers, fries and shakes. I really wanted to have a shake and was going to get one because someone recommended it, even if it was going to kill me(I am lactose intolerant –I know… I know… TMI). To my surprise, there was a dairy free option. OMG! It was delicious! even my husband said it was better than his regular shake, which was still very good. The hamburgers were perfect, to say the least, and the fries were very crunchy. We got the mix(half potato fries, half sweet potato fries). One portion was enough for the two of us. I hope I can try it again whenever we come back to Durango. Worth the trip: D

Probably in my top 5 burgers of all time. So flavorful and delish. Not much else to say apart from this place is a MUST try!

We walked up to the counter to order and the guy at the register didn’t even acknowledge us. I had started saying what I wanted but stopped until he made eye contact with me. The wait wasn’t too bad and the burgers were pretty good. Not the best or the worst burger I’ve had. In-n-Out is way better.

Quite possibly top 5 burger of all time! GF buns are awesome. Grass fed beef patties are amaze-balls! Shoestring fries(potato and yam) were delish! The size of the servings, the atmosphere, the customer service, the prices and the gluten free Omission beer were are fantastic. We may find ourselves detouring through Durango to Moab again just for the fries!!! You gotta go. Period.

You can’t beat this hipster dive for burgers. Sure wish we had one of these in Az! It’s one of those places where you order at the counter then they call when it’s ready. They are very organized and you rarely wait long. Employees are nice and the burgers fantastic. What more can you ask?

Took the family to Colorado for spring break. Unilocaled for a dinner place nearby on our last night and this place sounded great. I’m a sucker for a great burger. Grassburger didn’t disappoint! It tasted like everything you’d expect from grass fed beef. Super good flavor. Cooked correctly. Fries tasted like fried potatoes with some salt on them like they’re supposed to be. Unlike a fast food frozen pile of fries. Even the ketchup contains no corn syrup. Soda was locally bottled and made with cane sugar. The kids didn’t say a word until they’d scarfed it down. The staff was super friendly and took the time to ask where we were from. From what we experienced it was what we’d hoped it would be.

Well I’m not a huge all natural guy but my wife is. Can’t keep her quite about how good the burger was! I’ll have to admit that it was a pretty darn good burger. How in a family of four I was the only one to order fries in a hamburger joint I don’t know. Especially since we all ate them. The local root beer was perfect to complete my meal. Great job! Didn’t hurt that the passers by on the street foretold of a great burger when they saw what our dining choice was.

Very disappointed! We first ate here last year and the place was delicious. We are here several times during our stay. What a difference a year made– and not for the better The good: gluten-free bun is still delicious. Not the best one I’ve had, but really good and not the usual dryness of a gf bun. Service was good. Not exceptional, but good. The bad: the burgers shrank!!! They used to be a good size and would fill you up. Not now. I am now reminded of a Wendy’s commercial: where’s the beef? My wife’s was smushed so thin, it was literally breaking apart inside her bun The ugly: that same burger was so overdone that it was crunchy when she ate it. I sent it back and when the redone burger arrived, the meat wasn’t burnt but was still falling apart and they forgot to put the cheese on it. Then when it was redone, they just threw a piece of cheese on the same sorry piece of meat and didn’t really completely melt it And the sweet potato fries were very overdone. We have been talking about this place for a year and now I don’t think we will be back again at all. Not enough value or good flavor for the money

We stopped on a whim while walking downtown and are happy we did. They are pure to their name and serve burgers and fries that are excellent! They even have a grilled cheese for my picky kid and he loved it. They have a kids play area and a patio for warm days. Great atmosphere too. Friendly staff.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was great! The restaurant definitely has an LA/sleek/cool vibe when you walk in which was surprising but also pretty legit. You order up front and can customize your burger with various toppings. I went with their normal burger with all the fixings :) They take your name instead of giving you a number so listen for your name! I loved how they had a little side section for water and self-serve ketchup and mustard. Okay so the vibe was cool and the burgers were yummy so why three stars? First, the lady taking our order was pretty surly and kind of cranky when we asked questions. Sorry lady, but this was our first time so we needed a bit more time to read the menu and make a decision. Second, our names were called relatively quickly but for some reason one of our burgers got lost so we had to wait longer than we would have liked for that to come up. My friend also had to go up to the counter to inquire as to where the burger was! Third, the fries weren’t that stellar. They were super thin and not very tasty so I’d stick to the burger. Overall the burger IS delicious, there is no lying about that. However it is quite small so you might be hungry if you don’t order fries along with it.

Went here on a recommendation. Lots of hyp about grass fed beef being better for you and the environment. This may be so but I am into taste. I like what tastes good. This is what I would call a trendy place. It is off Main Street behind two tour booths. When we went in we were ignored till the lady taking orders shot a glove off her hand. Then she was very friendly took our order which she got wrong. Supposed to had a lettuce wrap burger, got one on a bun. The burger was good. Thin reminded me of a smash burger. Tasted like a smash burger. Yes I would eat there again for a light meal. One burger is not enough if you are hungry and do not eat the bun.

Yep! Walked up and down the street. Ended back here. It’s a grass fed burger. Without the high$$$ price of a steak. I need the burger! This is a bit like«burger lounge» in Cali. This place is BIGGER and fancier. Me likely Gonna take it back to my hotel. Relax and eat! It is back off the street. Worth the find.
