I happened upon this great little shop in the downtown Durango historic district, after a needed refreshment stop and boredom with the tourist t-​shit type storefronts. This was different. Art glass, handmade jewelry of all sorts, handcrafted candlesticks and the like. I saw several things that appealed to me but were impractical for my current lifestyle.
And then I saw some «perfect for me» earrings, which my husband purchased as our jointly chosen anniversary gift. And in just the right price range for us, though there are also so many higher end items for sale here.
The saleswoman was helpful and friendly and knew everything about each artist represented. I love to find that kind of experience.

Walking down the main street in Durango the BF was indulging my shopping addiction. I wanted to walk into every store, I held back a little so I didn’t seem too crazy.
This is a cute little gallery with some art work and a nice jewelry collection. I slowly perused the entire selection. Everything from hand made earrings and necklaces to engagement rings. Pretty wide spectrum if you ask me. The woman (the owner I believe) was very chatty, if you ask me maybe a little more chatty then we liked. Sometimes you have to give people the opportunity to leave when they are standing with one foot out the door — take the hint and tell us to have a great day.
Everything else was beautifully presented and pretty high end. Good selection, it’s worth a pop by.
