After two bad dining experiences in a row at this location I decided to give them another chance mainly because it was my son’s birthday and this is where he wanted to go. We got there around 3:45 pm so we were seated right away. Placed our order and enjoyed the soup, salad and breadsticks while waiting on our entrees and waiting we did. After 45 minutes I asked the waitress if our meals were coming out anytime soon. There were tables who came in well after us that had already gotten their meals and we were still waiting. Finally the manager came over and apologized for the wait but, would not tell me what happened to cause the excessive wait. The food was OK at best. My son enjoyed his lobster ravioli and I enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo but my wife said the Mediterranean Flatbread was way too salty and the portion very small. The manager did comp the meal but the damage was done. I had much rather pay for the meal and have a pleasant dining experience. What should have been a nice birthday dinner for my son was ruined by terrible service. This makes the third time in a row that my family has had bad service at this Olive Garden. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

On January 15th, my friend and I dined at the Olive Garden located in Dunwoody at the Perimeter Village shopping center. To say the service was poor would be a complete understatement. We were seated immediately and our server came over to take our drink order. My friend ordered a raspberry tea, and when it was delivered to her, it was a peach raspberry tea with NO ice. Do drinks not come with ice now? After having to ask the device TWICE for ice and it still not being delivered, another server had to be asked for the ice. Our salad was delivered to the table without croutons. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Our entrees were delivered and we weren’t offered any additional cheese on top. No biggie. Didn’t really need the cheese anyway– it’s just the principle of the matter. A server who was«helping» our server out literally laughed out loud when we asked where our server was and told us she wasn’t sure where she was or when she would be back. She also mentioned that our server only had three tables, so she’s not sure why our server is so bad. Seriously? Are we really being told this? We then tried to leave the restaurant and God forbid we try to pay before leaving. We were told to use the kiosk that was on the table, which was fine. If only it worked. After waiting for several minutes for our server to return so we could ask for her to print out check, we get the lady who was helping our server to help us. She again says to us, «ya’ll still haven’t seen her?» ‘Her’ being the server. After finally saying I really would just like to leave and that this process is like trying to bond out of jail, finally we got the ball rolling and a check. When the server delivered my change back to the table, she set it down on the table as she was walking by and half-way apologized for the service being so bad. Oh– and instead of giving me 64 cents back in change, she gave me 90 cents. Poor math and poor service. I wonder how many times she has given Olive Garden’s money away? This is not the first time I have dined at this location and left disappointed; however, I can promise to whatever God you pray to, it is the last time I leave that location disappointed. You fooled me once, but you will not fool me again.

You can never go wrong with some classic Olive Garden spaghetti, soup, salad and breadsticks. We came in on a Saturday night around 8pm and forgot that the wait would be pretty substantial. There was a 30 minute wait for 2, but since it was so cold and not much else to do, we decided to wait it out. There were so many people waiting around so we figured it was a packed house tonight. When we were finally led to our table, boy, were we wrong. There were plenty of empty tables, so I don’t know what the hold up was. We ordered our food — I decided to order something non-pasta and off the lighter option menu. I ordered the tilapia and shrimp with string beans, while my sister ordered the build your own pasta. I got the unlimited salad, while my sister got soup. I honestly ate that whole serving bowl of salad. Guilty. So much for being healthy. A belly full of iceberg lettuce doesn’t do much for ya. But that salad is delicious. Must be that Olive Garden vinaigrette. The breadsticks were warm and free refill, as well! My tilapia and shrimp and with string beans were just normal. They were mighty expensive($ 15) for under 500 calories of food. I could have made it myself, given the proper resources. Overall, the food was standard Olive Garden. Just a bit miffed with the wait when there were plenty of tables and servers to go around.

So, just walked in to get a quick snack for dinner. Gentleman named Michael proceeded to seat us at a table and when we got there I politely asked him if we can seat at the booth that’s about 6 feet away from the initial table. He refused, stating that they are short on servers. I said: «the table is literally 6 feet away and I could almost touch it» yet he still refused. When I told him that this is really horrible costumer service he said there is nothing they can do haha… If I was a manager, Michael would not be working there any longer. Taking my $$$$ somewhere else, Peace out!

Very good place to dine. I’d like to give a special shout out to Nicholas and his managers who went over and above to make my experience pleasant when I visited last.

I work down the street close to the mall. Location is convenient. Called in order and picked it up for take out Never a problem. I ordered Chicken Marsala Ravioli and let me tell you it is rich and delicious. The sauce has to be made from wine, cream and Parmesean cheese. So so good.

We went there about 4pm on a weekday so it didn’t have many people, which was great. The food was very good, and of course the breadsticks were the best. The server didn’t bring refills for us so we had to ask for it. Their salad is pretty good and a good start. I like this place so I always come back there.

Horrible food and not so great service! We went in after a long time because we were craving pasta but as soon as we walked into the restaurant there was a weird smell up front(we should have known to leave right away) we stayed and ordered food but it was so unpleasant. We got sick after eating there. Will not come back ever. The computers they have at the table are useless! I don’t see the point of having these!

I dined in at the bar on this past Wednesday. I decided to try the lobster ravioli that are topped with shrimp and orange sauce. Now, I have been violently sick to my stomach since before I even paid for my tab. Don’t try it!

Extra, extra read all about it! CAN I LEAVENOSTARS? i just left this olive garden and had an itch to leave a review. the service was terrible. i ordered a beer, salad and asked for a side of marinara sauce. please tell me why a marinara«boat» as they call it was $ 4? i don’t understand. like literally for a scoop of sauce that cost a penny?! then, i thought to be proactive and pay for my meal on the iPad thing on the table. my card went thru and i got a receipt. please tell me why the waitress basically made me run my card again because she said my meal had been voided. i literally had to pull up my bank account in the freakin restaurant while the waitress was literally standing over my shoulder breathing down my neck. the whole thing was a debacle and i just figured it would be easier to just pay again and deal with the consequences later. thank goodness i left with a paper trail because im taking no prisoners! ZEROSTARS!

Party of 11 came for a friend’s birthday. Sat at 8, very slow service. I get that it’s Friday and prime time. Cool. Then these computers on the table. I guess we were suppose to pay with those? It’s easier? So, after the waitress prompts us to use them, they print receipts and tell us some checks have been voided. Asked to see a receipt where the transaction had been voided, and the manager could not provide one. Finally lurking over my shoulder while I’m filling out the tip amount on the receipt. Poor service. And utter confusion. Thanks for a great birthday.

I recently came for dinner because I had a weird craving for soup and the Zuppa Toscana popped up in my mind. Well, maybe not spontaneously. My cousins from CT were in town about a month ago and two of them work at Olive Garden near where they live and were talking about the place the whole weekend so suddenly, I felt this desire to go, after maybe 8 years of not eating at an Olive Garden. We stopped by around 8 or 9 pm on a weeknight and were quickly seated. The first thing I noticed was the stench of a dirty washrag that must have recently been swiped across my tabletop. I really dislike knowing that servers and buspeople are just wiping table after table without washing out the rag but this is the price you pay at times when you eat out. Well, when you eat out and aren’t dishing out the requisite money to ensure that unpleasant smells don’t reach your olfactory receptors. Anyway, garlic breadsticks came out and we barely touched these actually. I ripped off a piece to dip in my bowl of Pasta e fagioli soup, which was excellent but decided I would rather fill up my belly with soup than bread so I got a half bowl more before my fettuccine alfredo came out. I probably hadn’t eaten fettuccine alfredo for as long as I hadn’t been to OG or maybe even longer. I enjoyed it though I only had half the plate. Lately I’ve been wanting to eat strange food… Anyway, my dish came with another classic pasta dish to take home so I grabbed the spaghetti and meatballs and passed it to AT to bring along for lunch the next day. He had the Braised Beef & Tortelloni, which is what he says he always orders the rare times he eats at Olive Garden. He polished his plate entirely, so I guess that speaks volumes. You’ll get what you come to expect from Olive Garden here so whenever the craving hits, drop by and get unlimited breadsticks along with soup or salad and a huge pasta dish.

I would’ve given this three stars because our server was very nice, but my friend and I waited at the bar beforehand, and the bar tender was very rude. My friend ordered a beer, and when I ordered a coke, his face displayed his disapproval. Unfortunate for him. However, the table service was quick, pleasant, and as always — the salad was brilliant.

Will not EVER come to this particular establishment again. I’m really a fair person, and understand that when a restaurant is busy to expect to wait, but within the 20 minutes we were there, we were asked if a booth in the bar area would be ok, in which it was. The hostess left us and gave menus to another couple, and then motioned for us to come sit, BUT the table was dirty. Chaos errupted, glass was dropped and we decided to sit in the dining area at a table. There was no booths available, most being unclean. We sat there for about 15 minutes, watching waitresses pass us by, no acknowlegement, no water or drinks offered. We got up and left. Now we are at Carrabba’s within 5 minutes have our thirst quenched and eating zucchini fritte, all within 10 minutes of arriving. C’mon Olive Garden… step it up.

I haven’t eaten at an Olive Garden in at least 10 years. The place was nicely decorated with very friendly staff and great service. The food as good, but not what I expected at the price they are charging for it. Over all, not too bad.

So after more than a year, we have returned to this Olive Garden. The experience was even worse than the first. What a mistake. The nasty smell was present at the front reception area. The host was devoid of personality. I think everyone that works at this Olive Garden is just lazy. You people need to work out if you have such god awful energy problems. Our server, an eastern European girl, was low energy, lazy, slow, lackadaisical and boring. She was the poster child of 9% tips and why the customer should always be in control of the tip. The salad had awful cuts of lettuce, tomato and onion inside. It was like the salad prep person was just blindly chopping just to get a paycheck. Basically, I’ve had better salads on Cathay Pacific’s economy class. That’s no joke. The breadsticks were hard, old yet rubbery at the same time. How is that possible? Entrees were microwaved disasters that make Fazoli’s(Italian fast food chain) taste like supreme gourmet. The only reason they offer cheese is to hide the god awful taste of the entrée. This chain is a supreme and absolute insult to Italian food. I can only recommend this place to people that are fat slobs that enjoy eating just for the sake of stuffing their stomachs. It isn’t gourmet, it is not delicious and it sure as hell isn’t fresh. They should burn this place down and replace it with a bank or Chick Fil A. In the end, I was left with an upset stomach and a definite intent to initiate a charge back after contacting the manager. Yuck.

I attended the Unilocal Atlanta Elite event at the Olive Garden on Cobb Parkway and won some gift cards. Since I’ve patronized the Smyrna location and I’d never been to any other Olive Garden in Georgia, I decided to check out the Dunwoody location(where Unilocal OTP held their Elite event the following night) and use my gift cards here. Immediately, I was impressed at how much nicer, inside and out, this location is compared to the Smyrna location. Whereas the Smyrna location was originally two buildings renovated and merged into one(or so I’m told), the Dunwoody location appears to have been built from scratch. Olive Garden Dunwoody is located not far from Perimeter Mall and is easily accessible from I-285. We came for dinner on a Tuesday night and were seated immediately. Like other chains, Olive Garden has a big menu or should I say menus. Each of us were handed two menus and there was a third on the table. There was a classic menu, seasonal menu, and a sort of specials menu. I’m not a fan of multiple menus, especially when each menu contains many items. It’s overload. However, I did like how the seasonal menu and specials menu had bright and colorful photos of some of the dishes. Many of the items on the specials menu overlapped with items on the classic and seasonal menus. The restaurant offers an assortment of appetizers and small plates such as bruschetta, meatballs, and calamari, pizzas, soups, salads, spaghetti and other pastas(customizable), lasagna, Parmesan dishes(e.g. eggplant, chicken), steaks, seafood, and chicken. At dinnertime, expect to spend about $ 4 – 10 per app/small plate and $ 12 – 20 per entrée. A dinner for two can easily set one back around $ 50. We ended up having: Breadsticks House Salad with Italian Vinaigrette Chicken & Gnocchi Soup Artichoke Fritti Chicken Marsala Tour of Italy — Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico, Fettuccine Alfredo Breadsticks come standard with every Olive Garden meal. It’s a staple as are the soup and salad. The batch of breadsticks I had here were not as good as the ones I’ve had in Smyrna simply because they weren’t seasoned enough. Each entrée comes with a choice of unlimited salad or unlimited soup. Since we had two entrees, we got both unlimited salad and unlimited soup. I really liked the house salad. It was served in a big bowl with salad tongs. Olive Garden’s house salad consists of iceberg lettuce, black olives, peperoncini, tomatoes, carrots, purple onions, croutons, and a signature Italian vinaigrette dressing. I’m a big fan of salads in general and found the salad to be fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The chicken and gnocchi soup was A-OK. The soup consisted of roasted chicken, gnocchi(traditional Italian dumplings), and kale. The soup was served piping hot and was creamy and comforting. The small bowl only contained four pieces of gnocchi and I wished there were more. Good thing for unlimited. The artichoke fritti was an app I first tried at the Unilocal event in Smyrna. I liked it there and Dunwoody’s version was tasty too. Sliced artichoke hearts are battered and fried and seasoned with various cheeses. Just by deep frying these things, the kitchen has already won half the battle. The fritti was served with a decent five cheese marinara dipping sauce. The chicken marsala entrée was alright. It consisted of chicken breast slices, mushrooms, and garlic cooked in marsala wine sauce with a side of garlic-Parmesan mashed potatoes. The meat was tender and even juicy. I liked the mashed potatoes on this dish the best as it was satisfying and flavorful. The Tour of Italy consists of three classic Olive Garden dishes served on a single plate: lasagna, fettucine Alfredo, and chicken Parmesan. The lasagna was disappointing because it was burnt. One of the fellows sitting behind me ordered lasagna too and his slice was also burnt. He returned his slice and got a new slice from a fresh batch. I didn’t say anything and in hindsight, probably should have. Below are links to a picture of my lasagna and a picture of the lasagna from Olive Garden’s web site(big difference): My lasagna: Olive Garden’s web site’s lasanga: The fettucine Alfredo was phenomenal. It was the right combination of creamy, cheesy, and garlicky. Even the taste and consistency of the noodles were appetizing and outstanding. Without a doubt, it was the best dish of the night. The chicken parm was OK. It consisted of a breaded and fried chicken breast with a marinara sauce and melted cheese on top. Basic and simple. Service was excellent. Our server was Christopher M. and he did a great job. The rest of the staff was friendly and professional including the manager who politely greeted us as we walked in.

Went to Olive Garden last night for the #OGTastes event with my fellow Elite Unilocalers and had a great time. We got to try 11 different Italian dishes with complimentary drinks. The new lasagna is my absolute favorite dish! It had just the right amount of cheese. Plus it was just simply delicious and the broccoli gave it amazing flavor! I have to go back to Olive Garden just for this when the new menu comes out. The new crisp risotto bites are pretty good, too. They have the mozzarella sticks feel ans give the same satisfaction just a little bit healthier for you. Their new Sangarita(margarita & sangria mixed) is prettt tasty. Me personally, I’ll have to stick with either or because I like both individually rather than them together. Nice idea, though. Some really like it. Olive Garden seems to have really stepped their game up because normally I wouldn’t go to a chain restaurant, but I’ll be revisiting prettt soon.

Let’s be honest here, this is a chain restaurant and I always looked at it as a normal, casual restaurant. I definitely would not call this Italian food, not sure what category it would be actually. We initially came here because we had a coupon. True statement: Coupons are a great way to get a customer into your restaurant! I have come here before and it was just okay but wanted to give it another try. It was just okay again. I had the Eggplant Parmesan with garlic broccoli. The Eggplant wasn’t too bad but the garlic broccoli looked as dry as a bone! Even the manager came by and said it wasn’t looking so hot so they gladly brought we another side of the broccoli but this time, it was beyond over seasoned! I couldn’t eat it so we just switched out for a side of asparagus. The asparagus was editable so I stuck to that. We also had to ask the manager for refills on both of our drinks because the waitress was nowhere in sight. For the price, the meal comes with unlimited salad and garlic bread so that’s really the best part but I wouldn’t go running back.

comida buena de acuerdo con el precio, las porciones estan bien servidas(no me gusta que te den un plato enorme que ni se puede terminar) el servicio es bueno y los meseros amigables. los champiñones rellenos son deliciosos como aperitivo.
