Our daughter got married at Snowshoe and the cake was done by Dunmore Bakery. It was beautiful and delicious! Amanda and Kevin are a pleasure to work with! The food at their store is awesome too! Don’t let the outside of the building or the gas pumps fool you – its s full fledged bakery! Try a burger or the Peri Peri wings! Delicious!!!

This place is amazing!!! My family has a cabin not far from here and we always stop in to get the strawberry pies! The coconut cream pie and baklava are so good too! The owners are so sweet and down to earth. It’s so worth stopping in and picking up some treats :)

Dunmore Bakery is fantastic. They have good lunch items and bakery items. There is a huge assortment of pies. The bread pudding is incredible. I highly recommend this establishment located in rural WV. The owners are great at providing local«things to do»!

This place was good enough that my family and I stopped not once, but twice, to grab food on our way to Cass and Snowshoe. The owners were friendly, there was plenty of seating space inside, and the food was made quickly and for a decent price. I had a salad the first time, and a biscuit and egg sandwich the second time. We also bought some Baklava to go – definitely not something I even thought I’d find in WV. Considering it’s in a fairly rural area of West Virginia, I was quite impressed.

A couple old school gas pumps outside. Beautiful spread of baked goods, including pies and tarts in the refrigerator case by the beverage selections. Breakfast and lunch options scribbled on a whiteboard stand on the left as you come in. Service with the friendly rural attitude, reasonable credit card minimum. Clean bathrooms. I opted for the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, which was assembled in less than five minutes. Bun neither stale nor aggressively toasted. Pretty simple, slaw and meat fairly flavorful, very affordable.

You gotta be kidding me? A five-star bakery in the middle of nowhere… Pocahontas County West Virginia? Yep. I went up there for breakfast this morning, and they had to roll me out… or was it cinnamon roll me out. And then there was the slice of breakfast pizza… donut…and a pepperoni roll. A what? A pepperoni roll. I grew up in Fairmont WV, the home of the West Virginia delicacy known as the pepperoni roll. The recipe is pepperoni stuffed and baked in a sweet roll. The rolls here are the best I have ever tasted, full of pepperoni with a delicate crunch on the bottom. I won’t be able to eat until sometime in 2015, probably later in the year. Go see them on Facebook:
