I have a rule never eat in the hotel You are staying at.
We were too tired to explore Dunkirk and find an alternate dinning option.
There is reason for this rule. My son and I were on our way to the car when he spotted the sign by the restaurant that read, PRIME RIB SPECIAL. Our weary feet wheeled to the receptionist’s lectern.
Waitress; just fine, salad; better than average, fries; first rank, grilled green beans; excellent; prime rib; lackluster.
When will I learn to obey my own rules?

We really enjoyed our meals.
We sat against the windows and enjoyed a nice view of the marina and Lake Erie.
The service was great and the prices were excellent.
We ordered Buffalo-​Wings, the Walleye special of the day, and an open beef sandwich over garlic bread. The twice baked potatoes were excellent, the drinks were stiff, and the cheese cake from heaven.

Not much for atmosphere even though right on the Lake. Chalk this up to being pre-​season. Food however was excellent. Had a NY Strip steak, salad and baked potatoe. As food as a steak housewould have served.
