Tanya Nash was my Massage therapist. I have gotten massages all over the world and everyone of them pales in comparison compared to what this woman did, In the past and at other places I’ve asked for deep tissue only to feel like it’s not deep enough with Tanya and her strength, hands and fingers, it was. I left there feeling 10 years younger. I remember I was thinking about work related issues and she could see it in my eyes and she told me this was my time and to relax. It was a very peaceful tranquil setting and I will be back. Tanya Nash is the Michael Jordan of massage therapists she’s also wonderful to talk to a very warm caring genuine person. The entire staff made me feel very welcome from the time I walked in and was greeted immediately until when I left by the way she went 10 minutes over or agreed-upon hour and didn’t charge me anything for taking the extra 10 minutes on me that made me feel really good.

It seems like the tale or two visits… I had an initial facial with Nathan using a groupon and it was excellent … he was conversant and animated and we had a larger room that felt like we were in a spa and service was great! So I booked another facial with a add-on of an eye treatment(this is important and will be discussed in detail later). My appointment was scheduled for 9AM … I called at 9:05 saying I was sitting on the sidewalk outside the spa … at 9:35 I called and said I was getting ready to leave … Just as I was about to get back in the hot car … he calls that he is ‘almost’ there — family emergency. OK, although this always has the connotation of a ‘late night’. I’m trying to give the benefit of a doubt. Things some times come up. That said, he had to get things set up and actually started the service at 9:50. I’m escorted into a very small room that looks like something you’d see in a mall… he mentioned that they added a hallway since I was there … did that cut off ½ the room? After my initial cleansing, there was a very long time with nothing happening, so I glance up and he’s completing a text?! There was no conversation as there was the 1st time and he was seemingly preoccupied with whatever happened the night before and/or the texts than what he was about providing the service that was scheduled. As mentioned, I added-on the eye treatment that to anyone who’s ever been to a spa means your service for a facial with an added service of an eye treatment. He finishes the eye treatment, masque and massage and I inquired… no extractions?! Always nice to get rid of that unpleasantry before the masque and massage, right? So he says that with the eye treatment it’s afterward. So he proceeds to do all the extractions, give me a cursory massage, applies the moisturizer and I’m done … I inquired — no arm or hand massage?! I’ve never had a facial where they weren’t included. He instructs me that with the eye treatment there a need to have constant monitoring of the eye area during the time its applied and it takes the place of the massage. Say what!!! He apologies for the delay of the service and I was paid(without tip, the first time in my life I didn’t leave a cursory 15%) and out the door by 10:35AM Given the fact that he was 40 minutes late for the service, you might think of getting something extra … more massage, extra thoroughness throughout the service, brow wax(if they did it). What I received was asking why services seemed to be missing(extractions) or MIA completely(massage). That said, he did comp the eye treatment(that negated getting the arm /hand massage) and I had no intention of paying for to begin with … and gave me coupon for another groupon price facial.

I purchased a living social deal for this spa for my friend and I only to discover that they can’t do more than one person at a time because they don’t have the staff. I was told they would attempt to work it out and call me back which never happened. They should have posted on living social that they have limited staff so I wouldn’t have wasted my time and money!
