Nice folks and beautiful grounds even in the winter. Their pinots were killer! Busy busy tasting room even for a cold Sunday after the holidays. The staff handled the crowds really well. My husband and I split a tasting.$ 15 per flight. Seemed pricey but we ended up buying a bottle and it was applied toward the price of it. We didn’t feel rushed but also didn’t find anything incredibly memorable about the place. Enjoyed our time there nonetheless.

Man I’m with Sonia S. on this one… I almost feel bad giving this 2 stars, but this was hands down my least favorite winery we visited in the area. The landscape is gorgeous here and I love the barn out back with the farm feeling décor. But the wine… sooo«Mehhh, I’ve experienced better.» It says something if a huge Pinot Noir lover is in Portland and my favorite wine here ended up being a white Pinot Gris. We got our tastings and a cheese plate for $ 10 as a discount with our tourguide(A Great Portland Wine Tour.) Normally $ 15. People pouring wine were friendly but pours seemed a little small and almost everyone tried to sell us on their wine club because it’s inclusive of other wineries. UGH, I cannot stand that… Mayyybe push it if I“m gushing over how amazing the wine is, but I think 3 separate employees tried selling us. *eyeroll* We mentioned to another cellar we didn’t care for it here, and he mentioned that it was odd because it was the first weekend he had heard multiple people say the same thing. Perhaps they just had a bad harvest in 2014. So personally, I think this place is passable. Only plus for us here is they opened at 10 so if you want an early start the day, when most places open at 11 it’s an option!

Was not thrilled with the actual wine, but the ambiance and property was very peaceful and beautiful. Everyone was very nice as well, and they provided us with a cute little cheese platter with our tasting. $ 15/person, not bad at all. One thing that even the parents in our group mentioned(so you know its not just us kids being greedy) is that the pours were extremely small. They should at least use one of those pour stopper things, because it was definitely less than that.

Quaint winery with beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff and a very cheap tasting flight. Average wine knocks it down to four stars.

Four Graces was a wonderful experience. My parents are in town from the east coast and they had a great time! As I’m sitting at Argle all we can think about is the intimate nature of Four Graces. Whitney was super amazing and made the experience for my parents unforgettable. They couldn’t stop raving about how great their experience with her was. The wine was great, but Whitney was the memorable part of the experience. Thank you very much Whitney! I can’t wait to come back and bring my pup.

We came back to Oregon again and of course had to do some wine tasting. Four Graces was suggested by our wine tour guide and I am very glad we came. The grounds here are beautiful and the test gardens are a great way to see the grapes at different points in their life-cycle. We were even permitted to sample some of the different strands of pinots. Very interesting and a great learning tool to actually touch and taste the grapes. From the moment we walked in to the when we left, the servers were personable and knowledgeable and were definitely able to answer all of our questions about the wines. Their 2012 Pinot Noir was fantastic. I know that 2012 was a year where a winery in Oregon couldn’t miss but, theirs was super delicious. I definitely walked away with 2 bottles of it. I was happy to say that this was our first stop on our wine tour so my parents could get a good sense of what was to come! I would highly recommend this winery if not just for the test garden themselves.

Yes, I have visited Four Graces several times in the last year and a half. Emily is the I felt immediately charmed by the quaint winery the second I walked in and Tasting Room Director Paul greeted me in his Welsh accent«Hello Lovey». His pours were spot on and the wines were simply divine. He shared a «secret» wine from 2011 that was amazing in it’s ability to revival the great Burgundies. Paul and Emily should be given raises by their ownership. Obviously the best tasting room in the area.

I cant wait to write this review. The gentleman working here today showed us the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. From the get-go we were greeted with a warm welcome. I belive his name is Paul. He has an accent and is very knowledgeable about the wine he pours and wine in general. They offer a tasting flight of their four wines. He told us we could sit outside and he would bring each tasting to us. Love that! Everytime he gave us a new pour he would chat for a bit as well. It got a bit cold outside and he offered me a blanket. He also offered to bring me more white wine tastings because they only offer two on the flight. They have a demonstration vineyard where you can walk around and sample the different grapes. So cool! Unfortunately I was not able to purchase a bottle from here because I did not love anything I tried, but my husband did. This was probably the best experience I’ve had at a winery in a long time thanks to the gentleman with the lovely accent.

8 of us went to Four Graces today. They suggested we sit outside to enjoy our wine tasting. Ben our server was awesome — he took care of us and made it a wonderful experience!

Wine was delicious — experience itself — meh. I was most excited about visiting this winery because I am obsessed with the wine they make. It is super cute and quaint with the perfect outdoor space. In fact we even had a picnic as they allow you to bring outside food. I am only giving it 3 stars because the two girls working were more interested in my nail color and the dresses they were wearing then telling us about any of the wines, a history of the wine itself. We barely got a hello and we were there for over an hour. The wine is great, but the experience was far from extraordinary.

The white wine was better than the red selection that was poured. The place was pleasant to walk around and staff was ok. I noticed they served crackers inside but not to the folks who sat outside.

Pourer we had(Ben) was his first day. Pours were less than an ounce– was reading off the paper to describe the wines. Paul came out and was so personable– if Paul had been catering to us, we would have probably bought a few bottles. The reserve Pinots were nice. Maybe Ben was in over his head– with 7 of us and it being his first day

Great atmosphere and the staff is very friendly! This is my first time here but you can bet I will definitely make a return trip when I am back in Oregon.

If I was rating the wine I would give it a half star. The patio and environment warrants a 3 star. If you are looking for a cool place to hangout with friends and do not care about the quality of wine this is your place.

Love it love it love it! I went to Four Graces tasting room many many times and then FINALLY became a Club Member! Emily is the sweetest gal and it was her and Paul who finally convinced me to «member up»!! Can’t wait for some summertime wine events… but why wait! I’m a member and can go anytime I like!!!

Cute Atmosphere, very trendy and hip in a rustic Oregon way – it’s not a fancy California modern tasting room. It is very comfy and intimate. And, the outdoor space is set up to give privacy, so you don’t feel like you are right –up-next-to-a neighboring group. I was nervous that when places are«popular» their wine places are a little too mainstream and not very good, but these were amazing! Very tasty, and well-done. The service was pretty good too. I will definitely come back to this winery, it is a fun spot with good wines.

This place was incredible! I went on my 1st wine tasting adventure yesterday, thru beautiful Dundee. We went to 4 wineries and this one was BYFAR the most fun. Dave was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond with his customer service. We were completely spoiled and will DEF be going back there again. I left with a bottle of their 2013 Pino Gris. Thank you Dave!

With limited time, on our part, for this trip and a desire to learn as well as taste, we had time for only a few wineries. We did as much talking with the winery hosts as we did tasting. But that was fine with all of our stops, as it was a rainy weekday and visitors were few. So the hosts were happy to have us visit leisurely and most were willing to pour some wines that were not on the standard list for the day. So it was at Four Graces Winery. With the prior good work and reviews of fellow Unilocalers, we could see that this winery met the good places list and was with in a convenient radius of our lodging at The Allison Inn. Paul and Francois were hosting the day we hit them. Both were cordial and quite knowledgeable of their wines and tips on the countryside, soils, and geology. We also found out that Four Graces was now part of a larger wine group, Foley Family Wines, headquartered in Healdsburg California. Their fourteen vineyards, wineries and estates are located in the western US and New Zealand. So, if you joined their wine club, you apparently get to benefit from buying discounts and specials from all their wineries. Their wines met our likes and we bought an even half dozen bottles, evenly divided between their luscious whites and standout Pinot Noirs. The whites(Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc) were from the 2013 vintage and do not appear to have increased in price from 2012(see Michele R.‘s review). We liked their reds(2012 vintage) well enough to buy the Willamette Pinot Noir($ 32), the Dundee Vineyard PN($ 45) and the Yamhill Vineyard PN($ 45). All should age well, if we don’t get to them right away. A beautiful site and good wines with hospitable hosts. What more could we have asked for? We spent our limited time well by visiting this winery.

The Four Graces was by far, the highlight of our wine trip to the Willamette Valley! The property is stunning, their wines are out of this world and handcrafted with such finesse and elegance and Paul our host for the morning, was fantastic. The winery was prepping for an event and their tasting room and back patio were pack with people, but Paul, who was working solo never missed a step and was attentive every step of the way! He made us feel like we were the only people there. I’m so glad we stopped and look forward to a return visit next year.

I’ve visited Four Graces several times and have had some mixed experiences. However, the good certainly outweighs the bad here. Especially the last couple of times. On our most recent visit we were entertaining some friends of friends from out of town, and they asked to check out this particular winery because they have enjoyed their wine before. We rolled in around 4 on a Sunday, and it was relatively quiet. We decided to sit outside and soak up the sun and enjoy the lovely grounds. To our surprise the wine attendant consistently came out to us to pour our next taste and even brought us glasses and carafes of water. This is a nice touch, and was mildly unexpected. The wine: it’s good, there’s no doubt about that. If you’re trying to decide if it’s worth the stop while in wine country, it most certainly is.
