Korean style fried chicken. This is my guilty pleasure. I never get sick of eating it and this place has most close to authentic flavors I had while growing up. Waitress is super nice so thats a plus!!!

This place is in the same plaza as John’s Creek H-mart and convenient if you are in that area. I think it is the best Korean style pizza and wings I’ve had in Georgia so far. The sweet potato pizza is the most delicious thing. May sound strange, but the gooey cheese and potato complement each other so well. SOOWELL! I have never gotten any of the other pizzas because it is just literally the best thing ever and I have not gotten sick of it. Along with the sweet potato pizza I usually get the mixed chicken deal, which you can choose between fried chicken, marinated, and spicy marinated chicken.(CHOOSE2⁄3) Service is friendly and you can ask for plastic gloves to really get all up in your chicken without the mess. Beer+chicken+sweet potato pizza=5/5 stars alone. Everything else is just a pleasant bonus!

Pros: Smells good, tastes good, price’s good Cons: slow serving I was gonna include«no service» for the cons, considering it’s more like a fast food restaurant, I’ll skip it. Overall: recommend. Make sure try their buffalo wings

Best Korean Fried Chicken in town. I love calamari legs fries as well. Service is fast and great. Ownership changed a year ago. They were not that good at first but, improved on food quality a lot. I like my chicken fries crispy and they make them perfect for me. Now I am addicted to their chickens. There goes my diet. lol

If you’re Korean, you’re probably familiar with the popular pizza+chicken+beer combo that we avidly consume. If you’re not Korean, this may not be the traditional pizza or chicken you’re thinking of. Imagine a pizza covered in white, mozzarella cheese and topped(or crust-stuffed!) with sweet potato. The chicken, known as or yangnyum chicken, is crispy and coated in a sweet, spicy sauce — this is seriously the most satisfying meal for those evening cravings. Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken(a bit more on the outskirts than in the heart of Duluth) is a small venue that serves pizza and chicken. On my most recent visit several days ago, I noticed they had revamped the interior a bit — the seating areas were upgraded to all black and definitely looked newer. Parking here is easy since the restaurant is located in a plaza with an H-Mart, so you definitely won’t come across issues with finding a parking space. When you enter, a server will greet and seat you to a booth or table. While I did mention above that my go-to combination is a sweet potato pizza and yangnyum chicken, there are other options on the menu. You can order pizzas ranging from bulgogi, barbecue chicken, sweet potato-stuffed crust, pepperoni or potato pizza. Similarly, there are several chicken options as well: you can choose between different seasonings: regular fried, sweet and mild, or sweet and spicy; additionally, you can choose whether you want popcorn chicken, chicken wings, or a whole fried chicken. I usually opt for the sweet potato pizza combo with the sweet and spicy chicken wings — there’s just something so satisfying about picking up and eating the wings with your hands and getting larger bites of meat from the wings that adds to the experience. The pizza is extremely cheesy — it’s the main flavor you’ll taste when you take a bite — but it’s topped with sweet potato chunks and a light sprinkling of green bell peppers and ham. The fried chicken is super crunchy, even after being tossed in the sauce, and super tasty. I love eating spicy, so the sweet and spicy sauce doesn’t do much to me but I think the spiciness is toned down in their sauces, so I’d suggest ordering this flavor. Each meal also comes with complimentary danmooji(diced, pickled radish) as well as a cabbage and corn salad tossed in a creamy dressing(pretty sure it’s just thousand island dressing or something similar). It’s actually a really great balance of flavors — the chicken and pizza is a bit heavier, so the acidity from the radishes and the raw cabbage/corn salad adds a fresh factor to the meal. I usually go crazy on refills for these two sides since they’re essentially unlimited. Service is fine and I’ve never had an issue here with poor service or rude waiters. Overall, it’s a fun dining experience and really great for a shared meal with friends.

After having my mind blown by potato pizza at another Korean restaurant, I was on the hunt for more, which brought me to Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken! Customer service was super nice and they went over all the combos with me for my to go order. With their help, I decided on the Sweet and mild(or spicy) boneless popcorn chicken with any pizza($ 19.99). I got the 10 inch sweet potato pizza, which comes topped with green pepper, red pepper, corn, ham, sweet potato, Italian, sausage, pineapple, cheese and white sauce. It was really tasty, and if you haven’t had either the potato or sweet potato, do yourself a favor and give it a shot! The Sweet and spicy popcorn chicken was unexpected in terms of the sheer size of it. Let me be clear… the amount of popcorn chicken you get is enough to give an entire party a few bites of it, so needless to say, I was eating popcorn chicken for 3 days for lunch and dinner! Outside of volume, the spicy popcorn was fried and dipped in a sweet sauce(yet still crispy), but wasn’t spicy at all to me. Very tasty overall, and I liked the popcorn chicken flavor a lot, although they were very heavy handed on sesame seeds, which I also wasn’t expecting, so if you have a seed allergy, let them know. The interior is pretty spacious and clean, being able to seat large groups if need, and of course, k-pop is playing on the television, which is always cool to watch while you wait. Located next to the Super H mart off of Abbotts Bridge Rd, it’s super easy to get in and out, and parking isn’t an issue either. If you haven’t been to Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken, go! If you have been, go again! If you’ve never had Korean fried chicken or their specialty pizzas, I think it’s a great place to break you in.

Got the combo of sweet potato pizza and fried chicken with sweet and mild sauce on the side. It came with a salad and radishes, pretty refreshing to have before the main meal. The pizza had a crunchy crust, the cheese melt and pulls nicely from each piece, and the unique toppings went well with everything. So pizza was a 5 star. The fried chickens were okay. They did came out very hot and crispy. But I was expecting the chicken to have more flavor. But the fried chicken taste like…“plain fried chicken”. The sweet and mild sauce was not all that special either. So the fried chickens and sauce were a 3 star.

Pizza was the quality of gas station food. Didn’t try the chicken but the pizza was terrible. If you want pizza look elsewhere.

I think I may have found the place that has the best Korean Wings in Atlanta. NOMMM. Took me a year to finally drive up here. Parking — Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken has a huge lot. Same strip as H Mart, White Windmill, and Snow Mountain. It’s awesome. You will never struggle to find a spot! Space — They have several booths and tables. I thought it was a tiny place. Seems like they can survive a semi lunch rush. Service — I think it’s run by 2 Koreans. It’s a sit in & order restaurant. Lady is really nice & the food comes out fairly quickly. I manage to come at random times, so no one is really there. Food: As complimentary items: they do give radishes and a salad with corn. I love radish in general, so I eat this quickly. Can’t go wrong with it! The salad is good too. It’s average. I think the radish tends to taste better for me so I stick with those. Their Namyang(Korean wings) wings are so freaking good. It reminds me of Korea. A few years ago, when I was in Korea for 4 months — I ate this every week. When I came back to Atlanta, I was sad I left the Korean wings behind. Now… I just need to drive 40 mins to get my fix. I highly recommend the Namyang wings. The sauce is really good & gives a nice zing. NOM. They also give a lot of wings per dish. Sweet Potato Pizza — I liked this pizza. Really heavy cheese though. I can’t eat too much cheese so… I wouldn’t mind eating this again but without the heavy cheese. I love sweet potato! You can tell it’s added. The Bulgogi Pizza tasted much better for some reason. I know the cheese was still heavy, but somehow another ingredient was added and made the pizza taste different. I would go with this when it comes to pizza. The Bulgogi itself was pretty good on the pizza. I barely eat Bulgogi in general, so having it in small doses is nice.

New owners = same great taste if not better. I felt like their portion decreased after the new ownership maybe a lot of people complained and they changed it back. This places a lot busy now. I don’t think they offer coupons anymore.

Ricky and I stopped by here for a cheat meal(and mini cheat meal for me — I had three wings: P). We went to the gym pretty late so most of our wings places that were convenient on the way here were closed/closing in a few minutes so we ventured out to try this new place. It is located next to the hmart in johns creek. Open till 11 pm. They have the basic options(mild spicy, reg, plain, etc). 16 pieces per serving. Comes with a cabbage salad and pickled radish. Prices are good, crispy and tasty. Only thing is I didnt like the limited options in sauces. I think if they offered more sauces this place would be a bigger hit. But Im gonna be honest, I go home anyways most of the time and put some ms. dash or taste of god anyways for macros friendly so it doesnt bother me much: P. But if I was having a serious cheat meal, i would be less likely to come here because it has less flavor options. Im a sucker for parm wings: P

Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken is a great option for pizza and chicken, especially if you want something a little different from the norm. Their food is pretty good, and they offer a few different combos for decent prices. They also have free WiFi, and there’s plenty of parking because they’re located in the H-Mart shopping strip. We got the $ 19.99 Chicken and Pizza Combo, which includes Sweet & Mild(or spicy) Popcorn Chicken, Any Small Pizza, and also comes with sides of pickled radish and a Korean salad/slaw. We decided on Sweet & Mild Chicken and the Sweet Potato Pizza. I really liked the flavor of the Sweet & Mild Popcorn Chicken. The Sweet Potato Pizza was also good. I liked the cheese, and the sweetness of the sweet potato was a surprisingly good contrast to the rest of the pizza. The portions from this combo were very generous for two people. We left full and with a decent amount of leftovers. You can also get a pitcher of Coors Light, Bud Light, or Budweiser for $ 10.99. Their«pitchers» come in a dispenser with a spout, and there’s an ice core in the center so your beer stays cold! They do offer a few other beers, but these were the cheapest options. Overall, I really liked this place. Good food and good prices. I can see myself coming back!

Marinated fired chicken(yang nyum chicken) is one of modern staple food in South Korea that people enjoy for any occasion. Having tasted the original in Korea, I had always been critical of the ones here in GA until I finally tried Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken in Johns Creek recently. This location had a change in ownership and name since its creation. With the new owners, the food and service has nothing short of amazing. More than anything, I always try the marinated fried chicken and regular fried chicken as I do with any Korean restaurant that lists these items. Few months ago, I tried the half/half marinated and plain fried chicken combo($ 16.99) and absolutely fell in love. First and foremost is the taste. In the most amazing combination of flavor, texture, and heat, this Korean fried chicken is second to none. I knew when I came here that this was the taste of nostalgia that I had been searching for. Other than the taste, there is also the abundant amount of food enough to feed two at such a reasonable price of less than $ 10. Then there is the owner and its employees who are always quick, kind, and patient. I always have new questions every time I come here, and they always answer enthusiastically and serve me kindly. Other than the fried chicken, they offer unique Korean pizzas($ 10.99−20.99 with various size options) with toppings such as sweet potato, Korean bbq, etc. While it may sound strange, it tastes wonderful and goes extremely well with the chicken. To top it all off, there offer beer at such great deals that compliments the whole chicken and pizza combo. For all the awesome amount and quality of food and service, you will rarely find yourself paying more that $ 10.00 a person if you are an average eater. Ever since I discovered this place, I go here with my fiancée every week. We both get popcorn chicken(boneless fried chicken) for $ 11.99 and get plenty full off of it. This location being in the Johns Creek H Mart Plaza also makes it ideal to go for desserts afterwards or shop. Because of this, many of my friends and I eat and hang out here. Out of all the friends that I brought here, not one has disagreed with me on how amazing the food and price is. Bottom line: come here for Korean marinated/plain fried chicken. This place is the best.

Decided to get some Korean fried chicken for lunch. Coworkers and I had heard about this place so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is about an average size place that could seat at least 40+ people. It’s has a very Italy inspired décor which make it’s even more interesting as the place is a Korean establishment. The menu is mainly chicken and pizza as the name of the place suggests. The pizza varies in toppings and can be served in 3 different sizes(s, m, l). Some unique pizzas to mention are the Korean steak pizza and the sweet potato pizza. The chicken comes in either wings or boneless popcorn style bites. The level of hotness for the chicken indicated by the number of chili peppers ranges from sweet n mild(no peppers) all the way to very hot(3 peppers). They also have a lunch special for $ 7.99 that gives you a combo of chicken, fries, and a drink. I ended up getting the lunch special of 10 fried wings, fries, and a drink. The wings were small in size so 10 wasn’t too bad to eat. The wings itself tasted alright, it was kind of bland not too much flavor. The fries was okay overall as well nothing too special. One of my coworkers did end up getting some of the sweet n hot popcorn chicken and it was actually really spicy(fair warning for others). There were only 2 people I could see on staff, the cashier who was a very nice lady and also was our waitress. The other staff member was the chef who was in the kitchen most of the time, but he did give us a nice greeting when we entered. Great service overall! To sum it all up this place is not bad for wings, just nothing to really makes it stand out as something special. I was looking for Korean fried chicken that I thought would have a unique taste to it, but it was really just normal chicken to me. This isn’t a knock on the place, I still think a good place to eat just wasn’t what I expected.

Dropped by this place with family over the weekend. We ordered sweet potato pizza, fried wings, and half/half of regular fried & sweet and spicy fried chicken. Sweet potato pizza was pretty good. It was one of the better korean pizzas that I’ve tried. Good amount of topping, wasn’t soggy, and most importantly their cheese was unique. Unlike American pizza chains, their cheese was fresh and light but still packed enough flavors. Their chicken was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Not that it was bad, its just that nothing particularly stood out. Good crisp to the batter but I just wish there was more flavor to their sweet and spicy chicken. I’d rate about 3.5 stars.

Good korean fried chicken! I’ve been here few time and I really like the fried chicken, price is fair. Just be careful with the spicy chicken tho, don’t over rated yourself, might give you a kick the next morning. Pizza is not bad some ppl like it a lot, but I just do like pizza with potato or sweet potato…

QUALITYINGREDIENTSWILLYIELD A QUALITYPRODUCT I have passed by this restaurant a dozen times as it is only two doors down from H-Mart. It carries Korean style pizza and chicken and also American pizza. The Korean chicken is interesting because it has interesting ingredients such as white potatoes and yam infused crust. I was more interested in their chicken offerings but just wasn’t quite sure what to expect. My daughter decided to try the sweet mild popcorn chicken with fries and a drink.(7.99 lunch special) and I decided to sample hers before deciding if I wanted to order. This is probably a good deal considering an order of fries alone is $ 5. I really did not care for the chicken because it was made from an oddly-textured dark meat. I prefer quality white meat. The coating was what you would find on General Tso’s chicken but lighter and not too sweet. The fries were battered and well seasoned but a bit heavy for me. I like natural fries with the skin on. The lemonade tasted artificial but this may be the normal taste for a fountain drink. I would not know because I drink water. My daughter described it as «good». While I would not be inclined to eat here, it obviously satisfies the palate of a 20 year old. She would give it 4 stars.(Yes, I raised her better. SMH). They really need to focus on using quality ingredients for their popcorn chicken. I simply was not impressed with their selection and would not eat here.

First of all, this place is not called Love Letter Pizza & Chicken. The owners changed recently and now they call it… Well I don’t know what they call it in English. They seem to have multiple names: Joy Pizza N Joy Chicken or Chogajip. But I think Chogajip is the old Korean name. The new Korean name, translated, is, «Baked Pizza Chicken Village().» So confusing. I have never been to the old location. But I have heard from fans of this place, the place has changed. The chicken is now supposed to be phenomenal. So I drove 40 minutes to find out. Well, I think it is confirmed. My wife said this is the best fried chicken she’s ever had. This is a white girl who grew up in the South. So if you want to believe her, feel free. I liked the fried chicken a lot as well. Was it the best? I don’t know. I had a lot of good fried chickens. But this one is definitely at the top. We ordered the Sweet & Mild Chicken(). I recommend this chicken. The Sweet & Mild chicken is a whole chicken cut up into parts. They fry it and put this sweet and mild glaze on top of it. It is a messy chicken to eat with your hands. The sauce is very sticky, and they don’t give you much napkins. They do give you chopsticks, and the chicken pieces are small enough to eat with your chopsticks. So I suggest you to eat with your chopsticks. Or just get down and dirty with your hands. I think they should give you a wet wipe at least if you order the saucy chickens. The skin is super crispy. The meat is super moist The sauce’s flavor is heavenly. It is a great fried chicken. I loved it. It also comes with a corn and cabbage salad and some pickled daikon. They go well with the chicken. But that’s the only side you’ll see. This place is next to H-Mart. And they also serve Pizza, like the name says. I didn’t try the pizza, but they seem to have unique ones like Sweet Potato Pizza. I don’t know how the pizza tastes, but they looked like standard pizza to me. So I would just get the Sweet & Mild Chicken.

The Korean steak pizza is good. But for my last visit, I came only for the fried chicken. It is good here! The crispness is spot on and the seasoning is good. If you are tired of eating fried chicken from the same olé places, give this place a try! I suggest calling ahead to minimize the wait.
