I recently purchased a Jeep Liberty at a great price and was treated with respect and honesty. The sales and service staff were friendly and made me as a priority, fully explaining everything I would need to know about the car and its history. As a lady, the car shopping experience can be intimidating, however they took great care to make sure I felt comfortable and not pressured. This experience was much better than a large dealership where you have to negotiate with 6 people to get an answer. The car needed a few small tweaks and the service staff did this without hesitation. I’ll be buying all my cars from Johnson Automotive Group from here out as well as getting them serviced here. I am glad I finally found a trustworthy dealer.

After a long day of car shopping, I came to Johnson Automotive and found the perfect car (Volvo station wagon) in my price range. Took it for a test drive, looked over the vehicle history report, discussed financing, etc etc, and finally told Scott Johnson I was ready to buy. As he was printing out the contracts, Mr. Johnson gestured towards a pair of customers who had just walked in the front door and told me «Oh, those customers were looking at this same car a few days ago, I’ll bet they’re coming in to purchase it. This will be awkward». He excused himself to go talk to them, and when he came back in, he told me «I have some bad news. I didn’t realize that these customers left me a voicemail telling me they were going to purchase this car today, so I can’t sell it to you.» I was literally minutes away from signing the deal, and he tells me he can’t sell me the car because… somebody else wanted it earlier? Why didn’t he call those customers and clarify whether or not they wanted it before putting me through the ringer?
I was honestly heartbroken– I am in a very tight spot right now and need a car sooner rather than later, and I did not appreciate getting jerked around for an hour and a half only to get my hopes dashed at the last second. To add insult to injury: after I lost the car of my choice, he tried to sell me a 2002 Chevy Impala… He said it would take 15 minutes for it to come back from the car wash, that I should just wait and see. After 45 minutes of waiting I started doing a little research on my smart phone and realized that particular make and model has had a LOT of recalls and issues with the transmission, and that Johnson was asking way more than the recommended blue book price. I told him no thanks and left.
They have a nice dog, though.

Came here to look at a car. Service was good and they were helpful.
