Passing through on way to Cedar Falls, I Unilocal every gyro place I can find while traveling and Zoro’s ranks in top 3 for me hands down. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but most gyro places aren’t, what sets them above others is the customer service, and above all the food! Customer service from Steve, who I think was the owner/one man show, was awesome. He was Grecian, so very authentic with heavy accent. The gyro was outstanding, good price too for 8.99 got the gyro dinner with fries and a drink. Large think cut gyro meat fresh off the spigot, yum! I’ll be stopping here everytime I’m in the area. Also very easy access off the main drag.

I’m not big into lamb but their chicken euro was fantastic! I love the sauce on the euros and the people who work there are very friendly! The restaraunt just seemed really old and a little dirty.

Excellent qyros! The meat is the best I’ve ever had in a gyro, and I’ve had it all over the US. Good portions as well. Her homemade baklava is delicious. I want to go back to the Parthenon in Madison to compare. Wait, I really just want another gyro from Zoros!

Cheap’ delicious’ and packed with love. When I show up to order the owner is very friendly and makes sure you get what you ordered. The food is amazing for the price and when your done eating you look at your partner and say«WOW, that was awsome and I’m FULL!» It’s delicious cheap and recommended in my book.

Given the great reviews this restaurant received, we were expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Other than the quick turn-around on our food, the rest of our experience was poor. The staff wasn’t very friendly, the food was just fair, there was no soap in either restroom and we realized afterward that we were probably over-charged. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back.

In town for my family reunion and was just looking for something quick to eat before heading back to the hotel. The surrounding area and the restaurant were pretty deserted when I walked in, but the owners(?) were very nice and quick to help me, of course. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger to go(just the sandwich), but my sister decided to grab something as well and wanted to eat in. I was pretty starving, so I jumped on the burger right away. It was so hot, it was almost burning my fingers, but that didn’t stop me from eating it, because it was oh so good at the same time. I can’t necessarily say what about the burger made it so delicious, but it really was. I was surprised. My sister had a BLT(minus the L), which she said also hit the spot. Even despite being a NYer, it seemed to have relatively decent prices and does a good job of filling its niche. It’s also open until 3AM on Saturdays for the post-bar crew. Our only qualm was that they aren’t open on Sundays for us to grab food before we head back to Chicago! But it sounds like they work hard and long, and deserve the day off. Would definitely eat here again if I’m in/rolling through Dubuque!

Easily one of the best gyros I’ve ever had. Stopped by Dubuque for lunch and I’m so glad we stopped here. They’re very generous with the meat, place is old but neat and clean, and the service was just amazing. The lady made sure we always have our drinks filled, asked if everything was alright. This guy(I’m assuming the owner) even said goodbye when were done with our meal. Such nice people. Would definitely stop by again whenever I drive through Dubuque. Highly recommended

The friendly service mentioned by all the other reviews was definitely noted. Gyros were packed with thick slices of meat. We ended up taking enough meat home to make two more gyros as leftovers. Only wish would be to have feta!

This place is amazing. The gyros are easily the best I have ever had… the meat is thick, the bread is pillowy and hot, and the sandwich is absolutely HUGE. They have a wide variety, too; the Philly gyro is great(think of a cheesesteak with gyro meat and even better bread), and something called a gyro burger tempts me every time(I haven’t taken the plunge yet).

Sparsely decorated, yet immaculately clean. Service was fast and friendly. Had the Gyro… it was DEEElicious! Not very expensive and good sized portions. Definitely recommend as an alternative to chain fast food.

Food is good, but the fries could be cooked a bit more. Super friendly people thought. I’ll be back

I’ve only gotten gyros here, but I’m going to branch out one of these days. It’s just… the gyros are so good. I received friendly service as well.

Total dive, but they have a really nice gyro sandwich. And the owner is both hilarious and enthusiastic.
