The Spa at River Ridge

Im so upset i can’t sleep. I went in to go bayalage blonde… had bleached applied to my hair to have it look the same color after a color dye. The whole point of bleach was to lighten it. So what was the point of bleach if it was going to be dyed… she just went too fast twards the end and i had no say so of the dye color she put on… i didn’t know at first she was adding dye while washing my hair. I didn’t get anywhere with that appt. I didn’t go in for highlights that didn’t require such a high bleach level to have it dye dark again! I dont think the right steps were taken… or why dye my hair after a bleach… now i will have to pay for an extra session to still be at step one of reaching my goal… with added damage. Ive seen people go blonde from dark hair… i was also a very very light blonde before and my first shot was not the outcome of the same dark brown. The olaplex with bleach lifted dramatically but then reversed and something in the process was not taken seriously… there had to be more patient in doing my hair… due to her following appt, the right steps were not taken. So im left with the same color hair… and some highlights that were darkened after all the bleaching. Now i have no virgin hair left to make the first step (the hardest and the ugly orangey stage) go a little smoother.

Best place to get your hair done and other spa services! I have been going here for 15+ years and would never change. The staff is wonderful.

I have been to a few different stylists at the spa at river ridge and have always left happy! They listen, take their time, and always make sure you are happy when you leave. Love this place! 6 years now and I live an hour away, still keep coming back :)

What a lovely and relaxing location! There is a nice little pond that draws birds and other wildlife on the back side of the building and plenty of parking in front. Tea, coffee, water, and juices are available as you wait and while you get your work done, with little baskets of Hershey kisses and other goodies around the waiting areas too.
I came in as part of a bridal party to get updos for the wedding. It was a nice way to start getting ready, because it was calming and pleasant. We worked with Courtney, Miranda, Amanda, and Alyssa S. Everyone was happy with how their hair turned out.
I worked with Amanda for my updo. I am not the type of person to know what I want before I go in, and she was great about asking good questions and making suggestions from there — what does the dress look like, how well does my hair hold curl, what am I comfortable with for volume, etc. She also stopped and showed me progress along the way to make sure I was feeling good about where it was going. It turned out great and held up despite the heat and humidity for an outdoor wedding.
We were in and out in the timing promised, which helped keep us on schedule. Great visit!
