It’s a short after-dinner walk for those nearby. If you start from the nearby community, you start on a path for a while until the road ends. Then you travel through tall grass(yellow in summer) for the second half until you hit a fork, the left leads to what looks like a teenager make-out area/serial killer’s home in the woods, while the right leads to the parking lot. Short and sweet, with one good landscape view and an old bridge under a canopy of leaves.

Inconspicuous as it may be, Tassajara Creek makes for a great trail. Not much of a hike, but it must certainly be nice for the folk who live there who can just wake up in the morning and head on out into the natural glory of nature. Occasionally you will see wild turkey, and the creek is beautiful when it runs high after rain fall. There isn’t any steepness or excessive climbing(though I like that kind of stuff), so this trail isn’t really one of my favorites. GREAT for bikes, which is hard to say for most parks. Pretty suburban as far as parks go. But I may come back next time I’m in the area! The views of the Dublin hills are absolutely gorgeous at Sunrise.

8am Hike? Why not? There is no shade on this trail but I went on a cloudy day so it was perfect, the sun was peeking through the clouds & there was a slight breeze. The address that is provided isn’t for the staging area. If you input the address that is provided into your Nav it will take you to a barn, just keep going straight past it & take a left on Windemere & just a quarter mile up, the staging are will be on your right. The staging area also doubles as a dog park. They have two sections, one section for small dogs & another for bigger dogs. They have benches for the owners to sit while the dogs roam. There is also bathrooms available. There are a ton of cows roaming the trails but just leave them alone & they will leave you alone. With that being said, watch out for cow poop! There is a lot! Walking along the trail, there markers that tell you that there is an «overlook.» It’s pretty cool. So I decided to go up to two of them, view of houses & rolling hills. They have boulders that double as bench at the top of the overlooks & all along the trail. While I hiked this trail, I ran into 4 – 5 people, so it isn’t too frequented but then again, that was at 8am on a Sunday. I will be back for sure :)

I’m excited to do a review for this trail! I went with my kids and it was a really cute and friendly trail but I think for tiny kids like if you have kids under five this’ll be the perfect trail for them it’s no ups and downs great for a stroller it was very quick it only took us about thirty minutes! But if you’re looking for hiking this is not the trail for you, this is more like a Sunday afternoon stroll

I haven’t yet explored this trail, but I’m excited to explore it with our 15 month english lab. It’s just a short walk or run from our place.
