They have quite bit of items for great price & great deal. BUTTERRIBLEDELIVERYSERVICE.(with additional FEE) Our fridge died on us over the weekend. Purchaised new one on Sunday, delivery was scheduled on Tuesday. Quite smooth start… Well, it go re-scheduled by Sear’s(or delivery sevice as they would call) to Wednesday… I was given 2hours window. Waited, waited… and waited… 1H passed, 2Hs passed… delivery window and after 3Hs beyond time window, my husband gave them call. They told to him that delivery guy already talked to me, that they are running late. My call history? Nope. Did not get call, did not talk to delivery guy. After being waited all day(they told to me they will call again, that did not happen also. Great communication.), they decided to cancel delivery. Is this what we get after paying service fee??? If you are planning to purchaise anything from them, better off picking up by yourself!!!

Stopped in here looking for a futon and/or living room chair. I had never been in before and knew they carried some furniture on their website, so I thought I’d check it out. When I walked in, I mostly saw refrigerators and other large home appliances. The guy working was super friendly and showed me to the furniture section, which consisted of about 3 couches, a couple of chairs, a futon and some side tables. Nothing was my style so I left. This is a scratch & dent, overstock, cancellations kind of place so keep that in mind when shopping. Shipping is about $ 70. If you need furniture, this isn’t your place, but for large appliances you could score a deal.

Your experience here will depend greatly on when you go and how well the store is staffed. If, like me, you went on a busy Saturday when there are not many people on duty, you will feel as though part of your soul is going to be taken by the store. I found what I needed online and purchased it on the Sears Outlet website(a small portable tool box) within 5 minutes. I then spent 30 minutes at the store waiting in line to get it. Seriously. This is the place where time goes to die. If you’ve ever been trapped in a long line at Disney World or at the post office during the holidays, you still have no idea how excruciatingly slow people work here. Another time, I planned ahead and went at 10:30 am on a Wednesday when most people are at work. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Do your homework, shop around and plan your trips in advance and you’ll be fine.

So here’s what went down… I had to buy a new electric range. After some pre-shopping at various big-name retailers, I quickly learned that options were too pricey for what I needed(given that we don’t plan to stay in the condo for long). At the suggestion of a Sears associate, I tried the outlet location on Sawmill. I was immediately greeted by an associate who was friendly and NOT pushy. I told him I wanted the cheapest electric range in black and he took me right to it. Got me checked out within 10 minutes and scheduled for delivery 2 days later. Even told me I had 30 days’ price guarantee(if I found a lower price, they’d match it + give me an additional 10% back). My ONLY qualm with the entire experience was on the delivery end. I was told that they would call me the day prior to give me a 2-hour window. I did not receive said call. Instead, I got a ring at 7:40 a.m. on the day of my delivery saying that they would be at my condo in 20 minutes. While I appreciate being the first appointment of the day, some heads up would have been nice, eh?

This is a pretty cool place to explore. John and I like to pop in here from time to time and look at what deals they have on home goods and appliances. I’m seriously considering buying our next mattress set here as well because they have the same brand my current one is for a third of the price because it’s «last year’s model.» Really? Can’t beat that!
