First visit for us and I’d say decent. By no means overwhelmed. Our medium pizza with sausage and 2 vegs for $ 20. Large pizzas are $ 25. I was expecting them to be saturated in toppings for that price but not the case. Not so sure why the place was so busy.

To celebrate an office staffer’s birthday the group decided to have a pizza party for 10 @ the Mellow Mushroom. No one in the group had ever been(living in UArlington, Powell, Marysville, Dublin) — hard to believe. What a success! The group was placed at a nice high top table that held all comfortably. The inside environment was warm, friendly, offered some of what you’d expect(aka a little touch of psychedelic design)… and the food kicked butt. We got four large pies and their names are;(1) Gourmet White — all cheese with tomatoes, onion and garlic;(2) Mighty Meaty — ’nuff said /carnivores only;(3) Buffalo Chicken — spicey chicken with ranch dressing and bacon/onions and finally;(4) Pepperoni and Sausage — standard all-american fare as pizzas go. Each arrived hot and with some thick, butter-coated and crunchy crusts. Some of us had salads and they were good, too. My sense is I’ll heading back to see if Mellow Mushroom can boost me to 5-Stars rating with a solid Calzone or a Greek Salad. Get over to Mellow Mushroom and pizza up!

This is one of the best pizza establishments I have ever been to! Being a native to youngstown Ohio, I know my pizza and this one is great! So cheesy and thick! One slice and you’re stuffed! I also highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip served with fresh pita.(It’s to die for). Their salads are also very big and tasty, I love the bean sprouts on top for the added«freshness». Whenever I’m in Dublin, I always make it a point to stop at the mellow mushroom!

We «discovered» The Mighty Mellow Mushroom(what my kids call it) in Murfreesboro and while in Columbus we were so thrilled to find out there was one not too far from us. Our attraction initially was becaue we could find a dish that was indeed ALLERGYFRIENDLY for our son but the kids love it and have such a great time when we are at MM that we are pretty much regulars. On this particular visit our server was GREAT, she was personable without being«too chatty» and on top of that, she paid attention to what was happening at the table… were our drinks low? She replaced them! Did we look like we needed more napkins? She got them. Did we want someone to take a family pic of us as we celebrated a birthday? She stepped up and did all of that without us asking! Good to see that The Mighty Mellow Mushroom in Columbus is just as good as the one in Murfreesboro.

First time here was a really solid experience. Good draft beer list with lots of different options, and not just the usual suspects(CBC, 7th Son, etc.) Our server recommended the sausage ricotta pizza, which we went with and liked. They even switched the MLS cup game on for us and turned the sound on. It’s probably a little more expensive than I would normally go with, but nevertheless, it worked for me.

The good: gluten free pizza The food itself was pretty good The bad: slow slow slow plenty of empty tables but we waited an hour after we ordered. My wife’s food came out. Then 10 min later mine. Then 5 min later the 8yr old. Bad mojo.

I just love this place and its many vegan pizza options. I mean, not only Daiya cheese and tofu but tempeh, too. I’m not sure where else you can find that. Sometimes I build a pizza from scratch, but the prices per topping add up quickly. I’ve also been picking out menu options that are amenable to vegan substitutions. The Mega-Veggie is an obvious one(just sub Daiya for mozzarella and make sure to ask for the whole pie to be vegan – the crust itself is vegan, but they will put butter on top if you don’t ask them not to). There are three different cheeses they need to not use when preparing the Holy Shiitake without dairy, but shiitakes and black truffle oil aren’t included on the build-your-own ingredient list, so I found it easier to order by starting with Holy Shiitake and then making the necessary subs; I don’t remember if the garlic aioli was vegan or if I subbed ordinary garlic. The most awesome surprise, though, was the Thai Dye pizza with Daiya cheese subbed onto it and tofu instead of chicken. The Thai chili sauce mingled with the Daiya produced a very different flavor. Off the non-pizza part of the menu, the pretzels are just fabulous. As with the pizza crust(I’m pretty sure it’s the same recipe), ask for it without butter if you don’t want the dairy. The only thing I’ve ordered that I wasn’t fully pleased with has been a hoagie, so I’ll be sticking with the pizza and its endless combinations from now on. The two easiest things to complain about here are the wait time and the prices. Indeed, with all the substitutions I make, a single-size pizza sometimes ends up being $ 20 a pie, so it’s a special occasion place for me. As for the cooking time, though, I’ve found that the best approach is to call ahead and take out. They make everything to order, and even when the restaurant isn’t busy, the food can take 30 or 40 minutes. That’s not so much fun if you’re sitting around the whole time(even if the décor is fun and there are drinks close at hand), but if you have a 20-minute drive to get up there, it works just about perfectly.

We were craving pizza and hadn’t been to a Mellow Mushroom in a few years(last time was in Greensboro, NC). We ordered the Gourmet White pizza with sundried tomatoes, roma tomatoes, mozzarella, feta, and onions. We added black olives and banana peppers to it. The pizza was good, the crust was crispy, cheese was melty, everything you want from a pizza. It was good/average. I also ordered a cup of the Tomato Bisque soup, it was $ 4. It was a pretty big cup, and man was it good! It came with a garlic toast croûton. It was much better than the pizza… is that bad? But I absolutely loved the soup. I thought the pizza was a bit expensive for what it was.

We had a great visit here. There were 7 in our party, including 3 children. The pizza is really good, the location is great, I can’t complain about the service, and it’s good for both a family night or a night out with friends.

The device is slightly slow… however all the pizza(including the dough) is handmade from scratch. They have tons of «exclusive» pizzas which is nice and all seems extra delicious. personally, I had the«Hey Dude» and a Specialty BBQ chicken pizza(which the name escapes me right now) But it was delicious and you could split all pizzas half for types so you can try different ones. overall… awesome place to check out.

I am excited that this place is vegan friendly and have been here a few times but I have a hard time going past 3.5 stars. The good: They know what vegan is and are careful to check ingredients if they are not sure. The pizza always comes out piping hot and delicious. The décor is fun to look at. I am more than a little obsessed with the mushroom lights! The bad: I have had them screw up my order more than once which I find confusing since we typically discuss the vegan thing at length when ordering. Twice now I have had to send my pizza back because they put chicken instead of tofu. Additionally, one time when I had to send it back, the server forgot to put in a new order. I literally sat waiting for almost ANOTHER30 minutes before a manager came to check on me. They expedited the new order and gave me a discount on the bill. I honestly think that they should have just comped the pizza by that point but it is what it is. This place is crowded on Friday and Saturday night so it is loud. I wouldn’t suggest this place for a date night if you want to hear each other or to have timely service. It isn’t all bad as I have said but I definitely know to avoid coming here on Friday or Saturday night. I love the food but I know not to come starving just in case there is an issue and I have to wait longer than normal.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place! They have a great menu to choose from for both food and drink. I love that even small pizzas can be made ½ & ½ so you can try different specialties. Our server was prompt, friendly, and able to answer all of our questions. We went into this place late on a weekday so there were only a handful of people in there. It’s easy to get to, easy parking, easy to navigate the restaurant and menu and a very chill space. I will definitely come back.

Awesome service and this pizza is really good! If I were you and near by, I would check this place out. Taste fresh unlike pizza places that have a conveyor belt. I ate the pepperoni and cheese so I can’t tell you about the topping. Like I said, give it a try.

Pros: variety of pizza selections including dairy free, vegan and vegetarian. Made to order, not frozen. Quality ingredients. Tastes great. Cons: a bit pricey. Review: My first visit to this place was two days ago. I really enjoyed the pizza but thought it was a bit overpriced. Most large pizzas are around $ 25. I don’t generally order delivery pizza because I think they are overpriced too. Lol but this is obviously better quality. The main reason we went here is because my husband is sensitive to lactose so he hardly ever eats pizza. All in all I will probably go back when I’m in the mood for pizza. ;)

Were seated promptly on a busy Saturday evening. Had a super friendly waitress. The pretzels and beer cheese came out quickly and were amazing. Pizza followed shortly behind and was very good as well. The noise level was a little overwhelming out on the patio, but that was due partly to a loud talker one end, and five children under the age of seven on the other end. I prefer the Polaris location, but this was good as well.

The food here is always great. We’ve come here probably every month to get our pizza fix and its consistently great. Their hummus is delicious, their pizzas are usually always good. What keeps us coming back though is definitely the awesome staff. Every visit we’ve always received a great welcome. I think our one waitress was named Brooke? She was seriously one of the best waitresses we’ve experienced in any restaurant. She gave us so many refills, was very down to earth, and even gave us a cup to go. They also have a great beer menu. I usually grab a pint of something when I’m there.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and I think it’s pretty good. They have a great selection of brews, something for every beer geek. I’ve eaten a couple different subs and they’ve been pretty good. The pizza is out of this world though! I love all the different combinations they have. It’s a great place to hang with friends or family. I’ve been a couple of times on business lunches too. It’s a must try.

My husband and I came here last night because we bought the $ 20 groupon for Mellow Mushroom. Luckily we ordered a really good pizza because I think the last time tried their pizza I didn’t think much of it and it was at their Polaris location. I swear I thought the guy who served our pizza to us was a Unilocaler I knew, thank god I didn’t address him by that person’s name or he would be asking me who’s that? I think we also came at the wrong time since they were getting ready to close. Although I can highly recommend ordering the white rabbit. No, silly you won’t be eating a rabbit even though my husband thinks it’s actually delicious. You will be getting the following from this pizza; artichoke, mushrooms, olive oil, garlic topping, choice of feta choice or meat topping. So now that you know you won’t be eating from a live rabbit, are we good? Is this kosher to try? Well I don’t know about that, but you’ll just have to come to one of the Mellow Mushroom locations and check it out yourself!

First and foremost, the beer selection is great! A wide variety of drafts & bottles. Pizza crust is handmade, crisp and great! Sauce us very good, and toppings are wonderful. We got the kosmic karma but you can make your own pizza if you wish. We also got hot wings and they were some of the best I’ve ever had! Very 420 type ambiance, mushroom lights and décor, but still somehow family friendly. A hard combination to pull off! We had a very cool bartender, made the experience that much better. We will defiantly be back!
