Kroger Food and Pharmacy

Very good overall, but they should put some chairs by the deli for all the people waiting. The deli is sooooooo slow.

I made a trip to this location a few day before Christmas to pick up a prescription for my son because my usual Kroger was out of stock. I headed to the walk-​up window and gave the pharmacist my son’s info for the prescription, which had been transferred by the pharmacist at the other location.
As I was verifying information, the pharmacist very curtly stated that it wasn’t supposed to be picked up for another hour. I had told the tech at the previous location that I’d be going straight there, so I don’t know why they were given a later pick up time. I told the pharmacist that I didn’t have a problem with waiting (since we desperately needed the prescription). She hung up the phone for the speaker while I was mid-​sentence and walked away. I went back to the car, sick kid in tow, waited about half an hour, picked up the prescription and left. At no point was I greeted with a «hi», «thanks», or anything other than «last name? birthdate?» from the pharmacy staff.
I get that the pharmacy was pretty slammed with a pre-​Christmas rush, and the pharmacy staff probably didn’t want to be there. But I didn’t appreciate the fact that I seemed to be inconveniencing them by picking up a prescription (especially considering that they could plainly see that it was for a sick small child). Trust me, I wish I hadn’t been there picking up meds for my sick 1 yr old the week of Christmas either. I doubt I’ll be back, as I’d rather drive a little further next time than be scolded & hung up on for showing up too early.

Friendly staff, great location, great seafood selection. The little clinic has been great for simple fixes. I’ve gotten a flu shot there and I’ve been seen for a sinus infection there. It’s awesome that the little clinic is in kroger

With my experience with Kroger (not just this location, but in general), I’d rather shop at Giant Eagle/​Market District, I just like the products and service better there
I used to work at this Kroger location, and while it’s not the worst place to work, there are much better places to work out there
From a customer perspective, they could do better, don’t get me wrong, they have some nice and helpful employees, but they still have some bad apples (rude and/​or unhelpful employees)
Not long ago I went to the Customer Service desk (Guest and Money Services) to break a $ 100 bill (Chase was closed as it was on a Sunday), and there were no office staff behind the desk, I noticed 2 employees from the office just talking to each other, not doing anything, standing by the registers (I remembered them from when I worked there, so I knew they were from the office), after waiting about 5 minutes they moved from beside the registers to the front, completely ignoring us, my fiancé went up to ask for service and they refused, asking another employee from the office that was logged into a register and was in the middle of checking someone out, she also refused (understandable, she was busy at the time), both of the employees who refused, even though they weren’t doing anything, looked at each other as if they couldn’t do it, and was wondering if the other could (pure laziness), one of them FINALLY decided to take matters into their own hands and help us, after we were finally helped, my fiancé and I left the store appalled, and we both thought the same thing… Unprofessional, at least at GE/​MD, if you ask for service, you get it without asking twice

Kroger is my preferred grocery market. I happen to forget my lunch, while on my way to sub, thus this Kroger was closest. Of course this was a great store: tons of open parking spots, two separate entrances, good flow and placement, stocked shelfs, big isles, good lane identification signs, plenty of check-​out lanes, and polite cashiers.
The one down side: Location! This store is not right of Avery Rd. You have to turn off a side road, and their parking lot is off that road. Lots of traffic and skewing trees caused me to drive right pass the parking lot :(Now I know? Yeah. But still…

Love this store. Been in here many times and you can never go wrong in this store. One of my favorite spots in the store is over by the magazines/​books where there are a couple of leather couches. Yeah, lets just say that I was ready to take a nap there the last time I was at this store. Overall the store is clean, easy to find what you’re looking for as well.
