Not a good place try. Service is terrible. Ordered an entrée and waited for more than 30 minutes n finally had to make it a to go. Also the taste was not ok. Wouldn’t go anymore

Damn I miss this place and their lunch buffet! All the dishes were fresh and excellent. The desserts were especially great. Service was always great; many Indian business owners seem angry all the time, not these folks. Cant wait to stuff my face there again!

We tried two standard chicken curry type dishes with naan and an order of samosas, carry out. I was glad we decided to get carryout because the ambiance of the restaurant was seriously lacking. Long tables were pushed against a wall with chairs stacked up in front, basically being stored on one side of the tiny dining area. I guess that’s fine because only one person was dining there when I showed up on a Saturday night to pick up my order. The food was packaged nicely with side cups of mint and tamarind chutney, which turned out to be extremely watered down. The taste of the food was good, but I was really glad we ordered naan to soak up all the sauce, which was the majority of what we received in our container. Our order was overpriced for what amounted to about 5 pieces of chicken swimming in gravy. We won’t be back, as there is a better option in the area with cheaper prices.

This is by far the worst Indian food I have ever had. The chicken couldn’t have been more disgusting. The Veggie Pakora was awful… I just have nothing positive to say about my lunch. Really bummed overall. Spend the extra few dollars and go to Aab.

I thought this was pretty good for the price. Their entrees have good size chunks of chicken. The mild entrees could have used a bit more flavor, but I still liked them. The basmati rice is really good too. I’m not sure the name of what all I ate. But I also got some fried vegetable pasty(I think it’s the Vegetable Samosa?) that had a bit of heat to it. There was some sort of white sauce that is sweet, and I’m not a fan of it. It was incredibly hard to understand the employees, but that’s typical of ethnic restaurants. Pretty good value for the price. Food is filling and tasty, but not overly memorable.

We had Vindaloo and Spicy Chicken Curry. Both were really good. A little bit pricey versus other options in Columbus.

Food was hot fresh and spicy. Very flavorful. I had madras chicken with basmati rice. Other guests at table had mango walla which was sweet with a little heat in the afterbite. The third guest had dal mahkni which she said was the best she has eaten. Also had a couple of sides of garlic naan. It was soft hot and topped with fresh garlic and cilantro. Can’t wait to go back again.

We tried this as a girls night for our first time. The service and food were excellent. I had the lamb korma. Oh my, it was delicious! The garlic naan was fresh and yummy. I tried my friends’ food also. Everything was excellent! Our glasses were never empty and the servers were more than accommodating. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys tasty, fresh Indian fare!

Went for dinner once on a Friday evening. No one was in the restaurant. The manager and his waiter were the only ones watching TV. Pretty ordinary Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant. My wife gave me a cold stare when we entered. Lets get out of this place. Their online menu prices don’t match their restaurant menu prices. Chicken Bhuna is listed $ 9.95 online, but restaurant menu says $ 13.95 which is pretty high considering their ordinary setting and ambience. To add to that, they give you less quantity of food. Vegetarian dishes are listed starting at $ 7.95, but actually they are $ 12.95. That’s the case with most if not all their menu items. I’m not picky on the price but hate ‘bait and switch’ poilcy. Entrées were served with basmati rice which served in a little bowl. Taste was ok. Manager was a nice guy and so was the waiter, but they really need to step up if they want to charge you like an mid or up-scale Indian restaurant. Probably won’t go again.

I have only had this food at my office as they are kind enough to be a guest restaurant in our cafeteria from time to time. The first time he was in I had Goat Biriyani which I really enjoyed. The flavor was different than any Indian food that I ever had; Very rich and deep. The second time, I had the daal and the peas and paneer dish with a side of basmati rice. The lentils in the daal were cooked perfectly and the texture of the cheese in the paneer was like silk. The gentleman who served the food(I assume the owner?) was happy to tell me all about his food and how it is prepared and made sure that I enjoyed my meal. I will be dining at the restaurant soon so I can try more items. I will certainly look forward to the days that they bring their deliciousness to my office! I am a fan and I hope that they do well!

We have tried this restaurant twice(both carry out) this establishment does not serve wine or beer. We ordered the curry and grill platter as an appetizer — – very ordinary, a little bland tasting and no dipping sauces — We ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi(for my wife) and the Chef Special Chicken Roost— the Jalfrezi was mostly greasy vegetables hardly any chicken, the«Chef Special Chicken Roost» was supposed to be Bone in two chicken breast marinaded in their special sauce — not sure what they gave Me but it sure wasn’t what it was supposed to be it looked more like the Jalfrezi that my wife ordered. I called up to discuss, I asked for the owner, I was told he wasn’t there and he would call Me as of today’s date he hadn’t called. We will not be going back.

Curry N Grill has fabulous Indian food. It’s Southern Indian, so a little different than every other Indian food place I’ve tried around Columbus. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is amazing. They have an appetizer they created called Chicken 65… it’s like boneless hot wings — Indian style! I found them about 2 months ago, and have since either dined there or carried out at least once a week :)

I can say I have eaten at all the Indian restaurants/joints in Columbus and around, and have never found the taste so authentic as I found in Curry and Grill. The food seemed freshly cooked, unlike some other places. The service was quick. The staff was friendly and attentive. The size of the servings was perfect. Highly recommended. A little hidden gem.

I have never written a review on Unilocal before: I feel extremely compelled to write one for Curry N Grill because both my boyfriend and I became sick for 2 days after dining here. Not sure if this was an «off day» for the kitchen… I hope so! We heard loud talking in the kitchen-almost sounded like they were arguing while our food was being prepared. Perhaps the kitchen is unsanitary? We frequent many Indian cuisines in the area-this is the first time that we ever became sick.

The food was ok; nothing to write home about. We came about an hour before the lunch buffet was over, and the food was scarce. While we were eating, the owner tried to sell us light bulbs from his other business… which was wierd. I have no plans to return.

Bengali cuisine par excellence! Bengali cuisine comes from the eastern part of India and Bangladesh. On Sundays they have special entrees that one will not find anywhere in Columbus!
