I’ve been having breakfast here for nearly 10 years. They are quick, great service, and the food is dependable. If you want a great breakfast for not a lot of money, this is your spot.

This was the first time visiting this establishment. The service was fast and the food was delicious! This place was Hoppin’ when we arrived. There were chairs out front along with hot coffee and decaf coffee sitting in a table for those who were waiting to be seated. We checked in with the host and we were seated fairly quickly. Less than a 10 min wait. The food came out and so delicious! Priced fairly reasonable. The servers were friendly and cordial. Love Unilocal,it’s what finds us great places like these. Highly recommend this restaurant. And they close at 3pm. Lots of parking too!

nice, clean, good breakfast. good coffee, good service and breakfast was also good. nothing negative to say other than a little dated décor but it gave that cozy diner feel.

It was our first visit at this place. We liked the casual feel that suits our 2 little toddlers. And allowed us to relax while we enjoyed our meal. The activity sheet that they provide in the beginning helps to keep the kids busy. Our food were prepared well. The chorizo scramble and the sides were tasty and filling. I like the spicy taste if the chorizo and the spicy salsa that furthers enhances the taste. The dish also came with hash brown, toast and mashed beans, which I found very filling for my appetite. Our kids loved the waffle and chicken strips. I like how they have the fruit option instead of just french fries. Service was prompt and accurate. I just think that the floors need a little cleaning. The tables and chairs were clean. But the floors need a little attention.

This place is okay. We went here for lunch and it was very crowded. The waffles are awesome and great, but a little to pricey though, $ 8.95 for all the specialty waffles and you only get 1 and nothing else so no wonder why they ask you for sausages and eggs. Anyways I like the steak and eggs to that my fiancée had. The service was good despite being busy and it was good. All the other breakfast menu items had good value as well. It was good and will come back again.

I don’t have anything bad to say about this place, the food was great and so was the service. I have only gone for breakfast so I can’t comment on anything else besides their great scrambles.

YES I am a fan of Country Waffles. As much of a shocker that may be to some. I can, of course explain. I really enjoy a good waffle. And I can consistently get that at Country Waffles. I never deviate from a waffle. The only thing I may change up is the the topping. The peanut butter and banana is pretty yummy. I am usually torn between the strawberry and the blueberry topping(blueberry normally wins). And of course I want the whipping cream too. Obviously some much to enjoy about a visit here. I cannot contribution much outside of my opinion of a delicious waffle, since that is the only thing I get. FYI this location is the one I frequent the most. The staff is usually very quick, friendly, and smooth at making sure you get what you need and head out.

was really hungry, but didn’t finish anything we ordered. Really bland and/or badly made food. Don’t offer crepes when you’re just going to give me rolled up pancakes.

Waited 35 minutes for a table for 7. The host told us 5 more minutes 3 times and said«We have to make a table for you.» Meanwhile he sat 4 groups of 4 who arrived after us. I guess pushing a couple tables together is WAY too much to ask. We left without ever being seated… Lousy service. Apparently you get punished for having a party larger than 4.

The crepes on the lunch menu were the best crepes I’ve ever had. My partner said the same thing. They were sweet and savory! Would go back just for those.

Food was okay. Service was okay. Problem with charges made on my credit card afterwards. I paid $ 13 on my credit card. They charged me $ 14.10 on my card. Truly full of scam. DONOTEATHEREUNLESSYOUWANTTOTIPTHEM30% FOREGGSANDBACON. Ridiculous.

This place is always packed with lines out the door. The main reason is there aren’t really many great breakfast places in the area. Once you get seated(about a 10 minute wait) and once they take your order(about a 5 minute wait), food comes extremely fast. The kitchen must be hustling since. I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always very good with very generous quantities. Pretty much the entire breakfast menu is solid. The wait staff are always friendly and attentive. Didn’t have to ask for coffee or water refills.

2.5 for me! Service is meh(the servers could smile every so often.), food is okaayy(portion and flavor wise) The only highlight of my family’s meal was their hash browns. Still, my sisters hash browns were not as crisp. My moms side salad had soggy lettuce and cucumbers(maybe too old and going bad? Or poor refrigeration? Idk) I would recommend going elsewhere for diner food.

Very big portions and nice staff. I found a nasty long hair in my waffle and the waitress took it back and got me a new waffle. I didn’t like their homestyle potatoes. The hash browns were crispier. The caramel pecan waffle was delish. I loved it.

I was searching for a breakfast place that has strawberry waffles specially and found only this place and Denica’s Real Food Kitchen have them. My husband’s aunt told us it’s very busy on weekend and we weren’t sure if it will be busy on weekday so we came here instead. Pro: Their kid menu is quite extensive and has all kinds of options. I thought about ordering the kids portion waffle but my mother in law wanted to try so we just got the full order to share. Con: Saw a exciting fly kept flying around our area. It fascinates my daughter. Overall, the food is pretty decent. My picky daughter ate her waffles and strawberries(with strawberry glaze, I was surprised it wasn’t too sweet at all). The food came out quick and we were happy to be on our way back to So Cal to avoid the LA traffic.

We had a good meal today at Country Waffle. The fiancé and I had an early morning dentist appointment and man were we hungry when we finished. So we got there at about 10am and got sat within ten minutes. CW is somewhat of a dated restaurant in the interior. It’s got(yup you guessed it) a country type of feel. Liberal use of lattice, white picket fence look, etc. not a bad thing. Anyways we ordered two thing: a country scramble and pancakes with eggs and bacon. We shared both. The scramble was pretty good. It had country potatoes, scallions, tomatoes, bacon and sausage. Oh and of course a nice egg. The pancakes were nice thick and fluffy. Based on a few reviews I read, the pancakes were hit n miss. For us, it was a total hit. For the Tri Valley area, CW is a budget family restaurant if you don’t order drinks. Two orange juices made this about a $ 30 meal which included a $ 4 tip Our waiter was a great server and very friendly to boot. I’d definitely return again to try a omelet or another scramble.

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is they do not serve Alcohol so a Mimosa or Beer is out of the question. The service is on point, drinks ordered and received in minutes. Food the same! Family atmosphere. Food is good and comfort country style.

My family and I have passed by this Country Waffles many times and the Livermore locations as well. We had an early breakfast and didn’t have to wait to be seated. My hubby had the Bacon n’ Eggs — 4 bacon slices, 3 eggs over easy, hash browns and two pancakes. My daughter had the children’s blueberry Swedish crêpe. I had the stack of pancakes with two eggs over easy and bacon. The pancakes were flavorful and delicious. Our food served fresh and hot. The restaurant décor is country style with flowers, old and dated. Our waitress was very sweet, friendly and attentive.

On our recent road trip to San Fran we stopped here. We opted to sit at the bar area, because we like to watch all the action. The waitress came over in a couple of minutes, the place was slammed, so the wait was expected. The food was made to order and tasted good, the staff was friendly and it definitely looked like they could have used a bit more staffing to alleviate the rush, but they handled it well. Place was clean, and they had plenty of options for just about anyone looking for a classic breakfast place. Overall: A A good meal, a good stop off and a great refuel for the journey back to Irvine.

Sunday afternoon lunch stop and Country Waffles was still open(they only serve breakfast and lunch). Hearty comfort food and our group got Waffle and Chicken Reuben sandwiches, fried chicken, and breakfast. All large portions and all surprisingly good for a large California chain. The restaurant looks bigger from the outside than it really is, and there are few tables for large groups. Prices were reasonable.
