Burger night! What gets better than that, fast food… Great burgers! Can’t beat the price or the service anywhere around

This place is an Irish gem with a real feel of the Irish pub. The food was splendid and the drinks were superb.

I expect an Irish pub selling fish and chips to have steak fries and not snack chips.

This is a review for their Columbus Restaurant Week offerings. We had a relatively unpleasant visit due to their terrible service. Service was not attentive at all upon entering. Food was served slowly and inconsistently, with gap time lasts as long as nearly 40 minutes. Other later comers were being served way quicker than us. They also sent the wrong order at the beginning and never came back-​and then told us towards the end of the meal that what we wanted were not available anymore…
Food/​drink-​wise, we had black bean chili, soft pretzel sticks (was warm and soft and delicious; recommend!), smithwick’s Irish ale, ultimate garlic burger, pull pork sandwich, fish & chips, Irish coffee (dislike, wanted Irish Crème brûlée originally), peanut butter pie (overly sweet, not what we wanted as well, had to change order to this due to no cream brûlée). Main entrees were all great-​we liked it. However, we were very disappointed at their sides. I’ve been here before and the chips used to be delicious (being a non-​chip person). This time, chips were burnt, soggy, and way too salty.
Honestly, I really wanted to like this place, so hope their management can fix these issues. My rating would be more of a 2.5.

Love this place, located in Old Downtown Dublin in what used to be an old house. Great service and food. Got the Reuben sandwich and peanut butter pie for dessert. Will definitely come back again.

The WORST SERVICE I have experienced in a long time. I used to live in Dublin, and was back home hopping through all the local pubs. Brazenhead staff didn’t greet us at the door, as a matter of fact, they didn’t acknowledge us at all, and they weren’t even that busy! I was VERY disappointed, and when I ordered a moscow mule, it was served in a tall glass — very odd. Not in a hurry to get back to this place, and it has clearly gone down hill since I lived there. Very sad.

Amazing food and service. The Irish egg rolls had an excellent smokey flavor and paired perfectly with a pint of Guinness. Burger was cooked perfectly at medium and was hot and juicy. Fish and chips were excellent but the coleslaw set it off. Chips were actual homemade chips and not fries. Will return!

Fuimos un domingo por la noche, es un lugar tomar una bebidas unicamente.
–La mesera se veia que tenia mucho trabajo y tardo en atendernos.
–la comida estuvo a buen tiempo pero aun asi el sabor no me gusto para nada, pedimos unas alitas y estaban muy grasosas, un guacamole como entrada y te sirven una pequena porcion de guacamole con el plato lleno de totopos. Realmente no es un lugar al que iria a cenar.

Food and drink were great. Lousy, lousy service. The waitresses just don’t care about the customers. If you need to bring out-​of-​town guests to Dublin, OH for dinner, don’t embarass yourself by going to Brazenhead.

Haven’t been here in some time & probably won’t return… anytime soon unless it’s for a beer & patio. We went for dinner since it was a great night for patio. To start w/​you could tell they were short staffed as one of the servers walked by a table asking if they were ready to order, the table said yes & server kept walking — «great​.be back». Fortunately we got served quickly.
Food was the unfortunate part– the hubby ordered wings. Served as a dish of 5 wings (small) & celery = $ 10!!! I had the peanut chix skewers — tasted like processed chix nugget= $ 8. The Harvest Salad not bad… but OK.
I will applaud their beer selection… Endless!

Great patio, delicious burger, tasty homemade chips, and AWESOME garlic aioli that comes with the chips (which I also put on my burger!) Overall, a wonderful experience!

We went to this location on a Saturday around 6 pm and the service was terrible. I even had to clean the table off myself with a wet cloth. Nobody seemed interested in helping us… worst service in a very long time and my wife suggested we will never return

If you want good service, then don’t come here. I went here with my friend for restaurant week and our waiter was not polite nor welcoming what so ever. For example, I was trying to find myself a seat and after sitting down at a dirty table– I said thank you to my waiter for clearing it and she didn’t say a word back.
I’ve never been here before and came in with an open mind, but the experience we had yesterday was definitely not that great at all.

We went to Brazenhead on Wednesday to try their $ 4 burger night and we were very satisfied!
We sat down & got a beer (the draft list is a bit short, but they make up for it in their bottle selection). We also ordered an appetizer (fried pickles), however, the fryer was down so we got the mushroom quesadilla; it was phenomenal!
We all ordered our burgers, each adding different toppings and when they came we were very pleased.
I’m intrigued to try other things on the menu.
We sat in the back room because there were several of us, I am assuming that is a coveted spot because I noticed the same 2 people checking to see if we were there and damn near ran us over to get into it as we were leaving.
My ONLY qualm about Brazened is they have a sign that says «not service on patio», it was a lovely day when we went & chose that location because they had a nice looking patio (not knowing we couldn’t get service there).

My overall review for brazenhead was 3.5 /​5 stars. If I only had the burger it would have been ⁴⁄₅. The burgers are top notch and always tasty. The appetizers were very unimpressive. Can’t believe those frozen tots cost $ 10. I wouldn’t even have them on the menu when you have the 101 beer kitchen tots up the street to compete with. The hot chicken appetizer had me excited, but was missing any heat or tinge of cayenne that is described on the menu. Make it hot! It’s a good spot but stick to their burgers and chips.

Awesome environment with multiple floors of seating. Great drinks and food. The fried pickles are a must! Burger nights can get a little crowded – but worth it!

Came here for restaurant week and was disappointed. The service wasn’t that great and the food was just ok. While I understand they have a «seat yourself» sign, I was not even acknowledged by the staff while I stood waiting for about 5 minutes for my date to park the car and join me.
The Irish coffee we ordered came out almost cold, and I wasn’t a fan of the processed-​cheese tasting dip that came with the soft pretzel appetizer. The pretzels themselves were very good, and my date enjoyed his fried fish, but the house-​made chips were not cooked evenly and I had several on my plate that were pretty much raw potato slices. We were also charged extra for asking to replace the horseradish sauce on my burger with mayo. We will definitely not be returning.

Christmas cheer was held at this Brazenhead for the 2014 holidays with our company staff. Good times! The food we had was tasty and kept hot in steam trays (not always ideal but our group kept eating so nothing went cold or overheated). Selections included chicken-​kabobs, quesadilla made with spinach and portabella mushrooms and cheese (say YES!), large and wide variety veggie plate with good dill and ranch dips, a huge fruit plate too.
The get-​together was held in the basement and I thought it was plenty roomy for our cast of 20 or so attendees. Seating was a bit sparse but that was due to food service plating and our gift giveaways which took two booths out of commission. Downstairs is a nice atmosphere and has its own men’s and ladies restrooms — a plus for private parties.
It’s not fair, really, to lump parking in Dublin in with Brazenhead but… that’s what you get is some congested, drive-​around, wait for someone to pull out parking. I learned later you can find spots if you turn down the little road adjacent to Brazenhead and park by the river. I opted to park on the west side of 161/​Rte 33 through old Dublin and walk. No biggie but all of old Dublin is parking inadequate at night between 4:30PM — 9PM.
Brazenhead in Dublin is fun. I liked the main floor bar area. It’s all good placement and has a nice pub air about it.

I’ve been here a couple of times for drinks, but recently visited for lunch. The menu had a decent variety of sandwiches and burgers. I ordered the beer-​battered fish sandwich, and it hit the spot. They also had a decent beer selection to accompany the meal.
Biggest gripe was the speed of our service. It took a while once we sat down for the server to stop over, and then we sat for a long time (over 20 minutes) at the end of the meal waiting for her to bring the check.
I don’t think Brazenhead would be my first choice for a meal, but it’s a great setting to enjoy a few beers either inside (very cool interior) or outside on the patio when it’s nice out.

We love the burgers and live music on the patio. Seating is somewhat of a debacle… wander all three levels until you find evidence of someone paying their bil, then stalk their table and be the first to swoop in like a vulture.
Parking has improved since the city added a lot across the street just be careful about parking in the LIBRARY; they tow.
