Payless ShoeSource

Don’t have much stock of certain items (for kids). Went for snow boots and they maybe had 2 in sizes I didn’t need, figured I’d buy warm winter boots instead, they only had one I could buy… stock was low!

Came in a couple of weeks ago for some flats for an upcoming event. They customer service person was super nice she was helping me out to pick out what exactly I was looking for, she even showed me what shoes were on sale and they had some really good prices.
Unfortunately, I walked out of the store with the shoes which still had the plastic thing attached, I had not noticed it had it.
The next day was the event and I pulled out my shoes and I saw it! I was panicking to get it off. I was finally able to get it off, thank God.
I am giving two stars because my mom had gone in the day before to buy shoes as well. She had picked a pair out and paid for it. As she too opened the shoes the next day she noticed they gave her two different pairs! I know we should have checked our selves too, but I feel like the person charging us at the store should have done this. It’s very ignorant of her not to have checked. On our side too but anyways my mom was not able to use her shoes for the event as she had two different ones.
Now this is where it starts to go downhill and where I felt uncomfortable. The same person that sold me the shoes and was also the customer service person had a very different attitude when I went back to return some socks and my mom shoes. She no longer was cheerful and helpful. I felt like she was being a little bit of a jerk.
Anyway I don’t like coming here but I tend to come here often since it’s really close to my house. I suggest that you check your things before you leave or you might run into some trouble.

I came here for a specific pair of boots I found at another location that they had in my size. They put them aside for me and they were ready when I got there. Unfortunately, they didn’t fit, but the young lady that helped me was very friendly and looked up other locations with the boot I was looking for in the area. I ended up looking around and finding something else, but I appreciated her help and I would come back again. There is plenty of parking and it is easy to find, as well.

Came in to look for some work shoes and I was pleasantly surprised on their variety and selection for men’s sizes 12 and 13. They even had a size 14 section. Customer service was nice.

This store has a lot of shoes. I have to say I like the shoes better at Ross and they have better prices. I give this store 4 stars form effort. The store is clean and neat.
