When I went in for my appt. & the sullen young lady at the front desk rolled her eyes & shook her head because this older man did not know how to fill out my info on a I– Pad I(should have walked out) I have had eye exams 50 years in a row & this was the most rushed & half a– I ever had. When I got to the desk AFTER he was done which was not long they found some fine print on a coupon to go up $ 89. I do not know for sure if the contacts are bad or the rushed exam, but They were uncomfortable & after having them on for a few hours I could not focus. I got so frustrated I threw them as far as I could & went somewhere else & had a FULLEYEEXAM& was given some comfortable contacts that I see very well with for $ 215 instead of Vision Sources $ 328. I have never thrown $ 328 away before. If you are thinking about going here just take 3 or 4 hundred dollars & throw it out the car window & save your self a trip here.

I just got off the phone with Jason. I swear it made me homesick. Why would calling an optometrist’s office do that? I think it has to do with knowing that I have to replace all the wonderful convenient services that I left behind upon moving and Vision Source is a place that will be hard to replace. When our insurance changed to Vision Source they had just opened and my experiences with where ins companies demand you go have been pretty scary in the past for both eye and dental services. But off I went because Vision Source was in our plan. Nice was that they were a block from the high school and minutes from my house. They were on my «errand loop», so to speak. It turned out great because they care above service, smiles, and accommodating the customer! Holey Toledo. An eye glass place that cares about our eyes and care that we got a good deal on contacts;a place that sends over the script that we forgot without question and does so promptly; a place that returns your calls and email; a place that matched the price I was going to spend online because they had a coupon that could make that happen. When we lost our insurance, no problem, they did not treat us like pariah, and understood that we had budget limits. So we stayed on with them despite all the«deals» that other places offer. We learned over the years that some of those«deals» can add up and that you have to be very careful. We found that it is better to go to someone that you can trust to work with you for your eyes and budget’s best interest. For example, my son’s prescription changed a bit but Dr. Berg said to just focus on the new script for contacts and let the lenses wait until the eyes changed more or something happened to the frames. She understood that with kids one of those many variables would come into play sooner than later. Eyeglasses can be outrageously expensive for a piece of plastic with a few coatings but we found that they had something for us at reasonable rates or you can go «fancier». Over the years all of our family has gone to Vision Source and been happy. Now that we are in CA, I miss such service and convenience. We went in to get just lenses for a backup pair of single vision lenses, no frames, and here they wanted us to walk out with a bill for $ 380. No, I like it when people care enough about their customers to meet their needs no matter what they are. And the primary thing when seeing an optometrist and buying vision products is about the health of the eye and good vision. Vision Source understands that. I hope the weather and beauty here make up for the wonderful care of so many people in Dripping.

Vision Source is a great place in DS to get your eyes checked out! They are all so nice! I have seen Dr. Berg and Dr. Florio and they are very comprehensive in their examination, informative and helpful!
