I placed a telephone order for a pizza box with pepperoni pizza light sauce and a large super supreme with stuffed crust, jalapenos on half. The order was placed on the phone with a woman who was unfamiliar with the menu, did not repeat my order, nor did she particularly seem to care whether I placed an order. Should have taken a clue and looked at the order before we left the store. The pepperoni pizza had regular sauce. The large super supreme turned out to be a large cheese pizza, light sauce with jalapenos on half. How do you get an order that wrong? The woman on the phone told me it would be ready at 6:06 pm. It was about 10 – 15 minutes after that before the pizza was ready. To top it off, it was quite possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. Knew we should have gone to Dominos…

Easily one of the worst Pizza Huts in the Austin area. I presume this is because it is the only Pizza hut in Dripping Springs and they don’t really feel any sense of competition. I would not use the ‘scheduled delivery’ option on their website as they never show up within 45 minutes of the scheduled time regardless of how far in advance you submit the order. The drivers never have cheese or peppers and frequently forget things like dipping sauces so be sure to check your order before they leave. If you are in Dripping Springs and are craving a pizza, I recommend driving to either the Austin Pizza Garden at the Y in oak hill or the Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs instead of using this Pizza Hut.

We ordered several pizzas tonight online several HOURS before our party for an approx delivery of 7:45pm. At 8:30pm when the adults were ready to «bruschetta» the pizza’s were a NOSHOW. When we called they told us their delivery guy wasn’t back yet??? WHA??? My husband, who by the way left without me knowing… since it was HIS birthday!!! to pick up the pizzas?! A house full of guests, table full of food for dinner and a party and we had to leave to pick up dinner for the kids that was ordered hours earlier to make sure our evening went off without a hitch. I am beyond disappointed, and upset. They ended up giving us our order for free, but the disruption it caused in our party was unforgivable. They never called us to tell us the story?! I spent 30 min on hold to figure out where the pizzas were?!

Disaster place — to bad you can’t go lower than a one — called in order 2 hours to deliver or 30 minutes to pick up, thus I choose pick up — still had to wait 45 minutes for crappy food and a dirty waiting area

Who would ever think I would down grade the star rating for a Pizza Hut? I have no shame in doing this; turns out our local branch has a few flaws. A group of friends decided we needed lunch delivered so we hit the internet and debated on the offerings. The chain has a soft spot for me; buffets after field trips at my high school and a close friend worked at a South Austin branch for several years. I still call it her most successful job; even taking a few potential girlfriends her way for sizing up. Outlet stores sans an actual dining room lean towards a more machine like weapon of mass production than a true 80’s original. We all made critical decisions and completed the online ordering process. The site made me choose time an hour after I made the order, then failed to send it to the location. I called an hour and twenty into the order only to be told that they never got it. Dramatic pause with me inquiring about a substantial discount, and we ordered again. Delivery was as promised on this attempt. FINALLY, we get to eat but in shifts now due to schedules. Two large pizzas and boneless wings with the hottest option on sauce. The wings won the taste test and produced a balanced heat without making you grab a drink. A thin crust supreme came in second with decent crisp texture. Then, here comes the cheese-a-holic trip directly to the emergency room. I didn’t read the description thanks to the second attempt so I ordered an alfredo sauce, double cheese, pepperoni and onion, deep dish disaster. So rich only two slices out of a large were consumed. My friend Jeremy refused to even try it. Not exactly the fault of our local corporate controlled outlet, wishing they would have repeated the ingredients on the phone to make us understand what we actually ordered. Conformation along with timely delivery without hiccups is key when establishing a new business. Today, our local branch didn’t make the meager three star praise. Listen and learn from some local feedback. Adapt to the neighborhood and fix that damn internet glitch! UPDATE — At 11:00PM that night my internet order somehow went thru and the delivery driver called 5 times looking to deliver the pizza I ordered at 10:47AM
