On the road but craving coffee? Swing by this place for an espresso, cappuccino or latte«made with love.» Not just love; their coffees are also made with locally roasted, organic coffee beans. They’ve got hot or iced coffees, mochas, chai lattes, tea, hot chocolate, yummy fruit smoothies like strawberry-banana, and breakfast tacos for early birds(no, that would not be me).

Before I met Jenny, coffee of any kind wasn’t really on my priority list. I’d probably could have filed it under that all night driving aide rather than my daily necessity. While I’m not a full blown addict(yet) I do enjoy an iced coffee every once in awhile. I’ve driven past the tiny little building on 290 probably a hundred times without stopping until this afternoon. The place is small; like you could fit your John Deer riding mower or one of my motorcycles inside in and that’s it. My visit paid off today with a tasty Hazelnut Iced Latte and some friendly folks ready to chat when I drove up. The staff is Texas friendly which I found quite amazing considering the proprietors are from Washington State. Dripping Springs is growing up my friends. Next thing you know we’ll have three traffic signals! Hell, you couldn’t even buy beer in town until 4 years ago. Now we got a Home Depot, McDonalds, and now a slick little drive thru with coffee? Am I still in Hays County? This country bumpkin can roll with the progress I guess and welcome a business like Brevita.
